Oceanic Apartment in the 'Heart' of Wrightsville Beach

Oceanside apartment comfortably furnished and well -equipped that is located in the 'heart' of Wrightsville Beach. We do not supply linens you will need to bring your own or rent them from Seaside Linen of Wilmington NC. Top floor apartment will comfortably sleep 6-7 people. Just steps from the beach and the downtown area. The 'walking loop' is just steps away. This is a 3 mile walk around the island. There are tennis courts, basketball courts, play grounds within this loop. Charter fishing boats are available. Cruises on the waterfront are available. The fishing pier is a short walk down the beach. Wilmington's historic district on the river front is a short drive. The aquarium at Ft. Fisher is a short drive. Airlie Gardens is just over the bridge. A new shopping arena has opened 'Mayfaire' just over the bridge with multi-specialty shopping, movie theater. Local churches are within walking distance. Great ocean view from the spacious porch.

This apartment building has been in our family for many years. My children enjoyed growing up at the beach and riding their bikes and playing outdoors in a safe and friendly enviornment. During the peak summer months, we have a life guard at the end of the street on the beach. We wanted to share our vacation place with others as the experience at the beach is so peaceful and relaxing. I truly believe you will have a wonderful stay here.

We had a wonderful stay here! It’s super close to the beach and the main strip of Wrightsville Beach. It was also still quiet at night even though it’s close to the bars. Clay was very communicative as well.

Amazing family vacation

We absolutely loved our stay at Clay's family beach house! My wife and two daughters stayed for a long weekend and it was just exactly what we needed! The location is perfect right in the middle of all the shops, and restaurants and only a short walk to the beach. The rental was perfect for our family and once the kids went to bed we were able to relax on the porch and enjoy the sunset and beach views.... We will definitely be staying here again!

Much needed getaway

This property is just as advertised. Very convenient to restaurants, nightlife and steps to the beach. Parking was nice, the condo and front deck was a relaxing getaway. Owner communication as needed and informative.

About the host

Hosted by Clay Cofer

The family is locals - born and raised on Wrightsville Beach. This property has been a part of the Cofer family for many years. Ed and Paulette are now the owners. Our children actually went to school at Wrightsville Beach elementary and later graduated from UNCW. The boys still live and work here on the beach - it is hard to get that 'ocean fever' out of them!!

Why they chose this property

This apartment building still has the charm of the 'old beach house'. We have updated and remodeled throughout the years but we have tried not to lose the original based feeling that you get when you visit.
