About this property

Gracious Home w. Pool in Best Neighborhood -- Ansley Park.

[This property is available as a full-month rental for the FIFA World Cup. We gladly work with corporate clients.]

Ansley Park is known for its grand homes, and this home is one of the nicest.

It features generous rooms, 11-foot ceilings, a cook's kitchen, 3 porches, and an attic suite. The house is about 5,000 sq. ft.

The pool and spa are totally private.

The location is very central and is close to Piedmont Park, Georgia Tech, SCAD, High Museum, MARTA (Arts Center), and most of the white-glove law firms.

The ground floor features 5 big rooms. The large entrance foyer opens to the grand staircase. To your right upon entering is the library, which features a wall of built-in bookshelves. To your left upon entering is the formal living room, which then connects to the dining room. Perhaps the grandest room is the kitchen, which has a large island, a big seating area, a Viking stove, and lots of room for entertaining. Also on this floor is a screened-in sitting porch with a hanging bed, a side porch with a gas grill, and a generous Southern front porch. There is a powder room on this floor.

The second floor has 3 bedrooms and three full bathrooms. (One additional room on this floor is used as an owner’s lockup.) Rooms are large and well-lighted. As with the first floor, there are hardwoods throughout.

The fourth bedroom is in the attic. This is a fully updated suite with hardwood floors, skylights, and another full bath.

(There is a basement in-law suite rented long-term to a quiet tenant. It is fully separate and gives out only to the driveway, with no yard or pool access.)

Since these professional photos were taken, some redecorating has occurred, including upgrades to landscaping, walls painted white, and piano replaced by a 55" flat-screen TV with over-the-air and broadband programming (Roku, Netflix, Amazon).

There is parking for two cars in the carport. More cars can be accommodated, if they park in a line down the driveway. [For the FIFA period, an additional garage spot is also available.]

Why they chose this property

This house is from Atlanta's Roaring Twenties. Located close to Peachtree St., which was lined with the grandest mansions, this property is among the best remaining houses from that period.

What makes this property unique

Despite being in the heart of the city, the house offers remarkable privacy. The pool area is totally private, as are the porches.
With its many porches and hanging outdoor bed, the house invites outdoor living. The gas grill makes it easy to cook outside.
In the colder months, the house offers many cozy seating areas.
