Fantastic!!

Lovely break. Two separate areas which was great for kids. Pool for half day & garden other half or bit of both throughout the day. Lazy evenings watching sunset over the distant hills.

Pleasant home, great view (and sunset), large pool

We loved staying here. Its a nice house, clean, quiet, charming Portugese. Its a bit different than you expect. There are 2 houses on the property, the one you’re staying in has a great yard, terrace and a small playground. From here a staircase is leading to the other house where the pool is located. Within 10-30 minutes you find everything you need for a great vacation.

We had a pleasant holiday here.New garden beds were delivered on our second day, and a question about indoor bedding was answered promptly.It's worth noting that the pool is not visible from this house; it is up some steps and round a corner, and was used by the owners during our stay. They asked if it was OK to share, (it was) and we had a nice chat, but the pool is not private to the rental.Instructions for entry and departure were clear, the house was clean and tidy, without housekeeping for a 10 day stay.

Tranquil, comfortable and idyllic

This place was gorgeous. It's compact, well fitted out and comfortable, with air conditioning/heating throughout the place. A few points to know are that the site is shared with the owner's house and pool, but the owner was not present during our trip so we had private access to the pool. We had a minor initial issue with pool cleanliness which was sorted out promptly. The narrow roads leading to the property can be challenging with a big car. Overall, it was very tranquil and well located for exploring other areas of the Algarve and we wouldn't hesitate to return.

I am glad you enjoyed your stay at Monte Sao Miguel. We try to do our best for the pool maintenance but sometimes big temperature differences make it difficult to keep the water perfectly clean. Pool is never shared since I am in France during the summer season. Will be happy to welcome you again.

Positiv: Fliegenschutzgitter an allen Fenstern/Terrassentüren, freundliche und hilfsbereite Vermieterin in der direkten Nachbarschaft Negativ: die Küche ist schlecht ausgestattet, der „private“ Pool gehört eigentlich zum Nachbarhaus, die Gartenmöbel sind runtergekommen und wenig gepflegt

Wir sind 2 weltweit gereiste Menschen und haben in langen Jahren viel Erfahrung mit Unterkünften jeglicher Art gesammelt. Allerdings sind wir noch NIE von irgendeinem (r) Gastgeber (in) als Gast bewertet worden und gleichzeitig aufgefordert worden unsere Bewertung abzugeben um andererseits die Bewertung der Gastgeberin über UNS einzusehen! Chronik: Es kam eine Mail von Martha Caceres mit dem Hinweis, daß ein Lageplan von ihr über Google maps gesendet wird. Dies war zunächst wegen Übermittlung einer fehlerhaften Telefonnummer nicht möglich. Letztlich bekamen wir Kontakt mit einem neuen Namen Corinne? Vor Ort trafen wir auf den uns avisierten Gärtner in Begleitung einer älteren Dame, die nur auf unsere Frage, ob sie Martha sei, bejahte. Ob sie Eigentümerin oder Verwalterin des Objekts war, wurde nicht mitgeteilt. Wir hatten einen, wie von vielen bereits rezensiert, ruhigen und guten Aufenthalt in einer schönen und ruhigen Natur. Sejour au calme sur les hauteurs de Faro

La location correspond à l'annonce. La maison n'est pas très grande mais fonctionnelle. La climatisation est vraiment appréciable ! Terrasse ombragée, jardin et un peu plus haut, une belle piscine! Située sur les hauteurs il faut compter 1/2 heure pour se rendre à Faro. L endroit est calme (à part les chiens du quartier qui s'y mettent parfois à l'unisson...). La maison est équipée de volets et de moustiquaires. Pour un séjour au calme c'est une bonne adresse. Par contre la voiture est indispensable !

