Beautiful location. Everything was as described and more. The property was immaculate. We can't say enough good things about this place and look forward to coming back.
This is a great property, with many separate spaces to enjoy the riverside, the dock, the lower screen room, the lower deck, the upper deck, the house screen room, the fire pit, the great room inside, and the breakfast room. Awesome. We made two calls to our host, and the were answered immediately, with full satisfaction for our Q's. Very comfortable for 3 adult couples. Highly recommend this for a calm getaway.
Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Mary Anne had everything we could need from fire starters for the outdoor fire pit to lanterns by the door “just in case” there was a loss of power. Our favorite part about the place was the view and all of the sitting areas we could use to enjoy it. Can’t recommend this place enough. We will definitely be back.
We 4 ladies travel several times a year with our bikes and never go to the same place but we decided before departing we will definitely be back. The River house is beyond belief, there was nothing that we needed as it was all there. Very comfortable, roomy and the outside amenities were awesome (even tho we hit rainy days). It has the best of everything! If you need to relax, this is the place. Mary Anne provides quick responses to any questions and is a gracious hostess.

Thank you for the kind review I am happy to hear you are returning. You are the guests every VRBO host wishes for - you left everything perfect! Much appreciated!
What a wonderful place to stay! The home is beautiful, with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. This was my first time using VRBO and it was easy to book and communicate with the property owner and caretaker. The camp is located on a beautiful, peaceful part of the Allegheny River. I enjoyed relaxing on the boat dock early in the morning. There are several decks with views of the river. We cooked out on the grill provided and enjoyed eating on the deck overlooking the river. Firewood was provided for a nice campfire at night. Everything needed for a relaxing river weekend getaway. Thank you!

We enjoyed a wonderful extended weekend at Mary Ann's Riverhouse on the Allegheny River. If anything the pictures don't do it justice. A perfect location to bike or hike the Armstrong Trail, sit and watch the river flow by or enjoy an evening by the fire.
This home was above & beyond our expectations - beautifully cared for, indoors & out, thoughtfully set up for a group to gather and enjoy the river views, very comfortable for six, we will definitely look forward to a return next time we are in East Brady.
We went to the Allegheny for the fishing, and while the fish didn’t cooperate the stay was amazing! The outdoor space on the River House was gorgeous! The inside was comfortable and well appointed! All the stars!
It was a wonderful house by the river. It was very well stocked with anything we might need. Mary ann was very welcoming and accommodating. I would highly recommend this home. There wasn't any cell reception around the area but the wifi worked well. I enjoyed sitting in the gazebo and listening to the river drift by
This property was fantastic! It had everything we needed. The property owner was amazing and extremely responsive. It was nice to not have to bring our own linens. The view of the water was beautiful. The little screened-in hut was perfect at night. My group will definitely be staying again.
This is a clean, well-organized, and delightful property. The outdoor areas are perfect for visiting together, or simply reading in the screened porch and watching the many birds. The kitchen is excellent, even the knives were sharp! The grill was clean and seemed almost new. The beds and pillows were comfortable and the linens and towels were quality (better than mine at home). Next time I am in Brady's Bend, this is where I hope to be :) RiverHouse!
It was a great half way point to meet family between Detroit and Philadelphia. Everything was very clean and cozy. The owner thought of everything from condiments to setting up the fire pit to extra sweatshirts/blankets. Will come again.
Everything was perfect. MaryAnne thought of everything that you could possibly need or want, it was in the house. Felt like part of the family. House and property was gorgeous, right on the river. Can’t wait to come back
Despite near-record rainfall, we had a great time gathering at Mary Anne's river house! The screened porch overlooking the river made it possible to enjoy the outdoors while staying dry. Beautiful gardens surround the property. The house is well-stocked and has absolutely everything we could possibly need - the whole atmosphere was very welcoming and made it easy to relax away from home.
We had an Amazing time this weekend at MaryAnnes. Cleanest, most well stocked place we have ever stayed in! We kayaked, had a beautiful day on the pontoon boat, hiked, played games! We brought all of our own groceries and had a fun time
Cooking together. So many different areas to spread out if you need some time
Apart. I have already shared contact information with a few friends that saw the pictures we posted. Wonderful time! Pictures do not do this place justice!
You will not regret booking!
Us women travel frequently and this home was one of the most beautiful relaxing places ever! Mary Anne is great to work with and the house had EVERYTHING we needed!
Beautiful property right on the Allegheny River. Flowers and shrubs and decks and sunroom and boathouse etc. Exactly what I was looking for. Mary Anne has this place set up like a home. Everything we needed she had. Wanted to fish but it rained. No matter … plenty of games and Netflix and Amazon TV. We relaxed in the boathouse and stayed dry and played some cards and had a few beers. Had a fire in the fire pit too. Beds very comfy too and bathrooms and kitchen a family room were perfect. I would stay there again for sure.
Mary Anne and Perry's home right on the Allegheny River is a dream! The pics don't do it justice...the home itself is fully stocked with everything that you need, extra pillows, blankets, fluffy towels etc. And even more thoughtful touches like extra sweatshirts to keep you warm on those chilly nights (and days like we just had this past weekend) as well as lanterns in each bedroom in case the electricity goes out. The home has a wonderful seating area outside with a fire pit that we took full advantage of. Mary Anne and Perry even have firewood for the fire pit, as well as extra in case you need it. The home is a jaunt away from the Armstrong Trail and Foxburg, which I highly recommend. Additionally, Mary Anne and Perry checked in to make sure that everything was going well during our stay. I wish it would have been warm enough to charter a ride on their pontoon :). If you're looking for a place to stay in this area, this is it. Don't wait!!! Go book it!
We spent a weekend here and absolutely loved it!!! Everything was impeccably clean, and it was very well stocked with everything we needed. The host was highly communicative and very helpful. We grilled and spent most of our time outdoors enjoying the multiple seating areas with views of the river. Inside and outside were so comfortable and relaxing. This was a true magical getaway and just what we needed.
