About this property
Historic 1910 Bungalow • Carriage House • 1 Block to Wine & Dine • Pet Friendly
Stay in a beautifully restored 1910 bungalow with a charming carriage house that transforms into a covered open-air entertaining space, in the heart of McMinnville Wine Country. Just one block from top wine tasting rooms, chef-driven dining, boutique shops, art galleries, and festivals. This walkable retreat blends historic character with modern comfort. Enjoy original details, a cozy dog-friendly fenced yard, and inviting indoor-outdoor spaces—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring.
The home offers excellent privacy for couples, families, or friends traveling together. The private primary suite offers a king bed and a beautifully designed compact ensuite bath. In a unique historic touch, original French doors from the home were converted into a sliding barn-style door, paired with a fully tiled bath and updated fixtures. At the opposite end of the home, a spacious 2nd bedroom features a queen bed, with an adjacent full bathroom that also serves as the home's main bathroom. Just off to the kitchen is the laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer, which adds extra convenience for longer stays.
Outdoor living is where this property truly shines. Enjoy the classic covered front porch with comfortable lounge chairs—perfect for sipping coffee and watching the neighborhood stroll by. Out back, open the historic roller door, and the carriage house transforms into a covered open-air entertaining space that flows directly into the fully fenced yard. With ceiling string lights, a rustic wood slab table on wine barrels, bistro chairs, and the BBQ placed right at the entrance, it’s the perfect spot to gather with your pups, enjoy umbrella shade during the day, or the heat lamp, and twinkle lights in the evening.

About the host
Hosted by Wine Country Properties
She had the Wine Country Farmhouse, and he had the Walter Link House, which is how Anita and Larry met. Well.... it was at the UFO Festival, but that's another story. The result was another vacation rental, and now another one along the way. Both are natives who grew up surrounded by the wine industry. As a kid, Anita picked grapes during harvest on one of the first vineyards in Dundee. Larry was raised on a farm in what is now the McMinnville AVA. Like Salmon, they returned after exploring the world to pursue their passion in their hometown: preserving historic properties and sharing Oregon Wine Country with the world. By joining forces - Anita's background in real estate and Larry's in construction, they have created a solid team in the growing family of Wine Country Properties.
Why they chose this property
Nestled in a charming neighborhood of historic homes, stroll two blocks to McMinnville's Famous Third Street ~ the mecca of Oregon Wine Country. Visit tasting rooms, dine in award-winning restaurants, and savor the moments sifting through local shops. Relax in a luxury 1910 craftsman home, recently restored to its turn-of-the-century charm with modern conveniences. Enjoy the peaceful setting on the front porch or BBQ in the back while dining in the Carriage House under the twinkle lights.
What makes this property unique
Excellent location, fully restored Craftsman Bungalow with outdoor dining in the Carriage House.
