Large single storey family home on 145sqm.
The day area consists of a large living / dining room surrounded by 4 large windows facing south and giving access to the terrace / pool (100 m²) and a large garden (400 m²).
The kitchen is open with a counter.
The sleeping area consists of 4 double bedrooms, 2 toilets, a shower room with vanity unit as well as a bathroom with shower, double sink, double bath and a sauna for 4/5 people.
One of the rooms is equipped with a desk.
The equipment provided is as follows:
Kitchen: oven, microwave, 4 vitroceramic hotplates, kettle, 2 coffee makers (filter and Nespresso), toaster.
Living room: Flat screen TV and sound bar, Hi-Fi system, DVD player, VCR, Super Nintendo game console.

Ideally located 10km from the center of La Rochelle, Angoulins-sur-Mer faces the Pertuis d'Antioche delimited by the islands of Ré, Aix and Oléron.
It is bordering with the seaside resort of Châtelaillon-Plage.
The Rue de la Motte Grenet is close to the sea with several direct access to the beaches of Angoulins (300 m) and pedestrian and cycle paths connecting La Rochelle to Chatelaillon-Plage.
The village center is within walking distance (650m) and includes convenience stores (supermarket, bakery, butcher, pharmacy).
A Carrefour shopping center is less than 5 minutes' drive away.

By car you will take 20 minutes to reach the center of La Rochelle.
A bus stop is located 160 m (Stop Vaux Verts Lines 20) and connects the center of La Rochelle in 25 minutes and Châtelaillon-Plage in 13 minutes.
A TER also connects the Angoulins and La Rochelle stations.
The cycle paths of the seaside can reach the center of La Rochelle in about thirty minutes and Châtelaillon-Plage in less than 10 minutes.

Easter week at Angoulins

My family and I have enjoyed a really lovely week in this great house. The property is very well equipped very comfortable and has everything you could need. There’s plenty of space for everyone and the kids appreciate the WiFi. It was very easy to find and thanks to Kevin the caretaker we soon felt at home. One of the best things for me was that you don’t really need a car when you’re there. The local shops and bar are only a few minutes walk away and the big supermarket is just a short cycle away. The area is really great for cycling and I recommend going up to La Rochelle by bike and enjoying a long lunch. There are also plenty of restaurants to be found in the other direction towards Chatillion plage. I am sure that we will be back as there’s so much that we still have to see in the area. I recommend a visit to Rochfort to the naval museum and a trip to Ile de Re to the world heritage site is a good day out.

Our stay was short because we decided to immediately move to another location, primarily in view of staining/discoloration of the bedding (even though I lost the large majority of what I had paid for the over one week stay). See the included photo of pillow, which is one of many we took. Basically, my wife was grossed out, and once that happened, it was game over for us. I’m giving an extra star because the owner was courteous in our discussions, though he disagreed with our assessment, and because he said he would look into issues I raised for future guests. Hopefully, this will not be an issue for anyone else. I ended getting another place, but because it was last minute, I had to get hotel rooms for the first night of my stay until the new property was ready. The new property had none of the issues I reported regarding bedding, and we ultimately had a lovely stay. My lesson learned is that I will never again rent a property with a “no refunds” policy.

Arrivée avec une odeur d'egoût persistante dans l'ensemble de la maison. Lave vaidelle en panne 4 jours. Piscine sale, verdure sur le fonds, volet de piscine fonctionnant mal, couette tachées, 1 volet de fenêtre defectueux, poubelles non vidées avec odeur !!Tarif location trop cher, propriétaire ne repondant pas a ma demande de ristourne sur le tarif. L’accueil et la réactivité ont grandement contribué à la qualité de notre expérience.La localisation est parfaite : la maison se situe dans un quartier calme, tout en étant proche de toutes les commodités (commerces, restaurants, activités). Un véritable atout pour profiter pleinement de la région sans avoir à faire de longs trajets.La maison elle-même est spacieuse, parfaitement agencée et très bien équipée. Tout est pensé pour le confort des voyageurs. Mention spéciale pour la piscine, qui a été un vrai bonheur pendant les journées ensoleillées (après quelques réglages)!Un endroit idéal pour des vacances en famille ou entre amis. Nous avons passé une très belle semaine en famille dans cette maison idéalement située à proximité du village et des plages (la plus proche, au bout de la rue de la mer, est accessible aux chiens). Les espaces intérieurs sont bien grands et fonctionnels, le jardin avec une partie nature ombragée est très agréable quand les températures sont élevées. La communication avec l'hôte est très cordiale et efficace. A conseiller pour découvrir cette magnifique région !

État de propreté de la maison

Le séjour s’est bien passé, maison agréable dans un environnement calme. Le point négatif est la propreté. Le ménage est imposé et facturé 100 € lors de la location. Quand nous avons pris possession des lieux, les vitres étaient sales, les poignées de meubles de cuisine et les portes collantes, la lèche frite du four non nettoyée… Nous avons été obligés de faire le ménage nous-mêmes en arrivant pour pouvoir passer des vacances avec des conditions d’hygiène acceptable !!! La gérante de la location nous a expliqué que son personnel n’avait pas le temps de nettoyer à fond le samedi à cause du nombre d’arrivées, Cela n’est tout bonnement pas entendable pour les vacanciers qui ont payé 100 € !!! Il serait préférable pour le propriétaire de changer de prestataire ou de laisser le choix aux vacanciers de faire eux-mêmes le ménage en fin de séjour.

De belles vacances !!!

Durant la dernière quinzaine de juin 2021, nous avons pu profiter de cette belle et grande villa toute équipée avec un beau jardin arboré, une terrasse et une piscine très agréables et un sauna pour compléter les moments de détente. Idéalement située pour profiter des beaux lieux qu'offre la Charente Maritime (La Rochelle, île de Ré et île d'Oléron notamment), elle est également située dans un charmant village avec tout les commerces nécessaires au quotidien et d'une grande surface à moins de 5 minutes. Je tiens également à signaler la disponibilité du propriétaire pour répondre aux différentes questions et demandes à la fois lors de la préparation de notre séjour mais également lors de notre présence au sein de la villa. Mooie woning, maar niet schoon

De woning was zeer smerig bij aankomst. Vuilnisbakken waar maaien uit kruipen. Toiletten niet schoon. Aan de eigenaar gemeld. Er zou iemand komen en het geld voor schoonmaakkosten terug ontvangen. Beide is niet gebeurd. Er waren ook defecten aan de woning. Deze zijn netjes gemeld, maar niet opgelost. Jammer, kost veel geld, maar heeft ook veel ergernis opgeleverd, vooral omdat afspraken niet zijn nagekomen of uitgevoerd.

Un séjour au top!

Maison au top! Tant la deco que le côté fonctionnel! Bien située : 500 mètres de la plage. Le bruit des vagues s entendent du jardin! La description de la maison correspond à la réalité! Un GRAND merci à Guilhem qui reste disponible pour la moindre question durant toute la durée du séjour! Je recommande cette maison à 300%!
