Hello Shafiq, You and your family arrived during an exceptional heatwave. You alerted me to the existence of incorrect information on the Abritel-VRBO website regarding air conditioning. I immediately took the necessary steps to have this error corrected in my listing. I was also careful to respond quickly to your expectations and for your satisfaction. Furthermore, our cottage does not offer hotel-style cleaning and laundry services during your stay, as you would have requested. However, I offered to come mid-stay to do this. As with all cottages, guests remain responsible for cleaning and maintaining the cottage during their stay, ensuring that the property is left in a satisfactory condition upon departure—which, unfortunately, was not the case this time. I am, however, glad that you enjoyed your stay.

Lovely style property. Owner very helpful. We were 7 people over 75. Age. Our only complaint was no wardrobes. For hanging dresses. And bed linen a bit tired. And beds. Otherwise lovely.

If you are looking for a large Villa with good amenities ... here it is! We stayed early June . So it seemed to me that not all local amenities were still not open.

Great vacation

We were a party of 6 60+. The house has everything you need. From pool, jeux de boules playfield, and kids games etc. The reception from Christophe was excellent. The nearby bakery gave us every morning fresh bread.

We stayed with 9 members of our family for a week. The villa was beautiful in a stunning setting and very conveniently located with the Boulangerie at the end of the road open 6 days a week. Bergerac and the supermarkets were only 5 minutes drive away. The facilities at the Villa were great and it was well stocked. The pool is one of the best we have had and a nice size very well kept. There is a fantastic array of games and our sons particularly enjoyed the pool table playing every day. The host Christophe was very welcoming and quick to respond to any problems we had. The restaurant recommendations are excellent and we really enjoyed 2 meals at the Bistro du Clocher. All in all a very enjoyable holiday in a villa I would have no hesitation in recommending to anyone.

Pool cover needed to stop the mice drowning every day ,there was one but it doesn’t get used also the change of bedding is once a fortnight lost of dust and cobwebs beds uncomfortable lighting is poor spa shower and spa bath doesn’t work the aqua bike is missing when asked is broken all not as listed

I'm sorry for this long response, but your comments call for a detailed response. It is true that you found small field mice that had drowned in the pool... but in 15 days it was only 2 or 3 times at most, but not every day as you reported here... be aware that this can happen, we are in the countryside, right next to a vineyard. For the pool cover, you are mistaken, it is a winter cover to be used only after treatment and closing the pool in winter... so not for use in summer. The cleaning was done carefully before your arrival, dust and cobwebs included. Now, in 15 days, it is not surprising that the spiders and dust come back! Cleaning and changing bed linen during a stay are not included in your stay fees. You also mention a spa bath, but again you are mistaken because my cottage is not equipped with one, and for the shower it was enough to plug in the electrical outlet if it had been unplugged to activate the jets. Now regarding the aquabike, it is true that I replied to you that I had found it with a broken resistance fin on one of the pedals. This is why, as I explained to you, it was preferable to remove it to avoid any injury that it could have caused you, or also damage the pool liner. Finally, regarding the lighting and the comfort of the beds... it is at your discretion. However, upon your departure, I am happy that you told me that everything went well and that you were happy with your stay. Thank you again

Disappointing

Although the area is stunning and house is nice, there were a few things that we were not told about before our stay. First and most important was the building work next door. A villa is being built and was very noisy from Monday to Friday which made it almost impossible to stay around the lovely swimming pool and we had to go out most days. Also the room with the car beds is NOT A ROOM but an mezzanine with slopped roof and is not suitable for sleeping. It only contained two single beds but you were unable to stand up. Although this house looked clean, on closer inspection it wasn't. It really needs new beds and bedding and hanging rails in all rooms for your clothes. The guy who owns the house is really nice but we found that his attendance at the villa every day was intrusive.

Comme je vous l'ai dit lors de votre séjour, tout le gros oeuvre de la maison voisine est terminé depuis l'année dernière. Les ouvriers travaillent à l'intérieur depuis des mois déjà... rien ne pouvait me laisser prévoir qu'ils feraient des travaux de terrassement pour les assainissement. J'en conviens, cette semaine a été très bruyante, mes vacanciers précédent ont trouvé eux, l'environnement très calme, et tout est revenu dans l'ordre après votre séjour. J'en suis désolé, mais je ne peux pas être tenu responsable du bruit exceptionnellement causé par mon voisinage. Il est vrai que la chambre en mezzanine est tout à fait adaptée aux jeunes avec les "lits voitures", mais aussi aux adultes car bon couchage (avis partagé aussi par mes vacanciers). Enfin, pour assurer à mes vacanciers d'avoir une eau claire dans la piscine, je vous avais annoncé à votre arrivée que je viendrai chaque jour nettoyer le système de filtration de la piscine... une visite de 5min. qui ne me semblait pas vous avoir dérangé. Si tel était le cas je m'en excuse, mais vous auriez dû m'en parler lors de votre séjour, j'aurais alors organisé mon passage de façon à ne pas vous perturber. C'est bien dommage de me le dire qu'après ! En tous les cas, j'ai été heureux de vous accueillir et que ayez apprécié votre séjour tout de même, mis à part les travaux de voisinage.

Tres bon week-end entre amis

Un séjour tres agréable dans cette maison où chacun peut s’isoler si il le souhaite , mais j’avoue que nous avons passé la plupart du temps entre veranda et bord de piscine :) l’équipement (vaisselle, plats, rangements …) est adapté pour 10personnes ce qui est à souligner. Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir

Vacances au cœur des vignes

Nous avons passés un superbe séjour au cœur des vignes de monbazillac Logés dans une villa tout confort. Ave de multiples équipements intérieur ( baby foot, billard, fléchettes, jeu de société etc.. ) Mais également extérieurs ( terrain de badminton, terrain de pétanque, etc … ) bien évidement en plus de la piscine. De plus, la localisation est idéale ! Au calme, mais proche des commerces ainsi que des restaurants et de bergerac. Le propriétaire est également tres gentil et aux bons soins de ses locataires. Bref ! Nous reviendrons !
