This clean, peaceful and bright four bedroom house on a quiet court is awaiting your arrival. This house has several spots to relax indoors and outdoors which makes it perfect for spending time with loved ones. It has an open concept kitchen to cook in which is open to a dinning room table that seats ten people and a living room with a gas fireplace to relax by. The backyard is very large, private, quiet and fenced in with outdoor seating for ten. This spot is extremely well located. It is a five minute walk to the University, food shopping, restaurants and a pharmacy is just outside the Court. The Mall, downtown, hiking and hiking/cross country ski trails are all within a 15 to 35 minute walk. There are several great restaurants to walk to near my house. Manhattan’s is my favorite as it’s close and it has live Jazz music. This house has two apartments in the basement. I live in one apartment part time. They are completely separate with an entrance off the front of the house. Although the house is shared it’s very private for the guests and many times we don’t see each other. The heating and air conditioning are shared so temperatures must be moderate. There are three outdoor cameras on the property. These are for your security as well as mine. There is one overlooking the cars which is activated by the porch light. Please leave this on overnight. Unfortunately with a tough economy the cars have been broken into in this court. Please make sure to lock your vehicles at all times. The cameras help detour theft and allow me to see when my guests arrive and leave.

About the host
Hosted by Kim Steeves
I moved from Toronto to Guelph to teach the men’s hat manufacturing company (Biltmore) how to make ladies Hats. Since I have retired from hat making but I still enjoy my tools which I have displayed in the house. I work part time gardening for others. You will see my love of gardening on my property.
Why they chose this property
I really enjoy the peace and quiet in my backyard. It’s amazing how quiet it is and yet it’s so close to anything one needs.
What makes this property unique
My property is unique in town. I have a large home which is situated close the University. It accommodates many people with an open style entertaining space. Many families have come together in my house and truly enjoyed the space. With four bedrooms it’s also ideal for businesses to rent for employees or visiting guests. The experience sure beats staying in a hotel!
