Bullfrog Cottage is a charming, private, second floor, mid-century modern, open concept living space with full kitchen, dining and living space, 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths and wall to wall scenic views!!! The Cottage features include a gas fireplace, air-conditioning, three flat screen televisions, storage, washer/dryer, Wi-Fi, cable, and small balcony. The view of Harveys Lake is spectacular and you are within walking distance of restaurants and bars. BullFrog also includes a private dock, where you can keep your boat, swim, fish, kayak, jet-ski, ski, or lie in the sun! The dock provides a full bathroom, 2 kayaks, picnic table, luxury outdoor seating area, gas fire pit, lawn furniture, gas grill, cooler, umbrella, 2 bicycles, corn hole, and life jackets for 2. Fishing is great with your equipment and fishing license. Also provided are 6 beach tags for entry to Sunset Beach, one block away in front of Grotto Pizza.... this small, lifeguarded beach is charming for little ones!

Adorable Cottage, Amazing View

The cottage is really cute, clean and comfortable. The views of the lake are stunning. The dock is also great, complete with a very clean full bath. We loved kayaking, especially in the morning.

Bullfrog Cottage

Bullfrog Cottage is a wonderful vacation home. It is comfortable and very well decorated. We appreciated the views of Harvey's Lake and the wonderful dock for water activities. The location is great for traveling to Wyoming Valley and other locations. We will definitely rent from Susan again.

Fun Furnishings

Great place to stay. Pleasant view overlooking lake. Easy walk to restaurants. Nice dock, however weather did not permit us to spend more time sunning as we would have liked. I do not hesitate recommending this place to stay and would stay here again if returning to the area.

Perfect stay at the lake

The Bullfrog Cottage is a lovely home with very nice, modern decor and a gorgeous view of the lake. Each room is beautifully decorated. The beds were very comfortable and topped with cotton sheets & fluffy comforters. The bathrooms were stocked with new towels. Great kitchen appliances and W/D in the unit was a huge help. The dock is a short walk down the hill and has comfortable chairs, dining table & access to a secure, clean bathroom. We will definitely stay here again.

Excellent communication, beautiful house

Stunning upper level of a cedar shingled historic lake house, a self-contained 3 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment with all the amenities, very private. Eclectic, tasteful furniture, a mix of antique and comfortable contemporary furniture - one of the most tasteful VRBO's I've ever stayed in. Side porch, great location. And that view! Above all, a welcoming and helpful property manager, best of the best. Thank you!!!

Fall Folliage

We spent a long weekend at the Bullfrog Cottage. The reviews and pictures do not do the place justice. Being early October, the fall folliage was in full swing. The amazing views from the cottage allowed us to take in not only the lake but the surrounding mountain side! Thank you very much for sharing this amazing home with us!

Great snowy wintery getaway

Beautiful and meticulously, tastefully decorated house. We enjoyed finding all the frogs hidden all over the home decor. Beautiful views and several restaurants nearby. Close to Rickets Glen park. Very minor cons: WiFi was spotty and only available at entrance. Kitchen could use some new pans for breakfast prep. Can only imagine how buzzing this place will be in the summer! Thanks for a lovely stay.

HappyThanksgiving

After booking we realized we were 2 houses down from my sisters home! The view was spectacular, super clean, super spacious. The kiddos loved their little bunk room one night and all camped out for a jammie party the next with plenty of room to spare! We were able to walk back and forth to familys home for Thanksgiving. Grotto was awesome and only a block away. The kids were able to play in the yard too! Great stay!

Family Reunion Weekend At Bull Frog Cottage

Bull Frog Cottage exceeded our expectations! The spectacular view of the lake from the kitchen/living room was so enjoyable. Interior space beautifully decorated with upscale furnishings and quite spacious. The property was lush and beautifully manicured. The 2 tier dock was comfortable and the kids enjoyed kayaking and fishing. Enjoyed a pizza dinner on the dock with family and enjoyed amazing sunset views. The host and property manager were excellent and were always avilable to communicate. Highly recommend!

Amazing stay!

I cannot say enough nice things about this property. The property itself is beautiful both inside and out. The hydrangeas outside are huge and were in full bloom. The views of the lake through the wall of windows was gorgeous even when slightly fogged over. The home was spotless and extremely well equipped. Even had soft toilet paper and tissues! A rarety in many rentals, Interior design was modern, stylish, and home looked recently remodeled. Contact was easily available the few times we contacted her with questions. Location couldn't be better. Close to entrance to lake, easy walking distance to Jones, Jonathan's, and Grotto pizza. We enjoyed the kayaks and dock and our granddaughter lives the beach and playground. Would strongly recommend this amazing property. and in full bloom.

Harvey's Lake family stay 2022

We were back in the area for a family wedding and ready to enjoy the week and also relive summers from the past. This location gave us the perfect opportunity to do both! The cottage was beautiful inside and out and it's location and easy access to Rhodes dock gave us our fun and our memories! Inside was beautiful and comfortable and we found everything we needed for the week, Thank you yo the owners for the extra touches!

We made a career move to Pennsylvania in 1989. We thought it would be a temporary position for a few years. Instead we now call Pennsylvania home. We raised children, who live near by and have moved our parents to be near us as well. Thirty plus years and counting - we still love Pennsylvania!

Why they chose this property

Harveys Lake is Pennsylvania's largest natural lake! We chose to purchase a property (Vineyard on the Lake) to enjoy the outdoors, i.e., water, boating, kayaking, fishing, biking and of course the sunsets! We are fortunate to live within walking distance of a few local restaurants and it is located 15 minutes from our business! Hence - we feel we are on vacation everyday! We purchased the Rhodes House property next door and modeled it to enhance our Martha's Vineyard - shake shingle style property! It is so lovely that we wanted to share it with our family and friends! Now we have opened the second floor of Rhodes House and created BullFrog Cottage as a seasonal rental for all to share!
