Bella Mare' : Bahamas Oceanfront Rental with Large Hot Tub and Pool.

We are back and better than ever! Enjoy this Caribbean style house with a verandah and sun deck right on the Atlantic Ocean in the beautiful Bahamas. This one of a kind house sits just north of Plymouth Village. From the back door you are just twenty steps away from a beautiful two and a half mile white sandy beach. An underwater sea garden reef is just off shore for snorkeling, lobstering or fishing. We also have a 45 KW back up generator that powers everything uninterrupted when Bahamas power goes off. We have city and a cistern so water is always available.

This "made for entertaining home" has 5 bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms on the first floor and 1 bedroom, full bath, and a common area downstairs. There is a full kitchen with granite counter tops and everything you need to cook a gourmet dinner. The open kitchen/dining area allows plenty of room for large groups. Right off the hallway is a washer and dryer. The living room has a large screen TV, DVD player, CD player, and a stereo system with indoor and outdoor speakers .The home also has wireless internet. The downstairs has been set up as a separate suite with a common area as well as a bedroom with three twin beds and one queen bed. We recently added a full bath downstairs for everyone’s convenience.

One of the best features of the home is a large screened in verandah that stretches the entire length of the house. It's a great place to sit back, relax, and take in the incredible views of the Atlantic Ocean. Grab your favorite book and let the ocean breeze take you away. Early risers can watch the sun come up over the water while enjoying your morning coffee and for the night owls, a private jacuzzi where you can soak away all your worries under the amazing stars. For those warmer days… take a dip in the pool and relax.

Great home for large group or family!

Belle Mare provided the perfect spot for our group of 14, including 2 under the age of 5 and 6 teenagers, to enjoy Green Turtle Cay. Centrally located between town and Green Turtle Club, you were never more than a couple minutes from anything you need. The pool and hot tub were a huge hit and provided a nice transition from beach/boat to evening every day. The home has everything you need and the owners and Dawn (caretaker) were super responsive and even sent over a new mattress for the pack and play without us asking...very thoughtful. We would definitely stay at Belle Mare again!

Wonderful

This was one of our favorite stays in the bahamas. The view is amazing. Everything is provided to prepare meals and just spend time sitting on the screened porch relaxing! Great place!

Family Vacation

Awesome property and location. The house was absolutely beautiful, well stocked, with plenty of room for all. The porch was to die for and well used by our group. The entire trip was perfect from Dawn's help to beautiful weather and great food. Will definitely book again.

Best rental ever!

This is the best equipped home we have ever stayed in. We visit different out island every year. Dawn was incredibly responsive and went above and beyond to help by picking us up from the ferry doc, recommending activities etc. the home has everything you can think of including an air fryer, slower cooker, dozens of extra towels and linens, etc. The beds are very comfortable overall an incredible stay!

Everything was as advertised

Great house for a big group. Kids can hang out downstairs in the lower living room when they needed a break from the sun and beach. Great screened in porch to keep the bugs away and watch the sunrise.

Wonderful Christmas

It was our first time to the island, and the the trip did not disappoint. We were met at the dock and helped with our luggage which was excellent. The property was great, comfy beds and nice rooms, Dawn was just a text away if we needed anything.. The view was beautiful and we enjoyed the hot tub. Overall a great experience, and we look forward to our next trip to GTC, and we will definitely stay at Bella Mare in the future.

Paradise - loved Belle Mare

Just returned from a week on GTC. We were a group of 14 - 7 couples and we rented 2 homes. Belle Mare and a house across the street - Chelonia. Belle Mare was well equipped and even more beautiful in person than the photos. Views were stunning. Location was great. House manager Dawn was very attentive and quick to respond when we had a plumbing issue. Everything was fabulous.

Great Stay in Green Turtle Cay!

We had a group of 16 total, adults and children. From the moment we stepped into the house the ocean view and large screened in porch grabs your attention. We had a great stay from booking to check out. Great communication with the owners of the property and Dawn. The house has everything you can think of and more. The beds were SO comfy like a cloud I wanted to take it home with me. Everyone in my group have only positive things to say about our stay. For such a large group in one house we never felt on top of each other. Do not miss out on this house if you get the opportunity. Thank you Rodney,Carrie and Dawn!

Loved it.

The property was very much as depicted within the photographs and written description. We were curious to see how much Green Turtle had rebuilt after the hurricane several years ago. This property has totally been reconstructed from the ground up and has very updated finishes, appliances, fixtures, and furnishings. Very nice! The resorts within the north end of the island have been rebuilt, and are very nice, the south end at New Providence has a ways to go, but there are some restaurants that are doing well. All, in all an amazing experience we really appreciation the local property manager and owner how checked in with us several times. We would not hesitate to go back.

