Land + Sea is an 1890s farmhouse in the Head of Westport neighborhood, just a few minutes walk to the East Branch of the Westport River. Spend the days kayaking nearby or at nearby beaches, then come back to rinse off in the outdoor shower. Close to Buzzard Bay Brewing, Westport Rivers Winery, farm stands, dairies, cycling loops, galleries/studios and conservation areas. Prepare local foods in the chef's kitchen or on the grill.

Having been raised on a farm just minutes from the coast, I longed to return to that farm-and-sea lifestyle after living in cities all my adult life. The Southcoast of Massachusetts/Rhode Island was the place that spoke to me most. It's a lifestyle—slow, relaxed, natural—that we feel will speak to you, too.

Why they chose this property

Land + Sea is an 1890s farm/village house on nearly 1/2 acre of land. The house was newly renovated prior to our purchase and has that old-time charm but with a modern feel, especially in the kitchen. The home has clean, simple lines and design style, which mirrors the architecture of the interior itself.

What makes this property unique

- Not too far off the major highways but far enough away not to have constant traffic.
- An outdoor shower!
- A lovely porch with nearby grill.
- Play lawn games in the back yard.
