In the middle of nature in the heart of the southern Ardèche at the confluence of the Ardéche and the Chassezac, an independent gite refurbished with all comfort in a Mas on three levels, 5000m2 of terraced land, and pine forest with a beautiful dominant view, with its badminton, table tennis, swimming pool and pool house ideally located 7 km from Ruoms and 14 km from Vallon Pont D'Arc (canoe descent, kayaking on the Ardèche), 15 km from the Chassezac gorges (ideal for descending family canoeing) for the joys of swimming in the river. A few steps from the village with its small shops, restaurants. On site hiking, Greenway mountain biking, Bicycles. Golf (9 holes), tree climbing. Equipped kitchen, Air-conditioned living room with large screen TV, D.VD recorder player, Wifi dining area. a master bedroom with 160x200 bed with bathroom, w. c independent. One bedroom with 90x200 or 180x200 beds, one bedroom with a 140 bed. Wonderful stay in the Ardeche

We had a wonderful week in the house. The house was exceptionally well equipped and appointed with very comfy beds. The pool area is wonderful with amazing views- the photos don’t do it justice. We used the outdoor kitchen every day and was one of our favourite features of the house. We loved the location, very close to the village where we got croissants for breakfast each morning. We also tried one of the restaurants in the village which was very good. Our daughter loved the beaches at the Pont D’Arc and also Adventure camp- an outdoor playground and ropes course with areas suitable for all ages- about a 5 minute drive from the house. Patrick and Chantal were great hosts and whilst next door, it still felt very private. We can’t wait to come back.

Fantastic!

What a super time we had in Grospierres. Every need catered for. Any problems addressed (sometimes through Google Translate, others my limited French was sufficient!) The area was so peaceful and wasn’t overlooked by anyone. Patrick set up the outside area every morning, other than that, we never saw him or Chantal, unless we needed to. The gite is comprehensively equipped with everything thought about. It is tastefully decorated with both modern and traditional fittings. The locality has numerous activities such as canoeing, paintball, fishing, wine tasting, hiking, cycling, canyoning, the list goes on. Fantastic hosts, fantastic location, fantastic accommodation, fantastic! Thank you Patrick and Chantal!

We absolutely fell in love with this property. It was spectacular. Absolutely immaculate, breathtaking views and every detail thought of by the owners. I have never experienced such a perfectly clean pool.The owners were available immediately if any issues, but equally so discrete you wouldn't even know they were there. Excellentes prestations pour ce gîte haut de gamme situé dans un espace naturel préservé et très calme. L'espace extérieur avec la piscine, la cuisine d'été et les différents coins repas/détente sont idéaux pour profiter pleinement du séjour. Les propriétaires sont très cordiaux et particulièrement serviables.Le gîte est encore beaucoup mieux que ce que les photos du site suggèrent. A l'arrivée, la propreté était impeccable et toutes les prestations mentionnées étaient conformes.En conclusion, excellent séjour, à conseiller tout particulièrement.

Een fantastisch huis halverwege een heuvel, prachtig uitzicht, erg mmoie omgeving waar van alles te doen is. Gastheer en gastvrouw super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Zoals het huis beschreven is en de foto's is het ook in het echt! Een dikke 10!

Logement formidable au coeur de l’Ardèche

Notre séjour fut exceptionnel, au delà de nos espérances. D’une propreté irréprochable, l’intérieur de la maison est équipé de façon pratique et complète (la cuisine est très ergonomique). La literie est très confortable et les chambres agréablement disposées, laissant l’intimité nécessaire à chaque couple (2 sdb bien séparées). La piscine est tout simplement parfaite, à côté de la cuisine extérieure et face aux montagne, nous y avons passé de longs moments de détente pour des vacances réussies (entretien effectué chaque matin à l’aube pour notre plus grand bonheur !) Le terrain de pétanque et la table de ping pong nous ont également permis de profiter de la semaine comme il se doit (équipements de qualité fournis en quantité nécessaire). Les propriétaires sont par ailleurs très sympathiques, présents si besoin et discrets. Nous recommandons à 200% pour passer d’excellentes vacances ! Encore merci pour tout !

Parfaitement équipée et paisible

La maison a répondu à l'ensemble de nos attentes. La vue est magnifique et la cuisine extérieure est parfaite pour tous les repas. La maison est bien équipée, au calme et les propriétaires sont disponibles en étant totalement discret. Toutes les chambres nécessitent d’utiliser les escaliers mais peu gênant pour nous étant 3 couples adultes sans personnes âgées. La climatisation au salon permet de rafraichir la maison et était nécessaire sur cette période. Merci aux propriétaires, nous rééditerons surement l’expérience.

