It was a great location, in a dead end; no cross traffic. The unit was cute and we found everything what we wanted. The kitchen is well equipped. The bed is comfortable for two. The property owner was very kind and helpful at the same time he was not in our face all the time. We enjoyed our freedom. Overall we rate this property and the time spent in it five stars

Nice stay

Property is exactly as advertised and the apartment was very clean which is important to me. The Lidl and Market are just around the corner. Roger was very communicative, kind, and prompt in responses despite being away from the property. The kitchenette was well outfitted. The apartment was very well located for the D-day festivities. Easy check in and check out. Linens and towels provided. You can’t ask for more!

Perfect stay near the beaches of Normandy

The location was ideal for walking to the fishing port or along the beach walks. We stayed for 10 nights and drove to all the D-Day museums within 2 hours. We were also able to visit Bayeux and Caen for some medieval flavour. The apartment had a well equipped kitchen, a great room with dining and lounge area all in one. There is also an outdoor dining area. The host was very welcoming and made several suggestions for places of interest. Stores, laundry and restaurants can all be reached by walking, with the grocery store being only 500 m away. Really, it was an ideal location for our Normandy holiday. As a bonus, the wifi was very fast and reliable, so we were able to do some work as well.

The property was in a great location to explore the D-Day landing beaches and the Normandy area (we had a rental car). It was near a huge grocery store and the suite was equipped with everything you’d need to make stove top and microwave meals, with plenty of kitchenware, utensils, as well as a drip coffee maker. The host was away during our 6 night stay but had a neighbour on standby and was readily available to communicate with us and even sent a nice message to say he hopes we made it in and have settled into the place on our first night there. We felt like staying here gave us the experience of living a more local-like lifestyle, since the suite was so well-equipped and in a home in a quiet residential neighbourhood. The only downside (unrelated to the place or host) is that the booking platform doesn’t allow the hosts to alter dates according to people’s changing itineraries without cancelling and re-booking entirely; we chose to pay for the cost of a night we didn’t stay for instead of re-booking for 6 nights instead of the original 7 nights, since apparently the cost of the property had gone up in cost since we first booked it and it seemed like a hassle to re-book entirely. On our last day the host did offer us the option to check out as late as we wanted, which was really nice. It was also great to see that the host is diligent about recycling; we had instructions to put our recycling in a big plastic bag while there. Thank you for sharing your home with us Roger!

Bonsoir excellent sejour a courseulles sur mer proprietaire super sympa une gentillesse inoubliable mes filles ne voulais pas repartir pour aller a la mer nous avons mis 30 minute a pied et non pas 15 minute peut etre le faite de marcher avec un enfant vous ne serez pas decu si vous aimer les histoire du debarquement nous avons visiter le musee de juno beach et ouistreham ainsi que le cimetiere americain cetait super je remercie le proprio pour le petit cadeau fait a mes enfants cetait super gentille nous avons sejourner a 4 2 adulte et deux enfant dont une ado il yavais assez de place le studio et bien amenager prenez soin de vous et jespere que vous aurez la chance de voire vos petits enfant

Vacances 2023 très réussies à Courseulles-sur-Mer/Normandie

Séjour et temps très agréables. Propriétaires charmants, toujours prêts à aider et à donner des conseils de visite. Ces 2 semaines nous ont permis de découvrir la région et les plages du débarquement. C’était vraiment très intéressant.

Excellent séjour

Le studio de Roger est spacieux, lumineux (même par temps gris), et convient parfaitement pour 2 à 4 personnes. Propre et entretenu, il y a tout ce qu'il faut pour passer un bon séjour. Roger est très accueillant et nous a renseigné sur les activités du secteur, notamment le marché. La plage est accessible à pied en une quinzaine de minutes, l'occasion de faire une balade digestive après le déjeuner par exemple. La piscine municipale (d'eau de mer) est juste à côté de la plage. Courseulles est une ville très agréable, dynamique et avec beaucoup de visites, d'activités à faire sur Courseulles-sur-Mer et aux alentours. Nous espérons revenir !
