Host was very nice but this area was terrible. Beautiful house but not good surroundings. I could literally smell weed coming in through the windows every night at a certain time. Loud partying into the wee hours of the morning. The house itself was ok. But if you're planning to sit on a porch and have coffee in the morning, or go for a walk around the area, this is not it.
Enjoyed our stay in Waco. Very well appointed rental. Beds were super comfortable. Communication with host was outstanding. She went above and beyond. Thank you for the great stay. Will definitely stay again.
We found this place on the busiest weekend of the year for Waco. The place is a little small but the hosts made everything as comfortable as they could. Cute little place and a reasonable price.
Easy check in. Exactly as described - go into kitchen and up the stairs to bedrooms and living area. Shiplap on the walls and original wood floors. Large bathroom upstairs and half bath down. Appreciated the water in the fridge.Comfy beds. Black out curtains in the bedrooms. Easy to adjust heat/air both upstairs and downstairs. Good location.
Such a cute space! It was perfect for me and my best friends to catch up after years of not seeing each other. Great location, perfect size space for the 3 of us.
We booked this for a weekend getaway to go antiquing. At first we were a little worried about the look of the neighborhood, but didn’t have a bit of trouble. It is a quiet area and perfectly safe. The play area isn’t exactly as advertised, and would be better for pets rather than children. Shower had plenty of hot water, and the kitchen had everything we could possibly need. If you don’t mind steep stairs, this is a perfect place. We met the owners as we were leaving Sunday morning, and they were very friendly.
The owner was very accommodating, and reached out to make sure that we settled in just fine, and were taken care of. It was close to everything that we went to Waco to see.
Everything but the stairs was toddler friendly which we knew ahead of time. It was great to have a crib already set up. It didn’t feel like the most secure neighborhood & as other reviews mentioned there was in fact extremely loud music being played next door (obviously not the hosts fault). I would plan to bring a sound machine or play white noise on your phone.
We had a great time visiting Waco. The house was very comfortable and clean and the host communicated all of our needs. It was a short drive to Baylor University. We would absolutely stay here again!
