Everything was clean and orderly for a pleasant stay with an easy check in. Instructions for check out were simple and not too extensive. I would like to mention something, though, which would have deterred my decision to book if I had been provided with this information sooner than 36 hours before check in and too late to modify the reservation.. This may not affect many, but it was a damper to me. The check in instructions mentioned to not set the thermostat lower than 70 degrees or else it'll damage the condensor. I usually set mine to 68 or 67 at night and those few extra degrees make a huge difference, especially since I'm pregnant! I woke up sweating several times and ended up leaving late in the afternoon instead of staying another night. Again, that may not be an issue for most people, but it would have been a nice detail to know beforehand and I might have inquired about a different location.

Great view

The house was clean and loved the 2 bedrooms with king beds. Would definitely stay there again. The hot tub and fire pit were perfect on the back deck. The view of the mountains was beautiful and to watch the sunrise in the morning. We really enjoyed ourselves and would definitely recommend this house.

We had a great time! The cabin was perfect for our family of 4, and the views were amazing. The road is easy to travel, and only about 15 min to town when we needed anything. We will definitely be booking again!

My wife, grown son and I spent Thanksgiving week and Day at Lazy Bear. I am SO glad we picked this property. Before booking we kept noticing the perfect 5 Star rating Lazy Bear achieved for customers. After staying there I am thrilled to join those satisfied customers and give it a 5 Star rating as well. The customer service is second to none, cabin was so clean and comfortable, the location is perfect, view is breath taking and did I mention the customer service is awesome! I highly recommend Lazy Bear to anyone. We look forward to returning there.

PERFECT Getaway!

Of the many experiences we have had with our family travelling, this cabin, by far, exceeded our expectations and provided the perfect getaway. On arrival, I felt as if I already knew the layout as it was perfectly described and photographed. In addition to enjoying the surrounding areas, Blue Ridge, Ellijay, Suches, Dahlonaga, the cabin itself was amazing. Everything we could have needed was already on site waiting for us and the owners were amazing, thank you. We enjoyed sunrises, the beautiful mountain view, listening to the sounds of nature, and hikes around the neighborhood. The Lazy Bear Inn will be a place we hope to come back to many times, thank you again!

Our hearts needed a peaceful getaway, and Lazy Bear gave us that. Thank you for being part of our healing. I'm grateful for the cleanliness, coziness, and comfort of the cabin as well as the small blessings such as coffee, a nice hot tub, and everything we needed from a kitchen. Birthday celebration

Wonderful place for a quiet getaway for one or two couples. Just far enough away from the crowds but within 15 minutes of downtown.Beautiful view and the cabin had everything we needed. Property manager/owner was very responsive to all our questions. We will definitely stay here again for a quiet weekend of relaxation.

Great mountain views

This cabin was even better than expected. Really enjoyed the porch. Saw my first fire flies at night. Amazing. Beds were comfortable and the living space was very cozy. Not that it affected our stay, I wanted to mention the ice maker was not working. Might be an issue in the heat of the summer.

We enjoyed very much our days at this beautiful view cabin. Our only complaint was that the corner of a large area rug was turned up causing a possible trip hazard.

This cabin has great views. We loved the two separate bedrooms with their own baths. The most comfortable beds I have slept in away from home. We took the train ride in a neighboring town to view the colors, it was a great tour. We visited many antique stores in Ellijay and neighboring towns. This was a great relaxing trip and the Lazy Bear Inn was a great place to stay.

Great Cabin

Apple getaway!

So pretty and nice and clean! Two little ladies wanting apples and quiet time. I drive a very extra long truck and with slight monuvering, got into the driveway. Backing out was easy! Beautiful views and everything is there for you. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
