About this property

CAURO, pleasant house, 12 minutes from the sea and hiking trails

Detached house, comfortable, with garden, located in the heart of the village of Cauro (20117) 10 minutes from the beaches of Porticcio, 15 minutes from Ajaccio airport, 20 minutes from the imperial city; but also close to starting hiking trails like the Mare e Mare Center.
It can accommodate from 2 to 7 people, suitable for a couple as for one or two family (s) with its 7 beds (air-conditioned rooms).
Ideally located between sea and mountain, you will enjoy the beaches of Porticcio (beach Viva, Agosta, peninsula Isolella, Mare e Sole, ...) but also walks, hiking (Lake Tolla ...), via ferrata ... to discover the landscapes of the Prunelli Valley to the ski resort of Val d'Ese.
One of the last stages of the Mare e Mare (Col St-Georges Porticcio) is easy to organize from Cauro also.
You are directly on the big quick accesses to the roads of the South (Propriano, Bonifacio, Bavella but also to Corté, Piana) which is really practical to consider the ballads to the day without ironing by the southern bank of the Gulf of Ajaccio.
Precision for holidaymakers on motorbikes: a secure space is provided for the parking of the motorcycle (s).
The house has been completely renovated and equipped to new in 2017:
On the ground floor :
a living room (with fireplace), a fully equipped kitchen, a loggia, a bathroom (shower + wc), a garden with terrace and furniture (barbecue and parasol).
On the floor, 3 air-conditioned rooms (since 2018) and a bathroom with tub.
You benefit from a parking in front of the house and the possibility of securely storing roof box, sailboards, diving equipment, bicycles, motorcycles ...

100 m away are Bar, Tobacconies, Bread Store, Mini market, Pizzeria, Restaurant, Post Office, Doctor.

We provide for the little ones an umbrella bed with mattress, a booster seat, a deck chair.

A deposit check (not cashed) will be requested upon delivery of the keys and will be returned on the last day if no deterioration is found.
A participation for the household is to be added to the rental price.
The linen is not provided (consult us if necessary).

Maison très agréable, seul point négatif la circulation est tres dense, les automobilistes roulent tres vite dans ce village, et rien n’est mis en place pour la sécurité des personnes….

Un jolie maison de village

La maison est très agréable , joliment décorée ,très bien équipée . Les échanges avec les propriétaires sont faciles et rapides. Christelle nous a bien accueilli , elle nous a donné des conseils appréciables pour nos visites, baignades. En résumé ne pas hésiter pour louer cette maison , c’était parfait !

Excellent séjour

Maison très agréable à vivre, très propre et très bien équipée (rien ne manque). La literie est bonne et la clim très efficace par ces fortes chaleurs. La personne qui fait l'accueil est très agréable et s'est montrée très disponible. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour à Cauro.

Good stay in Cauro

The holiday in Cauro was very pleasant. The house is nice, comfortable and well furnished with appliances. The garden is small but well maintained. The only small flaw is the absence of mosquito nets. The property is located in the village of Cauro and is convenient for reaching both the sea and the hinterland.

Très jolie maison très bien située

Nous avons séjourné en famille dans cette jolie maison, très bien située entre mer et lac (tolla à faire en pédalo) . Tout est très bien équipé et nous avons trouvé la maison très propre ce qui n’est pas toujours le cas . Je vous recommande cette adresse.

Excellent séjour!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Cauro dans cette maison de famille. Nous étions 2 couples, une adolescente et deux enfants, chacun y a trouvé sa place. La maison est très bien équipée, située le long d'une route entre mer et montagne. La climatisation dans les chambres est un plus. Nous avons testé la pizzeria ainsi qu'un restaurant du village, tous deux très bons. L'accueil des propriétaires était très chaleureux et la maison très propre à notre arrivée. Adresse à retenir!

Bon compromis entre mer et montagne

Maison de propriétaire bien rénovée. Route principale reliant Ajaccio à Bonifacio à proximité et donc bruyant mais jardin privatif sur l’arrière très paisible.

Magnifique sejour a Cauro. La maison est impecable et parfaitement bien située, mer et montagne.

Nous avons adoré la maison de Cauro: tout est mis a disposition pour que l’on se sente bien. Idéalement située, on peut rapidement aller vers a la plage ou se baigner en riviere. L’accueil, la disponibilité des propriétaires est très appréciable. Nous etions une familles de 5, dont 3 grands ado et tout le monde a adoré le sejour.

Das Haus ist liebevoll und gemütlich eingerichtet und wir fühlten uns sofort wohl. Wir vermissten nichts, da das Haus top ausgestattet ist. Ob im Garten, im Wintergarten oder im Haus selbst, überall findet man Plätze um gemeinsam mit der Familie zu essen, zu reden oder zu spielen. Aber auch Rückzugsmöglichkeiten, um z.B in einem guten Buch zu schmöckern. Der Kontakt mit Valerie war unheimlich nett, auf Englisch konnten wir problemlos alles klären und sie war für meine Fragen und Anliegen immer offen und hilfsbereit. Wir verbrachten hier eine tolle Zeit .

Superbes vacances entre amis et en famille

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Cauro. Très bonne communication avec Valérie, qui a été extrêmement disponible et patiente. De même très bon accueil de la part de Francis, qui nous a conseillé plein de lieux à visiter. Il a été tres flexible sur les horaires d'arrivée et de départ. Concernant la maison elle est parfaite pour un séjour en famille, très bien équipée : lit parapluie, transat, chaise réhausseur, parasol. Cela a grandement simplifié notre séjour avec un nourrison et un enfant de 2 ans. Elle est également très bien pour un séjour avec des amis : les deux grandes chambres avec lit double n'étant pas côte à côte, le barbecue, le jardin, la loggia, la terrasse permettent de passer de bons moments dans la maison. Enfin le village de Cauro bien que petit comprend : une pizzeria, une petite épicerie et un bar des sports très sympathique. Le village est situé à même pas 20 minutes en voiture de l'aéroport d'Ajaccio. La localisation est très pratique pour pouvoir réaliser plusieurs escapades autour de la baie. Je recommande cette maison.

Pour des vacances idéales

Nous avons passés un excellent séjour sur Cauro. Le logement est très fonctionnel et très bien équipé. Idéalement situé pour un accès rapide aux principales villes touristiques de Corse. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la loggia. Très pratique en cas de pluie. Un bon compromis entre intérieur et extérieur. Un grand merci à Patrice et Francis pour leurs conseils et leur accueil. Nous garderons un très bon souvenir de notre séjour en Corse.

Sehr schönes Haus mit allem, was man benötigt. mpfe Auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen. Zwar an der Haupt-Durchgangsstraße durch Cauro, aber zumindest in der Nachsaison kein Problem. Wintergarten und Terasse gehen nach hinten heraus.

Nous avons été accueilli avec gentillesse et avec une foule d'adresses et d'endroits à visiter.La maison est exactement comme sur les photos , en excellent état ,elle venait d'être refaite à neuf,confortable ,il ne manque rien pour se sentir aussi bien que chez soi,elle est extrêmement bien équipée .La maison est située dans un village au bord de la route nationale ,ce qui fait que c'est un peu bruyant, mais bien placée pour aller en visite vers le nord ou le sud.Nous serions contents d'y retourner et la conseillons pour vos vacances.
