Upon arriving and unpacking groceries a couple roaches ran across the counter and went behind the stove. Called Vacasa and they said they’d send someone out the next day. Don’t know if they did, we were on the beach all day but didn’t smell anything or have a note saying they sprayed. Next day another roach was climbing the curtains. Called again and was told someone was coming to spray. Also upon arrival, a lot of sand on the floor and sticky counters. Vacasa did offer to send a cleaning person out. Condo needs to be updated, furniture is old and not comfortable. However, condo has amazing views, layout is great, kitchen is well stocked and Vacasa was amazing to deal with! Great communication I would rent from them again.

Not worth the money!

1st, the condo smelled awful when we arrived! The vent on the microwave was left on. We were later told the cleaning crew left it on because of the smell. So there is no exaggeration there. We did get compensated for the cleaning fee! Understandably because it was not clean!!! Dishes dirty, shower liners dirty, Garbage disposal not working, just to mention a few items. We probably could have gotten past all of that because they did come and clean after we complained and the smell got better and the garbage disposal was replaced. The property manager and lead cleaning lady did all they could do I believe. The part we're having a hard time getting past is the overall condition of a condo that cost us $4000- for 10 days. The master bathroom sink took forever to drain. If you took a shower in there you were standing in water up to your ankles. The furniture is disgusting! We put sheets on it just to be comfortable sitting on it. The rugs are apparently original rugs....so dirty you didn't want to step on them! The beds were NOT comfortable. The master bed squeaked loudly every time you turned over. The furniture on the balcony was rusted and the cushions had seen their better days! We have stayed at Watercrest many times. In fact we have stayed in many condos in Panama City Beach over the past 30+ years we've been going there. This was the worst experience and condo we have ever stayed in! It is very disappointing to drive 14 hours and spend that kind of money for an experience like this! It literally ruined our vacation! Pictures are very deceiving! DO not waste your money on this unit! There are much better Condo's available.