Best Family Reunion imaginable!

First of all property manager Dawn was right at the dock to meet us and bring us to the house. The momment you walk in the view is breathtaking!!! This house had the best provisioning we've ever had. Ice Maker produced enough ice for 11 adults and our coolers for bait and drinks. The linens and bedding were top notch and the beds were all very comfortable. Everyone was complimentary. The Hot Tub is huge! Hard to swim right off the house but there are several coves you can walk to that are beautiful. Omrie our driver did all our transportation both directions and was always ontime with a smile. We rented a boat at Sunset Marine and Adam and staff were very helpful and attentive, Best Conch fritters are between the Licquor Store and Green Turtle Club. So the only awful thing that happend was our entire family had to watch the Boston Bruins play horribly with bad calls from Refs. This house will not disappoint!! Planning to go back next year!!

Great location, perfect layout with everything we needed.

My extended family of 14 (age range 4-71) spent a week at Bella Mare’ for Thanksgiving and we loved it. It was our first trip to the Bahamas and hopefully won’t be our last. The house was the perfect setup for our crew...teenagers all in beds in the basement and rooms and bathrooms upstairs for the adults. Rodney was so easy-going and helpful during the booking process answering my barrage of questions and helping me figure out logistics; Austin, the care-taker greeted and checked on us regularly; and Dawn, the house-keeper stocked the house ahead of time with drinks & groceries and answered questions timely and even invited us to a party next door. We felt so taken care of and welcome. Weather was a bit stormy a few days, but we still were able to do most everything we had hoped to. Green Turtle Cay is beautiful and laid back, which is just the vibe we all needed. We rented 3 go-carts from Seaside Carts and two boats from Sunset Marine & Boat Rental, who stocked our coolers each morning for us. We will definitely be back as our only complaint that can even begin to form is the bugs liked us a little too much. Bring your deet. 5 ⭐️ from us all. Thank you Rodney, Austin & Dawn for helping make our stay as easy and accommodating as possible!

A Week in Paradise

My family and I spent a week on GTC and could not have picked a better place to stay. The home is conveniently located close to "town" and where we rented our boat for the week, which made life easier. When we walked into the door of Belle Marre we were wowed by the view!! We were pleasantly surprised with how well stocked the home was, too. We have stayed at many rental homes and are usually prepared to bring our own supplies, but this house had everything, from toilet paper to dish and laundry detergent. As a family with 3 tall boys, we appreciated the ample supply of large beach towels. The beds were comfortable and there was nothing better than falling asleep to the sound of the ocean waves crashing outside. Our oldest boy loved having the basement to himself. He called it his apartment. Two families could easily share this home and have plenty of space. We loved sitting on the screened in porch for breakfast and for cocktails at night, as it kept any bugs away. And having the generator was a bonus, as we did lose power for a couple hours one evening. I could go on and on about all of the wonderful things about this home. Thanks for sharing it with us and allowing us to have such a memorable family vacation. We will definitely be coming back!!

Paradise!

Just left Paradise with 3 couples after a week stay. Communication with Rodney and then Dawn, the property manager, was top notch from booking to arrival. She is your best resource for all things! The house has the best view with a large screened in porch, and the home has been completely renovated, looks brand new, and is well stocked with all things. Bring your own snorkel gear, and if needing more than 4 beach chairs, you may have to find some. We borrowed from the neighbor but later found out that Brindels dive shop has all of the above items. We rented golf carts and the company had them waiting for us at the ferry dock. This house is closest to the Benson Dock. We golf carted around the entire island, exploring all Green Turtle has to offer! Many beautiful beaches, pretty easy to find via labeled trails, dive bars and restaurants . Some of our faves were- Favorite gombay smash-Mrs Blubees Favorite beach-seaglass Favorite restaurant and bar-green turtle club Best party-Nippers, have someone captain you over by boat, or rent a boat from sunset marina (adam) The beach directly behind the house is rocky, but it’s a short walk (along the beach) to several sandy beaches, or a quick golf cart ride away. Plenty small grocery stores and liquor stores on the island, but we stocked up in marsh harbor before getting on the ferry. Beware of the pigs if you go to Big Os, they bite! This island was picturesque and we enjoyed our visit.

Amazing property!

Have been coming to the abacos for over 20 years and this was our favorite house yet. Normally power outages are a huge deal which also means ac issues. With the home generator we never had any power issues and the ac worked great. Dawn and her husband were awesome to deal with helping move luggage from green turtle club marina to the house. We also had a 9 month old and the home owner was awesome in helping provide a pack n play, walker etc. Would love to stay here again!
