About this property

Eagle Creek | Pet Friendly, Porch, Hot Tub

Eagle Creek is a simple cabin with all the comforts of home and a wrap-around porch that will make you want to stay a little longer. Visit nearby Gatlinburg or the Great Smoky Mountains, and rest in the peace and quiet of your cabin in the woods.

Step into the living room at Eagle Creek and take a look at the gorgeous wood beams and paneled ceiling. The living room, kitchen, and loft are all open to each other and the vaulted ceilings give a wonderful, spacious feel. The couch and loveseat are inviting and the HD Smart TV with Blu-Ray player is available when you want to kick back and watch a movie.

The family style, eat-in kitchen has plenty of room to have multiple people in and out at once. You’ll find all of the cookware and dishes you’ll need and lots of counter space for meal prep. Meals at Eagle Creek are easy to serve and clean up since the dining area in essentially in the huge kitchen. Six can sit comfortably around the dining table with a view of the porch and the woods beyond through sliding glass doors.

At Eagle Creek, the amazing wrap-around porch is where the magic happens! You may want to schedule a day at least just to hang out, listen to the water run through the creek, and watch for your woodland animal neighbors to appear. There are also a peaceful porch swing, rocking chairs, and gas grill available for you to enjoy. Your furry loved ones will relish the enclosed yard, providing ample space for them to frolic and engage in play.

The first floor primary bedroom is a respite after a long day out and about in Gatlinburg. Curl up under the bear-themed bedspread and find something to watch on the HDTV. The second bedroom is upstairs adjacent to the loft family room, offering lots of privacy for both bedrooms. It’s a great arrangement for two families vacationing together, or to give children an area of their own. The upstairs bedroom has a comfortable queen bed, and the loft can be used as a third bedroom by pulling the sofa out into a queen bed. Both beds will be beautifully made with fresh sheets before your arrival, and there are linens available for the sofa bed.

The full bathroom is downstairs next to the kitchen and close to both the living room and primary bedroom. You’ll appreciate the extra elbow room, and the tub and shower combination is perfect for children and adults. There is a lovely half bath upstairs to cut down on trips down the stairs or a bathroom waiting list. Plenty of towels are provided for you in each of the bathrooms. Travel with minimal belongings since a washer and dryer are available for use.

If hiking and nature excursion are what you came for, you could spend day after day exploring new areas of the nearby Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Weekend in the hills
Great escape for our family including our dogs! We hope to return next year for a longer stay! So many things to do in the area! We loved that Eagle Creek was hidden away from the hustle and bustle of things, but just a short drive to everything!!!!

Unique Property
This is a great place to feel like you are truly away from it all. My husband described it best.. this is a wooded cabin, not a mountain cabin. Do not rely on internet access or your phone to stay connected as neither had strong signals (sometimes none). It was a perfect property for our dogs as the fenced area allowed them freedom and they enjoyed frolicking in the creek that runs through the property. We did see multiple bears, some very large so be sure to be vigilent with your pets ( the bears are not aggressive and would alter their path upon discovery of us/dogs). I would also discourage wandering the path behind the property. There is another cabin and it is clear that wanderers are not welcome! With that said, the cabin is clean, well stocked and a wonderful plave to unplug and take in nature and truly unwind!

Relaxing Mtn Cabin
Overall we really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was at the end of a road in a little valley, so it was more secluded than most properties we passed on our drive in. The cabin could use a deep cleaning, the dog odor was very strong and the floors throughout were very loud when walking across…. So if you plan on putting anyone in the loft to sleep- make sure they’re the last to go to bed, there’s no tip-toeing around. Those things were bothersome but we were able to overlook them as we didn’t spend the majority of our time inside. The porch and outdoor area were amazing and we even had a couple bear visitors (from a safe distance)! Would stay again.

Great family cabin outside Gatlinburg
It was a great stay at the cabin. Loved the location next to the mountain stream at the end of the mountain road. Peaceful, quiet, perfect.

Cabin in a ravine
This property needs some attention from the owner. The deck under the hot tub is in need of some repair. The steps going to the back yard are broken and unsafe. Floors are extremely creaky. Appliances need updated to a useable level. When it is more comfortable to sit on the hardwood floors than on the furniture it is time to update the couches.
