Alderwood lake house Sanford/Orlando near SFB

Our lovely home overlooks Lake Ada in Sanford, Florida. This lake is a hidden gem just 10 minutes drive to Sanford International Airport SFB. Cozy and comfortable setting, in the midst of all that Sanford has to offer.

This comfortable home updated laminate floors, a large master suite with private bathroom. This is a split bedroom plan with the master on the opposite side of the home as the other bedrooms for added privacy. There are two full bathrooms and a nice screened porch overlooking the lake.

There are two flat screen smart TV's in the home. One in the family room and one in the master bedroom. We have many local channels available via antenna along with Netflix and many other viewing options available through the smart TV. You are also welcome to watch movies that we keep on site.

We enjoyed our stay at the lake house for a soccer tournament weekend. It was fun to be right on the water and the boys enjoyed fishing off the dock on our down time.

Home was very clean. Only 4 coffee cups for 6 adults. Missing wash cloths in Master Bath, found then in the hallway linen closet. Had to buy extra toilet paper. Beds were very comfortable.Host was very good in communication. But our guests, including myself felt we were always being watched while outside since he was a few houses down. We are in our late 60's and all have stayed in Vrbo's before. We cleaned and followed the departing instructions as instructed.

We loved our stay here! The home was very comfortable and easy for my Mom (90) to get everywhere she wanted to be. We enjoyed morning coffee, evening cocktails and even caught a few fish from the shady, comfortable dock.The wildlife was cool too....we saw all kinds of critters. There were 2 cranes that loved to look at themselves in the sliding glass door. So funny and entertaining.

Fabulous home

OMG.., awesome… host, house, location, neighborhood. Grandson wore the fishing out off the pier, fur baby was happy, husband enjoyed sleep number bed and big shower in master, quick drive to baseball field, food, and fun. Will definitely book again if back in the Sanford/Orlando area. Hats off to the Davidsons!

We work through our local church and Teresa has founded "Chains Interrupted" which works locally, nationally and world wide to increase awareness as well as real prevention, rehabilitation and even rescue.
We love to travel and have children in 5 states.

Why they chose this property

When we found this hidden gem on a private water ski lake (Jay is an avid skier), we knew it was the home for us. We like to be close to the Sanford Airport as we travel through there a lot.
We have a second home on this lake (VRBO #2054498) and a third home on the smaller lake in the same neighborhood (VRBO #2422057)
