The Chalet offers a great escape from the stresses of city life!
Chalet in the Sky is located right in the middle of the Poconos! Wineries and breweries are within a 20 minute drive. Historic Jim Thorpe is a short drive and Beltsville Lake State Park is a 20 minute drive. The lake is 7 miles long and is a hub for boating, fishing and many hiking trails nearby. The Delaware Water Gap is also located within a 30 minute drive and offers beautiful hikes and views along the Delaware River.

Deer and wildlife often stop and craze through the backyard during your stay. Many different birds visit the tree tops! There are many antique shops and farm stands located nearby. If you love the out doors, the house is also located near the Lehigh Gorge state Park which is home to the Lehigh River. In the Spring, Summer and Fall, go rafting on a Dam Release weekend! Gorgeous fall foliage! The Lehigh River is also stocked with rainbow trout each season. The home is located within a few minutes of the Pohopoco Creek witch is a beautiful tributary to the Lehigh river and also stocked with trout each season!
The chalet is a perfect place to relax and forget about the stresses of everyday life. I have lived in NYC for the last 15 years and when I purchased the house I found it hard to return after long weekends at my home. Now I want to share that experience with others. When you rent the house it’s entirely yours! However if you need anything I am a phone call away! Enjoy!
