This is an incredible Villa! The views of Tuscany from this house are amazing. Lia & Marco are great hosts. It is important to note that there are several flights of stairs from the parking area up to the villa. So anyone having mobility issues would be problematic. You should also be aware of the number of stairs to negotiate bringing luggage into the Villa! However the pool was great & Boccheggiano is a quaint village located on a hilltop with a great pizza restaurant.

All in all a very nice accommodation with a very great view.- Nice & clean pool- Family friendly, there are 4 bedrooms- It's an old house and therefore quite dark, but it is technically state-of-the-art- nice, exclusive property located on a hillsideWe enjoyed our stay.

Family stay

Everything was great. The pool was warm. Views are fantastic stretching out to the sea. The town has a good supermarket. Only went to one restaurant, Dell'Upo, but it was good so went back most nights. The hosts were helpful and informative. Planning a return.

Very nice house with peaceful surroundings

The house is very nice. There is lots of room and a nice yard. Good also with children. You can go for a walk in the forest straight from the garden. There is an entrance to the street where you find a cafe. The people of the village are very nice. The owners are very helpful and nice people. They helped us a lot during our stay. We were staying in the house with six children and we had plenty of room. The house is overall excellent.

We (4 adults, 2 children) had a very pleasant stay at Villa Lia in Boccheggiano. Marco and Lia welcomed us warmly and introduced us to the Villa, which is on a stunning location with a magnificent view over the surrounding valleys and oriented to the south. The house is very well equipped. The outside area is large with several terraces and a nice swimming pool with a comfortable temperature of 27C. Boccheggiano is a small and quiet village on the top of a hill (600 m.) and has two nice restaurants and a small supermarket and bakery. Nearby Folonica (40 min. by car) is worthwhile visiting for a day at the beach with lovely beach resorts. The beautiful city of Siena (45 km.) with its famous square, medieval streets and buildings and good restaurants is a must-see.Marco and Lia are ideal hosts, allways ready to help and providing lots of information, and -very important- they respect the privacy of their guests. We highly recommend Villa Lia.

Das Haus, die Vermieter und die Umgebung waren einfach perfekt. Traumhafter Blick über das Land bis hin zur Insel Elba. Besonders schön fanden wir den großen, terassenartigen Garten, der mit vielen Rückzugs- und auch Spielmöglichkeiten ausgestattet war. Dass der Pool quasi in seinem eigenen Häuschen mit viel Glas und unter Dach war, stellte sich als großer Vorteil heraus: Pool war immer sauber und hatte auch abends, wenn es kühl wurde, immer die richtige Temperatur. Das Haus war aufgrund der dicken Wände auch ohne Klimaanlage immer schön kühl. Das Dorf hat ausreichend Infrastruktur, um nicht ständig längere Strecken für Einkäufe oder Restaurants/Bars unternehmen zu müssen. Die Vermieter waren sehr nett und flexibel. Wir konnten an unserem Anreisetag auch schon früher kommen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wir waren in den ersten beiden Augustwochen in der Villa Lia und waren sehr beeindruckt vom Anwesen. Sehr weitläufig und alles umzäunt, damit der Hund einfach springen kann. Leider war es zu diesem Zeitpunkt sehr heiß dort (34-42Grad), was auch im Haus, obwohl dicker Mauer, mit 27/28 Grad bemerkbar war. Es gab aber Ventilatoren für die Schlafräume. Da kam das Schwimmbad/der Pool seeehr gelegen. Er war wirklich das Highlight und die Kinder nutzten das Angebot mehrmals täglich. Auch die Reinigung 2 X /Woche wurde mit dem Besitzer Mario bzw. Lia per Telefon oder WhatsApp kommuniziert und hat wunderbar geklappt. Generell war die Kommunikation mit beiden sehr gut und schnell. Sie waren beide sehr freundlich und schickten uns auch Termine für Veranstaltungen etc.Ein SlowFood Restaurant sowie eine Pizzeria sind fußläufig wunderbar in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Genauso wie der Supermarkt und auch die kleine Snack-bar daneben, wo es für wenig Geld Kaffee und Croissants etc. gibt...lohnt sich für ein Frühstück oder Snack.Die nächsten Supermärkte sind in Massa Marittima (mit schönen kleinen Läden)das, wenn man sich an die Geschwindigkeitsbegrenzung hält, in ca. 25 min. zu erreichen ist. Der Strand, auch für Hunde, und Lidl, ist in Follonica, den man in ca. 40 min. erreicht. Die Wege sind also etwas länger, aber machbar.Einen herzlichen Dank und Gruß an Mario & Lia, es hat uns gut gefallen. Macht's gut, lG Familie Haas.