Séjour appréciable et au calme

Très bon et beau séjour , bel extérieur très calme et reposant . Nous avons bien profiter des paysages de l environnement. Juste petit inconvénient au sein de la cuisine il n’y avait pas de micro ondes ce qui reste toujours utile pendant des vacances. Et à savoir quand on a un enfant de moins de 3/4 ans attention au jardin car il y a beaucoup de marches et de pierres ce qui pourrait être dangereux sans surveillance. Merci à l hôte

Es ist eine wunderschöne Unterkunft! Perfekte Ruhe, toller Pool, nicht einsehbar. Martha ist eine tolle Host. Coin de paradis

Maison très agréable, bien équipée et isolée de la chaleur. Beaux espaces extérieurs (pelouse, jeux, piscine sécurisée), idéal pour venir en famille avec de jeunes enfants. Endroit très calme, un peu isolé mais facilement accessible depuis l'aéroport. La propriétaire Martha est très réactive et sympathique. Je recommande.

Top Erholung

Das Ferienhaus liegt etwas außerhalb in einer absoluten Traumlage. Sehr ruhig mit schöner Natur in direkter Nachbarschaft. Vom Grundstück aus hat man einen super Blick auf Faro und in Richtung Meer. Sehr gepflegtes Grundstück mit einem Pool zur alleinigen Nutzung. Das Haus und Grundstück werden vom Personal regelmäßig gereinigt und in Ordnung gehalten. Die perfekte Erholung an der Algarve. Martha ist eine Top Gastgeberin. Sehr freundlich und kümmert sich um alle Wünsche. Ich werde definitiv wieder dorthin reisen.

Entramos em casa sem ninguem paara nos receber, foi enviado memorando onde estaria a chave {escondida debaixo de 1 janela}, limpeza nao existiu, tivemos de limpar toda a casa, tenho varias fotos a comprovar o mesmo, no anuncio dizem ter garagem, estava trancada e nunca tivemos chave para a mesma, no dia a seguir a termos chegado esteve no local a sebhora que era suposto efetuar a limpeza e disse nos de que o carro era para ficsr na rua. Vou passar ferias ao Algarve á cerca de 18 anos e nunca efetuei 1 comentario negativo mas esta casa ultrapassou todos os limites, na carta enviada pela proprietaria pedia que tivessemos o portao sempre trancado mas o de cima que da acesso á outra casa teve a semana toda aberto, qualquer pessoa entrava na nossa casa, alias houve 1 dia que chegamos a casa e nos deparamos com 1 senhor no nosso jardim, a tratar a relva, nao nos podiam avisar? Nao aconselho de todo a ninguem

Hébergement de bonne qualité

Cet hébergement est bien situé. Il est à la fois dans un endroit tranquille et proche de toutes les activités. Il est très bien aménagé. Je le conseille plus pur deux personnes que pour 4. Le seul petit bémol la piscine est un peu loin de la terrasse. Mais c’est un détail. Très belle vue à souligner.

Un beau séjour avec belle vue sur mer et montagnes

Une belle semaine dans une propriété où nous avons pu observer des magnifiques couchers de soleil et le ciel étoilé où les étoiles filantes d'août ont été au rendez vous. Une piscine très grande où il a fait bon se baigner. La propriété mériterait d'avoir un jardin un peu plus aménagé, le coin hamac est super sympa. La maison pas très grande manque un peu d'accessoires comme le porte savon ou gobelet brosses à dent.Ce sont des détails certes! et nous avons su composer avec la vaisselle proposée dans la cuisine (verre et petite assiette). Martha est une hôte à l'écoute des vacanciers et fait tout pour que cela se passe bien! Merci Martha😊!

Tem tudo para ser um local de excelência para desfrutar de uma agradável estadia, mas....

O local é bom, deu para recuperar forças. A casa tem tudo o que é preciso. Tem de melhorar a limpeza e se o jardim tivesse tratado e com relva seria um local a voltar.

Combinação perfeita

A combinação entre a qualidade da propriedade, a tranquilidade do local e a distância do mar permitiram uma combinação perfeita para as férias. A propriedade é excelente, maior do que dá para perceber pelas fotografias. A casa está bem equipada e tem uma dimensão adequada para alojar quatro ou cinco pessoas e a piscina é excelente. O local é tranquilo, reservado e de fácil acesso. A distância da praia é, por um lado, suficiente para evitar confusões, mas está a menos de meia hora de distância de carro e a dez minutos de mercados. A proprietária, Martha Caceres, esteve sempre disponível para todas as dúvidas. O único aspeto a melhorar é o da limpeza, mas estou certo que a Martha já tratou dessa questão.
