The place was as listed. The only negative was the living room furniture. Like most vacation properties we stay at, the sofas are usually old and tired.

Great

A comfortable and homely house in a good location with a pretty garden. Jean-Noel is a very friendly and welcoming host. Beautiful nearby countryside and château de Chantilly. Day trip to Paris is easy, parking at Chantilly Gouvieux Station and taking the RER to Paris Nord. We had a lovely week.

A very homely stay

We loved our short stay in this home. It had everything we needed. It is not pristine but has character which we like. Our kids loved the garden and swings and there is a small park around the corner but we didn't visit it. The location is excellent and Senlis is a lovely little town with lots to see. We did a day trip to Paris which was very easy, 20min by car to Chantilly then 25min train to Gard du Nord. We would love to stay again and spend more time in this beautiful house and area.

Our family had a lovely week in Senlis, hosted by Nadège and Jean-Noël. Their communication and welcome was great. The location is ideal for exploring the town, forest and local area, whilst being in a quieter location. The garden space is ideal for relaxing outside and if you have children. It's easy to get to Chantilly for the train into Paris, as well as a short car journey to Parc Asterix. The surrounding forests, gardens and walks are beautiful and recommended. Would happily visit again. Parking was fine, the property had all we needed for self-catering, and there are shutters and a couple of fans should the weather be very hot. The Intermarché Express and town centre with plenty of independant shops are easily walked to in 10-15 minutes.

tout était parfait! Jean-Noel est un hôte parfait.

Mes 3 collègues ont séjourné dans la maison de Jean-Noel, et ils s'y sont parfaitement plû. Leur séjour professionnel s'est trés bien passé. Jean-Noel était très réactif lorsqu'il y avait des questions, toujours prêt à aider. Pour un prochain séjour, j'essaierai de replacer mes collègues chez Jean-Noel. Je recommande vivement la maison de Jean-Noel. Tout simplement parfait! Merci encore pour tout!

Maison individuelle qui correspond à la description. Le jardin et le mobilier qui le composent ne sont pas suffisamment entretenus et n'invitent pas à en profiter. L'absence de barbecue est dommage bien que compréhensible pour des raisons de sécurité. En dehors de cela c'est un bon pied à terre pour une visite du département.

Aufenthalt an einem romantischen Ort

Senlis ist ein wunderbares Städtchen voller romantischer Gäßchen und malerischer Ecken. Dazu kommt eine Umgebung voller Reize - Landschaft, Orte, Geschichte. Es ist vom Haus aus alles fußläufig erreichbar. Der Garten lädt zur Entspannung ein und das Haus enthält alles (und mehr noch), was man braucht. Der Kontakt mit unserem sehr entgegenkommenden Gastgeber trug zu unserer Entspannung bei. Wir waren glücklich.

Comfort viel tegen. De enorme drukte bij de toeristische attracties en de enorme drukte in Senlis zelf hebben ons doen besluiten na 4 dagen naar huis te gaan.

Cosy house in which you feel at home

We've enjoyed our stay in Senlis. The owners of the house are really friendly and when you have a question, you get an answer immediately. The house provides everything you need and is well equiped. The location is perfect. We visited Chantilly, Compiegne etc.. and also cycled a lot. The owners were so friendly to vacate a small shed to park our bikes. The house also is quiet en fresh as the sleeping rooms are on the north side of the house. Why don't we give 5 stars? Because some of the (garden) furniture is a bit old and the carpet in one of the bedrooms needs replacing. But apart from this we really have enjoyed our holiday.

Shabby onderkomen.

Dit vakantiehuis dat voor twee personen ruim genoeg is, viel bij ons niet erg in de smaak. Het aantal positieve recensies heeft ons doen besluiten dit huis te boeken. Wij hebben de indruk dat die recensies over een heel ander huis gaan dan het huis waar wij terecht kwamen. Alles, maar dan ook alles van de inrichting was armetierig, vuil en versleten. Een goedkopere inrichting is zelfs bij een kringloop niet te vinden. Dit geldt ook voor het sanitair en de afwerking ervan. Veel is kapot, verveloos, door vocht aangetast en schimmelig. Zo ook het buitengebeuren. We hebben het niet aangedurfd om op het tuinmeubilair te gaan zitten. Een fatsoenlijke gebruiksaanwijzing van de apparatuur is niet te vinden. Wijnglazen in een Frans huis….ik dacht het niet. Ik wil niet beweren dat de eigenaar onaardig is, maar als je kritiek hebt dreigt hij met juridische stappen. Ach, het zal wel. Misschien is dat de manier om alleen positieve beoordelingen over te houden. Maar dan nog…. Er blijft nog veel niet gezegd. Voor iedereen die gesteld is op enige vorm van luxe is dit onderkomen geen aanrader.
