Amazing views from all over the house. Relaxing in the hot tub while watching the waves was exactly what I needed. Very easy access to the beach which was great for my dad and children. The host was great at communicating. Will rent again.

The communication with the host was amazing! He was very quick to respond to our questions and willing to give us ideas of where to eat, shop, etc to make our vacation more memorable. The location was perfect for a relaxing week on the ocean with the use of a pool and hottub.

The views are incredible, We loved the sunrises in the upstairs living room and deck. Easiest (private) path to the beach around. The pool and hot tub were well maintained and lovely. Our group of 6 enjoyed our stay and would come back again.

Thanks for that. This is such a beautiful spot ! We added some umbrellas to the pool deck this year to keep things cool and shady. It has been a hot summer but the short walk to the beach is so nice ! We have some beach chairs and umbrella too. Stay cool and wet !

Our family loved staying here. It was such a short walk to the beach. It wasn’t a super busy beach so it was nice. We could walk back and forth from the beach to the house if we needed something. There were chairs, umbrellas and a tent there for us to use. When we weren’t at the beach we were in the pool. We could hear the ocean waves crashing as we relaxed in the pool. The kids and adults loved it. We had everything we needed there. There was enough space for everyone. We loved the area because it wasn’t super busy and built up. It wasn’t a far drive to get food or take a hike. The view was beautiful from the decks. We could see the ocean. Especially the hot tub at night. We would definitely stay here again. George was great at communicating and answering any questions we had.

Thanks Brittany So glad you had a good time. It is a beautiful spot. We are going down from our place in Virginia Beach to spend a week next week. We need to replace some curtains and do some routine maintenence and landscaping ( cut the grass!) The fall is approaching and cooler days are ahead but the summer is still here and still the weather is glorious in Hatteras Island right up to and including Thanksgiving. The pool is open until mid October The days are warm and the ocean is a perfect color. See you this fall or next year we hope !

The great communication was Tod telling me about all the fish he was catching on the pier and in the surf and on a charter from Hatteras Jacks with his kids and they just had a great time. I was so excited for them.

Great Place

We thoroughly enjoyed our weeklong stay. Pool was great, access to the beach couldn’t be better. Just like any other beachfront home on the Outer Banks there were lots of stairs so be prepared. Overall a great family / friends vacation!

Family gathering

The location and ocean view was excellent. We enjoyed sitting on the upper deck to watch the sunrise and saw dolphins swim by a few times. Kid and dog friendly. Being there late September it was nice to have the pool and hot tub available.

Family vacation

Place was wonderful. Centrally located, so we were able to hit northern outer banks and southern outerbanks. Hot tub was great with view of ocean. Quick 3 minute walk over dunes to ocean. We will be back!

Great Location

The location of this house makes it easy to go back and forth to the beach. We had a lot of rain showers pop up throughout the week and being so close made it easy to run back to the house as needed. The pool was amazing, probably the best pool we’ve had in a rental property. The kids had a blast.

Being a pet friendly house has always been a huge factor in where to rent for vacations, plus please note that we do not charge extra for pets! We just ask that you treat the house as it is your own. Make sure all animals have flea treatments and stay off of the comforters and PLEASE clean up after them. In all these years I can report we have had no serious problems. Our pet friendly guests are good owners and treat our house with respect. Thanks for that all of you! So tell me, how much fun is it to run on the beach or throw the ball in the ocean for your Dog to fetch? A lot ! And oh yes.... Sitting on the decks and watching the ocean and sky is a priceless experience I agree. I'm looking forward to our owners weeks this year. Thank you!

The home was in a perfect location in the Rodanthe/Waves community. Great ocean views from the hot tub on the deck was our family’s favorite spot. The pool was clean and comfortable also. The house itself was spacious and had everything we needed.

Happy Thanksgiving Getaway

Very relaxing stay. Loved the home, beach, waves, and loved being able to bring our 5# dog. Had an issue with hot tub on first night and immediately the Host sent someone to assist-thats great hosting. Was very quiet during our time here over Thanksgiving. Just what was needed 😀

Location was great

Got a lot of use out of the hot tub. The weather was terrible, not owners fault, we got a lot of use out of the hot tub. The kitchen was well stocked and clean. The grill was in good shape and lit easily. Nice place. Went to the seafood place in Salvo several times Nice place

The hot tub is on the top deck so you had a nice view of the wild ocean on those windy rainy days huh ? Actually that’s really fun ! Good location for the beach with a wonderful pool. However, the house and especially the bedrooms were too small for a family of eight not to mention only two bathrooms. Also, no master bedroom with a private bath.

I am sorry the house wasn’t big enough for you. But it is nice location and the pool is fantastic of course. It is true that The two bedrooms upstairs share a bath . And the two bedrooms downstairs also share a bath. However There is a third full bath on the first floor with a bed and TV. There are plenty of bathrooms it seems to us. so I don’t know why you’d say we have only two baths when there are three. Three full bathrooms not two! But you are correct we do not have a master bedroom with its own bathroom. But we have two outdoor hot showers one enclosed with a changing area and one by the pool. Lots of places to go to the bathroom and shower or bathe! Anyway thank you so much for staying. I hope you had a great time !
