About the host
Hosted by Teri

I really enjoy being a host for our families vacation rental. My kids who have grown up spending time at the Lodge and other friends and family still say it's some of the most memorable vacation family time we have all spent together. This is a 1985 Rustic Lodge that is clean and relaxing. We do have white sheets; however; we have lighter bathroom towels as this is a time for adventure and fun. Walks, Hot Springs, ATV'ing, hikes, horse back riding, water rafting, zip lining, pond play, and many other adventures that children love and you don't have to worry about coming in to to get any "White Couches" dirty making it easier to let the kids be kids. We ask that you treat our family home like you would your own; however, it's a lived in and comfortable experience where kids can be kids in a family unit and all together making memories.
Why they chose this property
My Parents purchased this property in 1963. At that time there was a tiny little two bedroom house with a slab for a small trailer. My Parents built the Lodge in 1985 as a family get away from the hustle and bustle of the City. If you are looking for the "Ritz”; this may not be your thing. But, if you are looking for a large open space in a semi-secluded location surrounded by countless activities and adventures; this is the place to be.
What makes this property unique
Our Lodge has 10 bedrooms and 12 bathrooms. Every bedroom has its own bathroom with two additional bathrooms located in the Grand Room for convenience. We have adventures all around us as we are centrally located to so many out door activities. However, for those who would just like to spend quality time together with the basics like playing games, cards, playing in the back yard or splashing around in the pond, and grassy area... this might just be what you are looking for. Although we have a working pond; the water level is always at least half filled to full at all times during Spring and Summer Season.