Magnifique séjour

Nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous immédiatement et le gite est vraiment bien équipé et les propriétaires très gentils et attentionnés. Il n’y a aucun vis-à-vis donc une maison ou l’ on se sent vraiment bien et ou la vie privée est préservée.Nous y reviendrons sans doute, car nous avons vécu une très belle semaine.Grospierres est un village très sympathique. Merci encore pour cette belle expérience!

Magnifique

Nous avons passé une semaine reposante au sein de cette magnifique villa décorée avec goût et raffinement. Accueil chaleureux des propriétaires, charmants et discrets durant tout notre séjour. La piscine est très belle et bien entretenue et la cuisine d’été, l’endroit de prédilection à tous les moments de la journée. Excellente literie. La cerise sur le gâteau: la vue panoramique sur les montagnes ardéchoises! Tout est mis à disposition pour passer un séjour de rêve: terrain de pétanque, table de Ping Pong, vélos ... Nous reviendrons....

A wonderful villa !!

We have just returned from a weeks stay at the villa. We travelled with 3 children aged 3, 11 and 15. The villa was perfect for us all. The villa exceeded our expectations in many ways. The inside was immaculate, had plenty of space and fully equipped. Outside however was simply amazing ! The pool was fantastic ( we loved the shelved entree which was great for young children and also adults to sit and chill ). The outside kitchen and surrounding pool area was a major bonus. We used this for the whole week and it gave us real opportunity for great family time. To top all this off the Boule area, table tennis, bikes, badminton, hammock etc were all very useful for us all. The owners live next door and we’re extremely helpful with any queries. Although next door they were definitely not intrusive and we didn’t realise they were there most of the time. The villa is just under 2km from the local supermarket, couple of nice bars and restaurants. The 4 bikes were ideal for this if you fancy it. Some great activities close to the local area included high ropes, karting, quad biking, pony riding and off course kayaking down the ardeche which was less than 10 miles away and very easy to book online with many companies. We would highly recommend this villa and will hopefully return at some stage.

Endroit idyllique idéalement situé

Demeure très agréable, de tres belle qualité et décorée avec beaucoup de goût. Les propriétaires, tres accueillants, habitent juste à côté mais savent rester très discrets, nous ne les avons pas vus du séjour et il n y a aucun vis à vis. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre sejour et je recommande les yeux fermés cette location.

Une oasis de calme

Un séjour formidable en pleine nature. Nous avons tout particulièrement apprécié le confort et la décoration de l'habitation, les aménagements très pratiques notamment la cuisine extérieure, la beauté du jardin avec ses lauriers en fleur, la piscine bien sûr, ainsi que l'accueil chaleureux des propriétaires. Une adresse vivement conseillée pour une déconnexion totale.

Une Magnifique Semaine en Ardèche

Nous avons passé une magnifique semaine en Ardèche grace notamment aux conseils des propriétaires (marches, coin à visiter,...) La maison est très agréable, bien équipée, et au calme. Séjour parfait !

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour. La maison est spacieuse, très propre et très bien équipée. Nous avons adoré la cuisine d'été et sa terrasse donnant sur la piscine avec une vue magnifique. La villa est idéalement située, nous avons pu visiter de magnifiques villages, nous baigner dans des endroits idylliques sans jamais faire plus d'une demie heure de route. Les propriétaires sont adorables et nous avons appréciés leurs différentes attentions à notre égard. Nous espérons pouvoir revenir !!!

Superbe séjour dans un endroit magique tout confort, accueil très agréable !

Un grand merci à nos hôtes Chantal et Patrick, pour ce superbe séjour dans leur magnifique demeure, tout confort, avec cette belle piscine et la cuisine d’été très agréable dont nous avons pu si bien profiter ! Les photos de l’annonce révèlent bien le charme du lieu mais nous avons été encore plus agréablement surpris en arrivant car c’est encore plus beau en vrai ! Chantal et Patrick sont très attentifs au bien-être de leurs hôtes et c’est vraiment super de se sentir comme chez soi, avec toutes les petites attentions discrètes qu’ils ont pu ajoutés ici ou là au fil du temps, choses que l’on n’en retrouve pas en général dans un gite de location. Au bout d’un chemin en marge d’un village calme, il fait bon se reposer, les commodités n’étant pourtant pas loin du tout, c’est idealement situé et c’est un vrai havre de paix. Nous sommes enchantés de notre séjour et ne manqueront pas de revenir tellement nous avons apprécié. Encore un grand merci.
