With over one hectare of land, and approached via a long tree-lined avenue, La Clé slowly reveals itself as a charming spacious 7 bedroom property, sleeping 16 people in comfort. This quaint and completely refurbished family owned property nestles comfortably into the surrounding terraces, with its cloak of olive trees and its wooded area, boasting a spectacular view from the terrace across the landscape to the village, the cliffs and the hillside beyond.
Find the hidden path down through the garden and you can be in the village 10 minutes by foot, making it ideal for those days and evenings out without the worry of driving.

Great location

The location of this villa and the views are lovely. It accommodated our party of 11 and the outdoor areas made catering for us all easy. The villa does require quite a bit of investment and air conditioning but this did not detract from our stay being great. Marion our host was very pro active and when we had a couple of problems at the villa, they were dealt with quickly and efficiently.

Everything very clean and well presented.

Our Family - 11 adults had a wonderful week in Cotignac. Everything worked as it should and the house was perfectly presented. Lots of space for all and a wonderful pool. Easy walk into town with great market, boulangerie and restaurants. Would highly recommend this property and the town. Thank you.

Fabuluos house-highly recommendable

We were 14 people (family of 3 generations) aged 13-80 in this amazing house 1 week in July. Everything was impeccable. The house is very well equipped for a lage group. The view is astonishing. We could sit there for hours just to take it in. The pool area is fantastic-plenty of deck chairs and space around the pool. We would love to come back. The check-in and check-out was very smooth and perfect communication with Marion, the house manager. My warmest recommendations.

A Pleasant Family Vacation

This property had everything we needed for our group, including four young children. Adults and children alike had comfortable sleeping arrangements and plenty of space for play and meals. We enjoyed lots of outdoor time in the pool and late nights enjoying the scenic view of Cotignac. The village is a short (10 minute) walk with lots of shops and restaurants. The host was very accommodating and responsive. Just to clarify, the baby cots provided only had a very thin mattress so you will need to bring a mattress of your own or expect to use a duvet for extra padding like we did. The house also does get quite warm in the evenings, despite open windows, but that is really just something you get used to. We very much enjoyed our stay!

Tolles Haus im wunderschönen Cotignac

Wir haben zwei erholsame Wochen im schönen Cotignac verbracht. Die Hitze der ersten Woche ließ sich dank des riesigen Pools gut ertragen, abends genossen wir die tolle Aussicht aufs Dorf oder die tolle AtmosphĂ€re in der wenige Minuten entfernten Ortsmitte. Die KĂŒche ist gut ausgestattet, es gibt genug Teller und Besteck, so dass wir auch mit 15 Personen ausreichend versorgt waren. Hilfreich ist da die zweite SpĂŒlmaschine, die aber durch die Lage im NebengebĂ€ude nur ab und zu verwendet wurde. Auch der zweite KĂŒhlschrank war Gold wert. Der Tisch im Esszimmer war fĂŒr unsere Gruppe etwas zu klein, da wir aber meistens auf der Terrasse gegessen haben, hat das nicht weiter gestört. Die Zimmer sind klein, aber ausreichend. Leider gibt es kaum SchrĂ€nke, meist nur offene Regale oder Kleiderstangen in den Zimmern, damit kam man auch zurecht. Insgesamt ein rundum gelungener Urlaub in der Provence mit freundlicher Betreuung durch Marion in einem Haus, das fĂŒr Gruppen super geeignet ist.

Maison d'un immense confort, calme et trÚs bien équipée.

Ses extĂ©rieurs comme ses grandes piĂšces amĂšnent un grand confort, les jeux Ă  disposition comblent les courts moments de rĂ©pit, la literie a fait l'unanimitĂ©. L'endroit est trĂšs calme et la vue est merveilleuse. Nous Ă©tions 13 adultes et 3 ados de 17, 17 et 13 ans et nous n'avons jamais eu la sensation d'ĂȘtre l'un sur l'autre. La cuisine est trĂšs bien Ă©quipĂ©e, nous n'avons vraiment manquĂ© de rien. Seul bĂ©mol, la table de billard annoncĂ©e n'a en fait jamais existĂ©e. Ceci dit, on recommande vivement cette propriĂ©tĂ© !!!

Décevant, maison vieille , non soignée et pool sale. Chemin d'accé compliqué.

