About this property

The Hatmaker’s House

How about a Fall/Winter get away with griends or Family. This clean, peaceful and bright four bedroom house on a quiet court is awaiting your arrival. This house has several spots to relax indoors and outdoors. It has an open concept kitchen to cook in which is open to a dinning room table that seats ten people and a living room with a gas fireplace to relax by. The backyard is very large, private, quiet and fenced in. This spot is extremely well located. It is a five minute walk to the University, food shopping, restaurants and a pharmacy is just outside the Court. The Mall, downtown, hiking and skiing trails are all within a 15 to 35 minute walk. There are several great restaurants to walk to near my house. Manhattan’s is my favorite as it’s close and it has live Jazz music.

Large and comfy!

We came for the weekend to go tubing the Elora Gorge. Great house, nicely decorated, comfortable beds. Great stay!

Haymaker’s House for wedding weekend

6 of us stayed at Kim’s place for three nights to attend my daughters wedding. The place was perfect. It is centrally centrally located, and includes a lovely large backyard.

The house was beautiful, exactly as described in the pictures. Kim was great about responding quickly to any questions we had. Check-in and out processes were very simple and easy. We all had a great time!

This house met all of our expectations. Three couples and a single fit very nicely into this home. Interestingly over decorated and wouldn’t necessarily be recommended for young children Our host Kim communicated well with me and all worked well

Stay with family

Our stay at Kim’s place was like visiting an old friend with lots of stories to tell. Although we didn’t see Kim, her place was full of unique items and decor that begged to tell a story. She provided anything we needed, offered to make up the pullout couch for us and left special touches that made us feel welcome. Thank you Kim!

Beautiful house close to r great food and dessert and close to campus.

7 adults and needed a place to stay for a conference at the University of Guelph. The house was very large with many amenities. The beds were huge and super comfortable. Walking to campus was a quick 15 min walk and British pub, amazing dessert place, grocery’s, and good ethnic food were across the street so super convenient if you wanted to go out to eat or grab snacks. Host was very helpful and quickly responded to any questions we had. Internet worked great and the little touches such as the rain shower were an added bonus. Thoroughly enjoyed the visit. Thanks again!

Beautiful Home - Great Location

The house was beautiful and full of character making it feel like a home. My immediate family stayed at the house during our wedding weekend. They had a lovely stay and there was plenty of space to both get together as a family, and to have our own space. The house was clean and well stocked. It was in a great location and super useful for those without access to a vehicle as it was close to a grocery stores, restaurants, many other amenities, and the university. The host was wonderful and made sure the place was ready for us. They were very accommodating and quick to reply with any updates. Thank you so much Kim!

Perfect in every way!

We were in the area to attend a family wedding. The house was so uniquely decorated and so well equipped. The location was excellent. Kim was so easy to get ahold of and responded to each request quickly. I would highly recommend her house for a stay away from home.

Great second stay…

This was our second time staying at this property, as we love the location and the house is perfect for our family of 4. Kim is very responsive, and keeps the house very tidy and welcoming for the guests. Looking forward to staying here again next time we’re back.

Perfect house!

This was the perfect place for our family to celebrate our daughter’s accomplishments at OVC. Close to the university and lots of room for all of us including the family dog.

Perfect for a Family Stay

This is a beautiful home full of comfort and extra touches. Perfect for a large family. Plenty of room for entertaining. Incredibly well stocked and so comfortable. A large yard, The location is perfect. We would stay again.
