About this property

Little house on the Prairie, Gorgeous Kansas Sunsets

This one bedroom House in the heart of the Midwest has all of the comforts of home! You have the entire property to yourself, complete with a fully appointed kitchen, and laundry in the bathroom. The exterior of the house boasts a large yard, and patio for relaxing. One claim to fame for Ness is the Historic Bank building. I would be happy to arrange a Free tour of this building as I am a member of the Bank Building Foundation. We also have some of the best quail and pheasant hunting around. The house has one Queen bedroom the other portion of the house is living space with fold out couch, fold out ottomans, and futon.

I am a lifetime resident of Ness City, Kansas I grew up here went to college in Hays, Kansas. My wife was originally from Northwest Kansas, and we have 4 children spread out over 13 years. We live across town form the location and enjoy hosting!

Why they chose this property

This home was purchased shortly after I moved back to Ness it was part of my Great Grandmothers house. The original house was moved to town from the country by my Great Grandparents. The house was then added on to and in the early 2000's the owner moved then the original house back to the country about 5 miles from its original location. I purchased the addition and converted it into a single bedroom rental property and a few years later we started hosting in this house.
