Lovely Place with Brilliant View

Had a lovely time. Place has a brilliant view of Longs Pond in Acadia. Was a very nice stay. Place is well-stocked. Close proximity to everything in Acadia.

Acadia Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed this property. The views are amazing with excellent accommodations. We really enjoyed watching both sunrises and sunsets over the water. Very close to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. I would highly recommend.

This property is incredibly beautiful! The views off of the back deck rival the lake views inside Acadia National Park. The host was great about communicating with us and very nice to deal with! We will definitely be back! 1000/10 recommend this property!

Lovely Get-Away

We loved staying at this property. Unfortunately we didn’t receive the check in information at the time VRBO promised (48 hours pre-checking) but once we reached out, we had the information quickly. This is a lovely retreat away from the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor, but close enough to go for dinner, etc. Don’t let the drive down the private 1 1/2 mile lane stop you - this house is at the very end with beautiful views of Long Pond!

Tranquility

The view from Windiana 1's deck is what caught our eye when searching for a getaway but once here it is the whole package that will drive us to want to return for future stays. We did not expect to see summer time crowds in Acadia in late Sept. early Oct. so it was so very nice to come back to the peace and quiet of Windiana and you are not even that far away from the park. Windiana has all the comforts of home in a compact package. Communication with the property owner was easy and fluid!

Peace and Serenity

This is our second time staying at Windiana and we can not wait for our next stay!We love the location! You can easily get to Bar Harbor, Acadia, Southwest Harbor, Seal Cove, or anywhere in the MDI. Forget something or need a break from outdoor activities, Ellsworth is just a quick drive. Speaking about needing a break, sitting on the deck or dock looking out over Long Pond is magical. The peace and serenity of stating at Windiana is a great reset to a hectic work life.Windiana has all the comforts of home without the worries of what needs to be done at home. Communication with the property owner was great, checking in and out was effortless, and did I mention the view!
