Loved how quiet and peaceful this cabin was. Well worth the drive. The cabin and bathroom were clean and well maintained. Already thinking of another vacation back.
It was the perfect spot for us! The room was clean, warm and had everything we needed and then some! The property manager was always quick to respond. The view was top notch! Thanks for letting us stay with you!
We had a group of 6 weary portagers returning from 4 nights in camp. We were able to clean up, relax and sleep comfortably before heading back to TC. Much better than a "bunk house."
After relaxing in the sauna and enjoying the scenery, we wondered why we hadn't just stayed here all week? Beautiful views. Jessica great.
It was quite a drive from Minneapolis but for the most part, the road to the cabin was great and smooth. Cabin faces a lake and have boats that you can rent. The rooms with bunkbeds are big enough and well heated during the cold season. The common area/kitchen is suitably located away from most of the rooms so you can hangout with your friends/guests at night. Of course, don't be too loud as you will be sharing the cabin with other travelers.
Very nice property, easy access to the lake to fish. The room was a little tight with 6 guys and gear, but very nice, maybe some sort of shelving for some bags and a coat rack behind the door might help this? Bekah was a great host. Day use exemption saved the day due to all of the allotted permits were gone.
Perfect location to stage your entrance to the BWCA! The amenities exceeded our expectations. The rooms had their own bathroom, refrigerator, and microwave. Very comfortable beds with clean sheets and blankets. Clean towels were also provided.
The kitchen area is also well equipped with dishes, a stove, refrigerator, and grill.
The property owners were very friendly and welcoming. We’ll be sure to stay here again for future visits!
My friends and I took a little getaway up the north shore and we found this place an hour from Grand Marais and we loved it! It was very clean, spacious and just wonderful and enjoyable place to stay! The other visitors were very friendly as well and when needing help or having a question, the employees got back to me as soon as possible!
I would definitely recommend this place and I will be coming back in the future.
