The cottage Mathilde has a large south terrace, a large outdoor area with ornamental pool, sunbathing, barbecue and parasol.

Love this VRBO rental!!

First, Jean-Marc is a great host! He greets you in person - great welcome and answers any questions. And he responds quickly to emails. Good communication. 👍🏻 I love this apartment!! I have stayed here twice. Its my #1 (and only) "go to" in this area. It's spacious, comfortable, fully modern and everything works with no problems. Beds are very comfortable. Showers & water pressure are good. Kitchen is fully equipped, including a full-sized refrigerator ("frigo" in French). Easy parking on property. Very good location, right near a Carrefour mini-grocery and a short walk to the center of Barjac, the open-air marché (Fridays), and the Tourism Information Office. Lots of outdoor activities nearby, so this is a great place to make your "home base" while you explore the area! Highly recommended!! 👍🏻

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐This place was great - I cannot say enough good things about it!

The apartment is in a beautifuly renovated farmhouse. It's incredibly spacious with beds for 6 people. The master suite's bed was luxuriously comfortable and the shower in the ajoining bathroom is bigger than places I've rented in Paris! Kitchen has everything you might need (and if you are missing milk, baguette, etc, there's a grocery store next door). The second level (up the spiral staircase) has the additional bedroom (with two beds) and there's a daybed with pullout trundle bed, a TV/relaxation area, and a second complete bathroom. Everything worked perfectly including an easy-to-use TV and probably the simplest WiFi name and password I have ever encountered. Also, the washing machine worked perfectly and the clothes drying rack on the patio was very useful. The host was very friendly and helpful - the kind of person that you like as soon as you meet him. Barjac itself is wonderful. Old stone buildings, winding streets, beautiful vistas, etc. And very peaceful too. I highly recommend this exceptional VRBO/HomeAway rental!
