Old style charm with with modern conveniences, this home has it all. The location is very private and sits adjacent to Treasure Island on the peaceful North Platt River. Terrific views, great fly fishing and only 13 minutes to Saratoga, Wyoming. Designed for a quiet get away or a celebration with family and friends.
May 12, 2026 Thanks Jeff. Place was excellent. Had everything we needed, got to watch the hockey games at night after long days of fishing. Didn't catch a lot of fish but the ones we did were some of the largest I've ever caught. Definitely quality fish. Brought inflatable kayaks up with us from Boulder. Put in at Bennets Peak campground and floated down 12 miles to the house. Took us a bit under 7 hours. Unfortunately the first 5 miles or so was through private land where we couldn't get out of the boat. Beautiful float however. Water high enough where we were still able to go the whole way without dragging the kayaks. No one else on the water. Second day just walked and waded around the island which was probably better than floating. All in all, a great place and a great time. Thank you for all the information you provided. All the best,Scott
This was the ideal spot for a peaceful, quiet family getaway. We couldn't have asked for a more gracious, helpful host as well! The serenity and beauty of the property was only equalled by the comfort and thoughtful care of the farmhouse itself. It had everything we could have needed and more. Would certainly recommend this place to anyone in search of a homestead paradise to truly relax, get away from the crowd, and get back in touch with nature.
A treasure at Treasure Island. If you like simple pleasures and homey style, this is the place for you. The house was clean, comfy, and a very quiet location.

Great property and I really loved the historic aspect. Great house and older historic buildings on the property along with historic art effects internally. Great location to walk to the river and fish. Jeff's great guys with awesome communication and absolutely exceeded expectations!!
This vacation property is very well kept and supplied. It is a beautiful location. Extremely comfortable. Very relaxing location. We enjoyed the hummingbirds and other wildlife. Lots of extras including pre made hummingbird food and written instructions on most items.
This place is amazing....especially with the current pandemic. You can explore the medicine bow & southern Wyoming or simply enjoy the peace & quiet. Highly recommend this timely oasis!

Thanks Anthony was a pleasure to host you and your family...
Everything was great, from the hosts communication to the location. Check in to the property was simple and well documented. The rooms were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked(multiple pots and pans), which hasn't been the case in previous places I've stayed. The mud room was an added bonus for our fishing gear and a good place to dry any wet items. I would happily stay there again.
This property and the surroundings are very special. A step back in time with all the special touches and amenities. I plan on staying here again. Jeff was very responsive to all communications and provided very valued information concerning the property and surrounding areas. Very special place!

Thanks Todd hope you guys had fun fishing; sorry about the boat launch construction noise, but it is all done now!
Had a great snowmobile trip with the boys with fresh powder to ride and the ranch house caps off the whole trip with a nice place to rest up.
Jeff does a great job with communication and his hospitality is off the charts compared to other places I've stayed. Nice job!

Why they chose this property
Stayed in these cabins as a kid in 1977, caught my first trout by accident and have been hooked ever since - pun intended. When you smell the cottonwood trees, take in the views, listen to the river, you'll understand.
What makes this property unique
•The property is a homestead from the late 1800's, an experience not a stay. Full kitchen, BBQ+Smoker, plan to cook! 2 acre pasture bring your horses. •Modernized with mesh Wifi, internet TV, charging stations & outlets, EV Level 2 charger, 100% Dimmable LED bulbs. •Views of the tree-lined river and 12,000' snow capped mountains east & west from your deck chair... •This unpopulated, predominantly private valley still retains it's western quaintness - activities aside, a great place to come and just relax. •4 Wilderness areas: Huston Park, Encampment River, Savage Run, Platte River