À notre arrivĂ©e pool non nettoyĂ©, vieille maison sale et dĂ©fraichie, non conforme Ă  la description concernant les salles de bains. Literie vieille et incomfortable. Machine Ă  laver le linge dĂ©fectueuse ne fut remplacĂ©e qu'aprĂ©s 9 jours. Toilette bouchĂ©e et puanteurs nosĂ©abondes de fosses nous empĂ©chant de profiter pendant 3 jours de la terasse. Construction de maison voisines donc bruits de chantier Ă  partir de 7 heures le matin.Des trous d'eau de piscines en construction invitant la prolifĂ©ration de moustiques tigre. Ce furent des vacances vraiment trĂ©s mauvaises.Offrir une telle maison de vacances en location Ă  ce prix est scandaleux. De plus,le pool fut enfin nettoyĂ© correctement 9 jours aprĂ©s notre arrivĂ©e. À Ă©viter absolument cette location.

Wunderbar fĂŒr Mehrgenerationenferien

Wir haben eine perfekte Woche mit der gesamten Familie in der Villa verbracht. Die Ausstattung lĂ€sst keine WĂŒnsche offen: Spielzeug fĂŒr Klein und Gross (PĂ©tanque, Darts, Pingpong, etc.), einen riesigen Pool, eine grosszĂŒgig ausgestattete KĂŒche, zwei KĂŒhlschrĂ€nke, Grillplatz, Waschmaschine, etc. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt und die wunderbare Aussicht sowie die NĂ€he zum StĂ€dtchen sehr genossen. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Merveilleux séjour familial. Belle grande maison de famille. Simplicité et convivialité

Le cadre idéal pour passer des vacances en grande famille. Chacun y trouve sa place. Belle grande maison familiale, sans luxe inutile. TrÚs bien équipée. On s'y send directement à la maison avec le soleil en plus et une vue à couper le souffle. une région à explorer! Précision... nous y étions à 12 adultes (nos 5 enfants en couple et nous) et nos 3 petits enfants...Un séjour qui restera trÚs longtemps un trÚs bon souvenir.

A secluded piece of heaven. Gorgeous!

It’s a really beautiful villa, up in the hills, overlooking the quaint village of Cotignac, a 10 minute walk away from excellent restaurants, craft shops and a Boulangerie with patisseries to die for. We found a great market on Tuesdays.The villa itself has been completely renovated but is still a lovely old building full of charm, tastefully decorated and furnished with nooks and crannies everywhere so that everyone can find their own little space in this wonderful place. It is very comfortable and squeaky clean which was important to me. It is well maintained. The modern kitchen was well stocked. The 18m pool is gorgeous and a welcome relief from the heat. But the piece de resistance is the view from the terrace at night down into the village with the twinkly lights. Good for the soul! Lovely walks and vineyards and amazing food. My family and I have stayed there twice and will be back.

What a wonderful find in beautiful Provence

What a find! A fantastic property near the beautiful town of Cotignan, overflowing with fantastic Provence character – well worth the scenic drive. Once you get there you won’t want to leave! The accommodation is just fantastic – the original property with all its character has been beautifully modernised/ extended to take full advantage of the stunning scenery. While it caters for a large number of guests / families at one time the rooms are so well laid out there is such generous space around to escape and just chill / relax do your own thing. Night time on the terrace overlooking the town is pretty special! The swimming pool is a great size and has plenty of space around to sunbath / read. The ping-pong table was well used by kids and very competitive parents alike. The generous kitchen is fully fitted with every gadget you need so cooking was fun (Nespresso coffee machine bit of a luxury!) The TV room / snug was appreciated at the end of the day by kids big & small. The beautiful town square which is only a short walk away has plenty of restaurants to cater for all tastes and we found it very reasonable. There was singing & dancing in the square when it got dark which was brilliant fun for young & old – great memories:) We would highly recommend this property to anyone / group. Eilish & James

L'endroit idéal pour un séjour en famille

L’étĂ© dernier nous avons tenu notre rĂ©union familiale annuelle Ă  La ClĂ© de Provence, une maison spacieuse totalement Ă©quipĂ©e qui a accueilli sans problĂšme notre groupe de 15 personnes. Durant une semaine ensoleillĂ©e nous avons savourĂ© les breakfasts et dĂźners sur la terrasse qui domine le charmant village de Cotignac, sans oublier les pistes de balades dans les environs. Avec nos enfants et petits enfants nous avons profitĂ© sans limites de la grande piscine bien Ă©quipĂ©e en chaises longues et articles de jeu. Marion, la gestionnaire et native du pays, qui vit Ă  proximitĂ©, est toujours disponible pour informer et aider en cas de besoin. La ClĂ© de Provence est vraiment le lieu pour un sĂ©jour agrĂ©able en famille ou avec des amis ! Anne-Marie & Jack Lanco
