About this property

Moose Mountain Hideaway Private 2 Bedroom & Spacious Lounge 4 people maximum

Located in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains and just a 5-minute drive from Bragg Creek, Moose Mountain Hideaway offers accommodation for up to 4 (four) people. The area is separate from the main residence, with its own private, secured entrance. We ONLY accept one booking at a time, this way everything is private for you.

The property has horses and donkeys that will be anxious to greet you upon arrival.
Guests can enjoy an outdoor seating area with a fire pit and beautiful mountain views.

Free Wi-Fi is provided - Starlink.

Rooms (3 plus bathroom):
We offer 2 big and very clean bedrooms rooms and 1 large lounge area (sleeping) with views of the great outdoors. We even have room for your horses.

Lounge Area
We have recently added a full kitchen to the suite. We no longer offer breakfast.
The large lounge area has a pullout queen-sized bed, a full kitchen and Kuereg coffee machine. Drinking water, tea, and coffee available daily.
Flat screen TV for watching a large selection of DVD's.
A queen airbed is available upon request for use in this room as well.

A large shared bathroom with jetted tub, separate shower including toiletries, and a hairdryer. Fresh linens and towels.

The property was clean and comfortable - wonderful for our girls getaway. We were 6 adult women and had plenty of room and were able to have an awesome campfire. So peaceful and quiet with beautiful landscapes.

Excellent experience for our girl’s weekend. Beautiful space, loved the horse and donkeys and the hosts were very welcoming. Only suggestion would be to have a guest book for visitors to leave messages behind in :)

Fantastic stay

Our stay didn't disappoint. The decor was lovely and set the stage for a cozy getaway. The kitchen was fully stocked, the beds were cozy and every room was welcoming. The drive to the property was quite close and convenient to town and the friendly horse, along with the donkeys, walked up to the fence along the driveway and welcomed us as we drove up! The hosts were lovely and attentive yet sensitive to the privacy of their guests. I would highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a relaxing trip to the mountains.

Lovely Ranch Getaway

Beautiful and spotlessly clean, this place was perfect for our girls' getaway for 6 ppl. With 2 bedrooms and a large living room, we had plenty of room for hanging out. There was some confusion about the number of bedrooms on the listing (there were 2 separate rooms + large living room) and # of bathrooms (1) but it all worked just fine for our group. There was a small kitchenette with microwave, mini fridge, toaster, plates/bowls/cutlery, and Keurig coffee maker. No cooking appliances (besides the microwave) so plan your meals accordingly. Mike provided a light continental breakfast which was a nice touch + lots of bottled water. The only 'inconvenience' was not having a sink in the kitchenette. The only water source was therefore the bathroom. Not a problem at night, but noticed in the morning with 6 girls trying to shower + make coffee/tea :) Also no sink for dishes. Not a problem for our 1 night stay... not sure how that works for multiple days...? I presume the host would collect dishes during the day to run through a dishwasher and return them later...? The suite is attached to the main house with a sliding door. It would have been more comfortable for us to have a lock (even a latch) on our side of the door. We loved visiting with the horses and donkeys and we took a beautiful stroll + a 15km run along the neighbouring paths. Overall, we were really pleased with this venue for our overnight getaway and would visit again.

Bragg Creek getaway

We had a great stay in Bragg Creek thanks to Mike. We loved the area for hiking and good dinners in Bragg Creek. The only problem was that the map on VRBO did not match the actual location of the property and there seemed to be some miscommunication between Mike and VRBO regarding contact information and details. Once we arrived it was fantastic!
