Cottage near Houlton, Maine

Lake front cottage on Pleasant Pond in Island Falls, Maine. Crystal clear water, excellent for swimming and fishing for Landlocked Salmon, Brook Trout and Small mouth bass. Excellent whitetail deer hunting. Easy access on North shore. The camp is fully furnished with 3 bedrooms and a pullout couch. There is satellite T.V. and wireless internet connection.
A canoe and two kayaks are available. There is a Gas grill on the deck and a picnic table, and outdoor fire area. Located two miles away is the beautiful 18 hole Vajowa Golf Course. This is a great location for Zone 11 Moose Hunters. Also, a beautiful spot for Leaf Peepers during fall foliage. There is direct access to four wheeler trails. Day trips to Canada, Mt. Katahdin and Bar Harbor are possible from this spot. We are about 90 minutes from Bangor International Airport.
Make your reservations for winter ice fishing and snowmobiling. Summer rentals are by the week only from Saturday to Saturday. Check in 3 pm, check out 9 am. No smoking inside the cottage.

Pleasant Lake cabin

We visited to enjoy autumn temperatures and fall colors. This cabin was perfect for that. We enjoyed many fire pit fires lakeside. The location was perfect for our day trip drives. There is a local grocery store that has everything you need and more (including adult beverages). The hosts were excellent and very responsive to our requests and questions. Hope to come back!

Pleasant Lake Vacatiom

We enjoyed a great vacation. The cottage was wonderful, just what you might expect. The owners were very nice and extremely friendly. There was even camp wood next to the outdoor fire pit although we didn't have enough time to enjoy it. The xamp is set in a beautiful area of Maine with amazing views from all around tge area. The water is probably the cleanest and most crystal clear that I've ever seen. We cannot wait to return for our next visit!

Property was exactly as advertised. Ample parking for trailer, direct lake access, and very little distance on lake to get to ITS trails. Fuel available on lake!

Perfect Thanksgiving cabin!

Gotta say our first VRBO has spoiled us! Cabin was perfect winter get away for Thanksgiving. Hope to come back in the summer some time! Owners are great and even checked to make sure we were safe coming back during a winter storm one evening. Would highly recommend.
