Host was very hospitable. He worked around our travel plans and made us feel comfortable to ask questions. It is more than enough room for a family of 5. Plus an awesome lookout tower!!
Rich was a great host. We were looking for some down, quiet time and the cabin exceeded our expectations. The view from the sky deck every morning while we had coffee was amazing!
Myself & 4 adult kids stayed at this cabin for a relaxing 5 days. It was a great place to stay to just unplug. We attended a concert in Morrison and spent the rest of the time enjoying the wildlife, peace and rest.
We loved our stay at this property. The owner could not be more helpful and responsive. The views form the Sky deck are stunning day and night. Overall we loved the house and our stay.
The cabin was just what we were looking for....rustic and a beautiful 360 view of the mountains. Cabin was very well stocked with everything needed to prepare a meal. We had a fabulous time and the owner was great, stay in touch and was willing to help with what ever was needed. I would defiantly stay again. Thank you Rich for a wonderful vacation.
The cabin is a beauty. We loved the way the original aspects of the architecture have been preserved. Very comfortable furnishings and it was a joy to cook in the kitchen!! Rich is a very thoughtful host!!
This place was just great. It was the kids favorite spot on our whole trip to Colorado. We loved being near the forest, enjoyed the view, and loved not being able to hear the highway. It was perfect for us!
The house is well stocked with everything you might need and the owner was very quick to respond and attentive to details.
Beautiful property with no immediate neighbor. A perfect hideaway in the woods! Took phenomenal wife life photos. Rich provided good guidance and communicated promptly.
We loved our stay! It was very private and we could enjoy the hot tub without neighbors. The wildlife was so fun to watch, even while we were in the hot tub they were 10 ft away just chilling. Rich was a great host and was available if we needed anything, but the cabin was well stocked and we didn’t need to bother him. I have told many friends and family that they should go visit and I plan on going back.
I decided at the spur of a moment that I needed a week of rest, recreation, and reflection.
The cabin was far enough away from the maddening crowds for quiet reflection and close enough to quickly access nearby hiking trails.
Rich was a splendid host—a gem of a gentleman.
I hope to make this a regular visit.
This was everything we expected and a great place to unwind and recharge after a long and hot Texas summer. Rich made us aware of every detail necessary to insure we were able to use and enjoy the property as it was intended. Hopefully we can make a return in the future! Thanks!
Beautiful cabin close to Red Rocks and all popular mountain ranges
We really enjoyed this cabin. Loved the kitchen for cooking daily breakfast, very well stocked with all cookware and cutlery. They have a great spice cabinet! We cooked out on the grill and loved being high on top of the mountain for great views! Daily wildlife was a real treat and we absolutely loved the observation deck for sunrise in the morning and star gazing at night. The hot tub was awesome after our wonderful hikes in various mountain ranges we visited. We would come back to this VRBO property, owner Rich was great and communication was always timely when we needed anything. He had some great recommendations for us!

About the host
Hosted by Rich Corey
World traveler with a great appreciation for the welcoming and inviting places where I've been fortunate to stay. I strive to create an atmosphere and vibe in the cabin that invites my guests to exhale, relax and let the energy flow.
Why they chose this property
I fell in love with the views and peaceful vibe of the cabin the first time I was invited to a dinner there amid autumn's vibrant glory. Before the night was over, I asked them to let me know if they were ever to sell it. A year later I bought it and over the past seven years, have completed major restorations and modern improvements.
What makes this property unique
Every guest who's visited The Cabin in the Blue Sky has fallen in love with the views, the cozy warmth, gentle vibe, fresh mountain air and an overall feeling of peace and serenity.
