Welcome to Mockingbird, brought to you by Music City Magnolia.
Mockingbird is the rare Nashville rental that has a genuine neighborhood identity and a rooftop view of Downtown Nashville — two things that are surprisingly hard to find in the same address. This three-story townhome sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths, just steps from the Farmers Market, Germantown, and a collection of James Beard Award-winning restaurants that turn any trip into a food-lover's itinerary.
The layout is designed around three distinct spaces, each earning its name. The Song Space on the ground floor is the heart of the home: an open kitchen, living, and dining area with seating for 8 — where the music plays, the meals happen, and the mornings start slow. The Serene Space on the second floor holds the three bedrooms: a king primary and two queen guest rooms with a shared Jack-and-Jill bath connecting them. The third floor — the Soar Space — adds a queen pull-out, a game table, a dedicated workspace, and access to the rooftop patio where the Downtown Nashville skyline opens up in front of you.
In-unit washer/dryer means extended stays and multi-night trips are genuinely easy. The home is fully stocked and ready to live in, not just sleep in.
The neighborhood is one of Nashville's best for serious eating and walking. Rolf and Daughters, the James Beard Award semifinalist, is 0.6 miles away. City House is 0.7 miles. 5th and Taylor is 0.8 miles. Henrietta Red is 0.8 miles. The Nashville Farmers Market is 0.4 miles — perfect for a Saturday morning run for provisions. Bicentennial Mall and Sounds Stadium are both 0.6 miles. Germantown, with its own concentrated restaurant scene, is 0.8 miles away. Broadway is walkable with seasonal motivation; Printers Alley is 1.2 miles.
For New Year's Eve, this is one of the best-positioned Nashville rentals: close enough to join the celebration, with a rooftop to watch it from without fighting a crowd.
Beyond food lovers, Mockingbird is a Nashville favorite for bachelorette weekends (the rooftop is an instant gathering spot), couples seeking walkable dining, families exploring Germantown's Farmers Market, and CMA Fest or NFL game groups who want a walkable Downtown address. Parking available on street nearby.

Great long weekend in Nashville.
The home was immaculately clean and well appointed. The area was quiet but a short uber ride to downtown. The roof deck was a really nice sport. Wonderful stay.

Like coming home
This is the 3rd time we have stayed at Mockingbird and we enjoy it more and more each time. Location is just perfect for us and we are close to a supermarket, places to eat and the city area. Look forward to the 4th time when we return next year.

This is a very good spot. The condo has plenty of room for 4+ guest very centrally located. We will definitely stay there again. The condo has everything you need.
Everything was perfect. The house was clean and the host provided cute snacks and toiletries in case you forgot to pack essentials. I would stay here again.
The property was very clean, spacious, and had a lot of thoughtful complimentary items for us to use! The daily market was a hidden gem just down the street and loved the decks!
Perfect for our group of 6 SLPs in town for a work training.

Return Visit - Great House & Location
Property has everything we needed and is close to local restaurants, supermarket, the city and pretty well everything. We will be back again next year.
This was a great space for our adult children and us to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. Everything was close and convenient. Just relaxing at the house between outing was very nice. So much space.
This property is fabulous and very well stocked. The location to the Farmers Market was great. My only concern is that in the description it says it is walkable to Broadway (downtown) and it really isn’t. Otherwise, no complaints.

Great Location, Clean and Well Stocked
The property was perfect for a girl's trip! The location was centrally located to everything that we wanted to do- Broadway, the Farmer's Market, and 13South. It was clean and very well stocked with everything we needed-linens, tolietries, coffee, and a speaker to play our music. I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Nashville.

Beautiful home
This was the perfect home to stay in. It was clean and beautiful. There were multiple areas to drink your beverage of choice outside. The farmers market is practically right across the street. We had a blast scootering to broadway. I would highly recommend this VRBO.
The manager was so nice and immediately responded to any concerns. The home was set up well with all the basics including popcorn 😁...great stay!! See you again soon!

Perfect place
Our stay at "The Mockingbird" was absolutely fantastic! The location couldn't have been better, just a short walk to the Farmers Market, stadiums, and all the downtown excitement. The house itself is beautifully designed and incredibly spacious, with comfortable beds and luxurious bathrooms. The rooftop deck was our favorite spot, offering breathtaking views of the city – perfect for morning coffee or evening cocktails. There were great amenities in the house. We had a great time!
Clean and perfect amount of space for three couples. Beds were comfortable and plenty of bathrooms. I liked that there were two additional powder rooms. The complimentary toiletries and drinks were a nice touch as well and very much appreciated. We didn’t spend a ton of time in the house because we were out and about but enjoyed the time that we did spend there. Good location. Quiet away from all the partying and noise on Broadway but within a short enough distance to walk to certain areas or get anywhere we wanted with a short uber ride. Overall we enjoyed this property and would stay again.
We were in town for a conference and decided to book this VRBO to allow for more team building. The property was fantastic and had everything we needed. Hope to stay here again next year!
once we decided on location and accommodation it was great

Liked: Cleanliness
Disliked: Check-in, communication
Nice place but poor communication
The house was beautiful and clean. It is located in an old neighborhood but several homes have been built/renovated. Location is perfect. I became concerned closer to the trip that the property owner was missing from the VRBO listing and I had a couple of questions but was not able to send a message. In addition when I clicked on the property it said no longer available. Then I frantically searched for VRBO emails confirming this reservation and that payment had been received. I could not find any emails about this reservation. I literally thought I was going to have to find another place at the last minute. This was vastly different than my last experience when we went on a family vacation in July. I spoke to that owner repeatedly. He even messaged me and gave me his cell phone number as soon as I made the reservation. Luckily there was a phone number to call for VRBO support and they were able to reach the owner. I didn’t get specific check in details until the day of the trip 5 hours before check in. They could have sent in advance and turned on the code right before check in. Also packed my coffee assuming they had a Keurig since I couldn’t reach the owner and they did not have one. The towels must have been brand new and never washed because there was lint all over us when drying off after showering. And it would have been nice to at least have a box of tissues in the bathrooms and TVs in the bedrooms. For these reasons I won’t stay here again even if the property is available.

Thanks for your feedback Danielle. I’m sorry you had trouble with the site. For reference, our rental agreement is sent via email to the address on file immediately at booking and contains all of our direct contact information, email, toll-free, and cell. We also provide information in our booking confirmation email that door codes and entry instructions are always sent at 11am local time on the day of arrival and activate at checkin, 4pm. I apologize if you missed our emails throughout the process! We do not list or show TVs in the bedrooms in our photos; however there are 2 in each living space. We do have a drip coffee pot and provide fresh whole beans, sugar, and cream.
