Our vacation rental is Gold-rated, ground-floor retreat with a West View and just 50 feet from the pool! Perfect for those who prefer to avoid stairs or elevators and be on the first floor! Our rental offers easy access to the beach and both pools. Relax on the patio with your morning coffee or enjoy soaking up the sunshine while enjoying a relaxing moment while on vacation!

Fully Equipped Kitchen: The newly updated kitchen has everything you need for meal preparation during your vacation, complete with modern appliances, cookware, and all the essentials to cook with! Gather around the dining table, which comfortably seats six, and enjoy memorable meals together in the comfort of your home away from home.

Living Room & Private Patio: Unwind in the cozy living area with new furniture and a queen sleeper sofa, perfect for catching up on your favorite shows on the 32” Smart TV, while on vacation in Destin, Florida. Step outside and enjoy sitting on your private patio, favorite drink while enjoying the views of the pool and shuffleboard court.

Bedrooms: Drift into relaxation in the master bedroom, featuring a luxurious king bed with fresh, stylish bedding, a 31" TV, and a DVD player for cozy movie nights in. The guest bedroom provides a tranquil retreat with two twin beds, beautifully accented by modern decor, and an 18" TV with a DVD player for added entertainment. Both bathrooms are thoughtfully designed with tub/shower combos, ensuring convenience and comfort for everyone.

Complimentary Beach Service is provided from March 1 to Oct 31. As a guest at The Islander, you can enjoy (2) complimentary beach chairs and (1) umbrella, each day of your stay! (Valid for stays 14 days or less)

Amenities: At The Islander Resort in Destin, Florida, you can enjoy an active and fun-filled Destin vacation with access to two pools (1-Seasonally Heated), (4) pickleball courts, (2) tennis courts, a half basketball court, and two shuffleboard courts. Fitness Center & Grilling Area: The fitness center, conveniently located next to the lobby just a short stroll away! What a great way to keep up with your workout routine while you are on vacation in Destin. For those looking to savor the fresh catch of the day or grill some delicious burgers, the pavilion and gazebo are equipped with several charcoal grills for guest use.

Children Vacation Activities: During the summer season, we offer a variety of vacation activities for children, ensuring a memorable family vacation experience. Enjoy fun options like glitter tattoos, crafts, dive-in movie nights by the pool, beach painting sessions, and live music around the pool.

Onsite Laundry Room: PLEASE NOTE: Washer & Dryers are NOT provided in every vacation rental; However, Coin Operated washer & dryers are located on premises!

Additional Rules: For a comfortable stay, please note the following guidelines! Smoking is not allowed inside the units or on the patio; however, designated smoking areas are provided for your convenience. We kindly ask that no pets accompany you during your visit. Each unit accommodates a maximum of 6 guests to ensure everyone enjoys their space. An initial supply of paper towels, toiletries, and trash bags is included in the rental. Once these supplies are used, guests will need to restock for the remainder of their stay. Please note Washer & Dryers are not available unless specified!

Great beach

Good location and just a short walk to the beach. It's nice they set up two chairs and an umbrella. The condo was clean and had most amenities. The hot tub wasn't working at one of the pools. The beach could get crowded and some groups would reserve chairs early on the morning and not use them until noon.

The beach isn't just on the other side of the pool, like we thought, but it was a very short walk all on the property's property. We played tennis one day with raquets/balls from the front desk. All was great!

Great customer service but not clean

When first entering our room we say bugs scatter across the floor in the entry way and living room. The issue persisted in the master bathroom. When explaining the issue to the front desk they were very sorry and accommodating to get us into a different room within 10 minutes. Great customer service and great location.

Could use a few items in the kitchen (wooden spoons for mixing and a medium sized frying pan, super small and really big are there). Would be nice to have a "make your twin beds into a king" available, but we will bring our own next year. Everything was clean, except the run in the living room. Really enjoyed the pool/hot tub, pickleball courts easy access to beach.

The beach is convenient, the pools are well maintained and this year we stayed on the first floor and walked right out into the beautiful sunshine, used the lawn to play games, enjoyed the shuffleboard and the pavilion. Everything from the service at the front desk to the best umbrella service on the beach was perfection. There were even extra floats in the storage of this unit for us to enjoy at the beach and our party of six enjoyed every moment.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I gave ourselves a long overdue beach trip. The Islander did not disappoint. The condo was nicely decorated and the bed comfortable. We loved the 2 beach chairs and umbrella included. The hot tub at the pool was heavenly. We had everything we needed to get started; however, please be aware that some items you need to buy or bring with you that other condos supply, i.e., salt/pepper, dishwashing liquid, extra trash bags, etc. They do supply one extra trash bag at bottom of trash cans, 2 dishwasher detergent tabs, small soaps in bath and kitchen, and two rolls of toilet paper in each bath. The rest is up to you. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

My fourth time at the Islander

Unfortunate that at least a few cups of coffee not available in the units anymore. People that fly into the area don’t always rent a car and can’t make it to the store. Otherwise, all was well and I will be back again with my family. We rented 6 units. This is one of 6.
