Location! Location! Location! Fishing Bachelor party
We had a bachelor party setup for a group of guys that initially involved an overnight camping trip on tuesday/wedensday, followed by a stay at this house on wednesday/thursday. Mother nature forced us to cancel our overnight fishing trip, so I promptly called and booked an extra night at the house for the day BEFORE our initial arrival. The home was available, and adding a night to the booking was quick and painless.
Upon arrival, first impressions were good - the unit we stayed in was the last one on the road before hitting the beach - literally a couple hundred yards from Whitecap beach, as close as we could get at this unit. The grounds were neat and well kept, the outside of our particular unit was clean and presentable. The units receive direct seaspray all year long, so you can't expect perfection - but it is maintained and cared for, and it shows well.
When trying to check-in and use the electronic lock on the door, our code didn't work. I used the text messaging service through the Vacasa App, and received a quick updated entry code (within 3min). The new code worked and we were in the home. The inside was clean, well equipped, and up to date. We were very happy with the home, both inside and out.
The garage was great for storing our fishing/beach gear!
If I had one suggestion to the owners/managers, I would recommend floor mats at the entries to try and prevent some of the sand from getting into the home. Otherwise, great place and will book again!
