At the foot of the Rochecorbon Lantern, with a sensational view of the Loire, this property offers a unique troglodyte stay. It has a kitchenette, a living room and a terrace. It includes breakfast *, sheets and towels, cleaning, wifi, and all taxes.
Rochecorbon benefits from the classification of the world heritage of UNESCO, only 55 mins from Paris by TGV and Tours airport is 10 minutes. An ideal stop if you are heading south or north of France.
This troglodyte is buried in the rock, hidden in the garden. This suite shows signs of its historic use as a dwelling with a traditional bread oven in the living room. The accommodation is perfect for two, but can take up to four people with a fold-out sofa bed (140cm). It includes a kitchenette with a microwave, 2 hot plates, mini-grill, espresso machine (Tassimo), toaster and kettle, a living area with dining table and seating area, a bedroom with a double bed ( 140cm), a separate bathroom and a private terrace.
These troglodytes have been developed to offer visitors a unique accommodation experience; stay in a modern cave halfway up a cliff! These dwellings date back to the Middle Ages and even to prehistoric times. It is the combination of modern decor mixed with original and traditional features; its history being linked to the lantern just above the gîte, the enclosed garden, the sunny terraces, the birds, the rock, and a breathtaking view of the beautiful Loire!
