Upstairs 2 bedrooms with 1 double bed and two single beds. Parking, summer terrace with garden furniture and barbecue, lawn area. Préau for bicycles.

Rustic and Peaceful

The gite is great for a simple, old fashioned, well priced, country holiday. It is very rustic inside (the clothes rails are tree branches hanging from the rafters - very ingenious!) - and very simply furnished. The sofa and all the mattresses were cumfy although the single beds did creak a bit! In a nod to modern living there is an oven and induction hob and a microwave, kettle etc. but the crockery is somewhat rustic and there is no washing machine. There is a television but no WIFI (but we hadn't expected WIFI as it wasn't mentioned in the property description). I would recommend bringing your own hairdryer (not provided) and smoke alarm (bit temperamental). The drains were a bit of a problem in the bathroom (which incidentally is downstairs) but disinfectant was provided and came in useful when it got a bit smelly. The terrace is south facing, very private and there is a plastic table and chairs for al fresco meals. This little gite is very well located - about a 20 minute walk to the supermarket and 15 minutes into the centre of Mur de Bretagne with its Michelin restaurant (can recommend the tasting menu at 79 euros for a wonderful evening out) and attractive town square with church, pizzeria and charcuterie.

Le descriptif du gîte ne mentionne pas de lave linge donc c'est qu'il n'y en a pas, par contre bien indiqué qu'il n'y a pas de Wi-Fi. Je ne sais pas pourquoi le detecteur de fumée s'est retrouvé au sol, ni pourquoi le courant était coupé à leur départ, ce qui a occasionné des problèmes avec le four.

On a aimé son environnement verdoyant et fleuri, l'accessibilité de la ville et des commerces à 10-15 min à pied par la voie verte, ainsi que l'accès au lac, au barrage, à Saint-Aignan par les sentiers également.

Bien mais peut mieux faire

Le gîte est bien au niveau de la situation et proche de tout (commerce, balade, lac). Point d’amélioration : Aucun accueil proposé par le propriétaire. Donc manque d’information notamment concernant le fonctionnement de la VMC qu’il faut arrêter et redémarrer sous peine de ne pas bien dormir. Propreté à revoir (beaucoup de poussière et d’araignées )

Je suis passée les voir pour leur apporter des serviettes de bains ce qui nest pas prévu. Il aurait pu me demander pour la ventilation, cest dailleurs indiqué sur le tableau électrique. Quant aux airaignees ne pas sondondre avec les autres bestioles qui rentrent en été mais sans danger. De plus je semande de faire le menage car je ne prends pas de dorfait ménage, désormais je prendrai plus cher afuin que ce soit fait.

Manque draps de bain

linge de maison fourni avec supplément de 10€ ok . Descriptif :draps + serviettes de toilette . Mais il n'y a pas de grandes serviettes de sortie de douche c'est dommage que des petites serviettes de toilette . (Cela manque ) Nous ne l'avions pas prévu .
