Houseboat @ Venice Marina (Roosters Den)

Rooster's Den lodge is a floating house located in the Venice marina in slip B-02. With quick access to the parking lot (and no stairs) it's easy to unload your gear and get settled in so you can spend your time on the water doing what matters the most. FISHING. With space to tie up two boats and unobstructed views of the water, you'll quickly see why this is one of the best locations in the marina.

As you enter Rooster's Den you will find yourself in the Mud Room, complete with a full size washer and dryer, and a loft with two twin mattresses located above. This private loft is great for overflow guests. The mud room is a perfect spot to drop wet clothing into the washing machine, and its also spacious enough for pet kennels.

From the Mud Room you can then enter into the main open plan living area, which is complete with a large sofa, a love seat and extra seating. We also provide you with a large 50" flat screen TV with access to the many channels offered by Dish Network, including WiFi should you need access. In the main living area is also a full size kitchen with new stainless steel appliances and completely stocked with an array of pots and pans to suit all your cooking needs, and a dining area that seats 8 at once. The kitchen has an unobstructed view of the harbor.

If you prefer cooking in the great outdoors, no worries. For your use, there is a large grill on the front dock, along with a burner and stock pot for "boiling dem shrimp" which are typically available just across the marina. There is also a lighted fish cleaning station on the dock directly behind the you clean your catch of the day. Whatever your needs, we've got you covered.

Central air and heat will keep you comfortable during your stay. There's also a 700 lb ice maker on the front dock AND a small chest freezer to keep your fish AND your beer ice cold.

Just off the main living area, there are two full bathrooms along with two large bedrooms. Bedroom one has 2 sets of full over full bunk beds in one bedroom, and bedroom two has 1 set of full over full bunk beds (plus the two twin mattress in the loft over the mud room)

Our houseboat was built in 2015, and we are happy to have you as our guests. We strive hard for five star reviews and five star referrals. Check in is 3 pm, check out is at 11am. The $100 USD cleaning fee goes directly to the staff that does a great job keeping everything up for you.

If you’re bringing a dog, please realize there will be a $100 pet fee per pet to cover the costs associated with your dog. We love having our pups with us, too, but it takes extra time for housekeeping to clean ip for the next guests who may not love traveling behind your dogs. Thanks in advance for understanding!