Una villa stupenda per passare delle vacanze tranquille in mezzo alla natura Toscana. Non c'è niente che non ci sia piaciuto, c'era tutto e anche di più. E i nostri cani si sono sentiti a casa fin da subito. Bellissimo!

Es war ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt! Das Haus ist beeindruckend und die Lage ist traumhaft. Auch der Pool ist wunderschön. Insbesondere für Kinder ist das gesamte Grundstück ein Traum! Auch die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Ort Boccheggiano ist bezaubernd. Außerdem bekommt man alles, was man braucht - insbesondere Bäcker und Metzger sind zu empfehlen.Einziges Manko war die schlecht bis gar nicht funktionierende Spülmaschine, die mittlerweile hoffentlich repariert wurde. Kleiner Hinweis: In der Küche gibt es nur sehr wenig Grundausstattung (Spülmittel, Spüma-Tabs und Küchenrolle), aber gar keine Lebensmittel (bspw. Salz, Zucker, Gewürze, Öl, etc.), wie das in so vielen Unterkünften der Fall ist. Ist nicht schlimm, aber man kann sich besser vorbereiten, wenn man es vorher weiß. Koch- und Essgeschirr ist aber vollumfänglich vorhanden.Wir können die Unterkunft in jedem Fall für alle, die alte Häuser und eine abgeschiedene Lage mögen, weiterempfehlen!

Een prachtig gelegen huis bovenop de top van het dorp Boccheggiano. Vanuit het terras met de druivenranken heb je een adembenemend uitzicht. Je kunt hier s'morgens heerlijk ontbijten. Het huis is authentiek, gezellig. Een heerlijk zwembad waar je gebruik van kon maken. Om de 3 à 4 dagen werd het zwembad gecontroleerd door de huiseigenaar. Hij was ook heel geïnteresseerd en vertelde ook wat je sowieso moest gaan zien, bv San Galgano de kerk zonder dak. Idd een aanrader. Wat ook een leuke stad is Piënza. Er is een bakkerij met een loopafstand van nog geen 5 min er vandaan. Er is een Pizzeria La Tana Dell'Upo met als eigenaar Gabriël die heerlijke gerechten maakt. Een aanrader, gezellige sfeer met als afsluiter een limoncello. La Ciottona is ook een fantastisch restaurant. Heerlijk eten en fantastische wijn. We hebben een leuke en mooie tijd gehad. Dank je wel.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in Villa Lia. Die Unterkunft ist gut ausgestattet und hat sein ganz eigenen Charme. Besonders hervorzuheben sind der Pool, der Kamin und die vielen Ebenen auf den Terrassen, auf denen man sich den besten Platz in der Sonne oder eben im Schatten aussuchen kann.Die Gastgeber Marco und Lia waren sehr freundlich, immer erreichbar und sehr bemüht, dass es uns an nichts fehlt.Da die Unterkunft in einem kleinen Ort oben auf dem Berg liegt, ist die Aussicht fantastisch. Man kann noch das Meer und die Insel Elba in der Ferne sehen und bei guten Sichtverhältnissen, sogar die Insel Korsika. Alles in allem, ist das Gesamtpaket: Lage, Unterkunft, Charme, Aussicht und ganz besonders die Gastgeber absolut zu empfehlen - wir kommen gern wieder!

Der Empfang der Vermieter war sehr freundlich, die Übergabe des Hauses perfekt. Das Haus hat uns gut gefallen, die Ausstattung war zwar einfach, bot aber alles, was man für den täglichen Bedarf benötigt. Das überdachte Schwimmbad war von Vorteil, da es manchmal recht kühl werden konnte. Alles in allem haben wir den Aufenthalt genossen.

Traumhaft schön

Das Haus ist ein kleines Juwel in dem netten Bergdord Boccheggiano. Die Gastgeber waren super nett. Das Haus und die Anlage ist gepflegt. Der Pool ist wunderbar. Die Terrasse mit dem herrlichen Ausblick ist einfach gigantisch. Nur die Zufahrt ist etwas abenteuerlich. Nicht für sehr breite SUVs oder tiefergelegte PKWs! Ich würde jederzeit wieder dorthin fahren.

Erholsame Ferien

Freundlicher Empfang der Gastgeber Lia & Marco. Charmante Villa mit toller Aussicht und gedecktem Schwimmbad. Drei sehr gute Restaurants, eine Bäckerei und ein Dorfladen sind zu Fuss in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Mit dem Auto ist das Meer in 50 Minuten erreichbar. Das alles war ein Genuss und Erholung!

Wundervoll

Von der Terrasse hat man einen wunderschönen Ausblick und noch schönere Sonnenuntergänge. Das Haus und die Ausstattung wie beschrieben. Alles sehr organisiert. Der Pool ist sehr schön und wird jeden 2.-3. Tag vom Eigentümer überprüft und gereinigt. Wir waren eine Gruppe von 7 Erwachsene im reifen Alter. Alle waren vom Haus, Garten, Ausstattung und vom Ort begeistert. Im Ort kann man fußläufig im kleinen Supermarkt alles fürs tägliche Leben besorgen. Ein Bäcker, eine kl. Restaurant, sowie eine Pizzeria sind vorhanden und gut. Die Eigentümer sind sehr hilfsbereit und haben am Sonntag in der Nacht für uns den Notarzt gerufen. Herzlichen Dank nochmals dafür! Unterkunft ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Wunderschöner Urlaub in tollem Haus

Der Aufenthalt in der Villa Lia hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt, sauber und wohnlich und wir haben nichts vermisst. Die Lage ist wunderbar und das große Grundstück bietet viele Möglichkeiten für Ruhe oder Aktivität wie Tischtennis und Schwimmen. Der überdachte Pool ist ebenfalls schön angelegt und wird immer sauber gehalten. Insgesamt ist die Villa Lia ein fantastischer Ort um in der Toskana einen entspannten Urlaub zu verbringen.

Familienurlaub

Wir waren sieben Personen, drei Kinder, Eltern und Großeltern. Ideales Quartier mit dem Pool zu Beschäftigung der Kindern und auch zur eigenen Erfrischung. Gastgeber sehr entgegenkommend und freundlich. Lage in diesem heißen Juli ideal, meistens ein erfrischendes Windl und wesentlich kühler als im Tal. Sehr guter Bäcker 3 min. entfernt und gutes Alimentari 2 min. weiter mit eigener Metzgerei, also alles Wesentliche lies sich zu Fuß einkaufen. Einmal die Woche (Dienstag) kommt ein Obst- und Gemüsehändler mit seinem Stand ins Dorf. Kleines Spitzenrestaurant 2 min. entfernt. Das Haus angenehm kühl bei bis zu 37° Mittagstemperatur die wir hatten. Schöne Zimmer und viel Rückzugsplatz im Außenbereich, Parkplatz auf eigenem Grund. Netter lieber kleiner Ort auf dem Gipfel des kleinen Berges. Wenn wir gesund bleiben, kommen wir wieder.

C'était très reposant et tranquille on est un peu loin des grandes villes

Très satisfait tres calme reposant c'est dommage que la piscine soit fermé on en profite moins et il faut beaucoup prendre la voiture si on veut bouger un peu et allez a la plage sinon le village est très agréable mais je n'irais plus avec des ados
