About this property

The Crows Nest - 1747 Historic Isaac Pierce House 2nd floor centrally located

Tucked away at the very beginning of Main Street, guests can enjoy a quiet, beautiful nationally historic neighborhood in a Historically recognized home. A great centralized location just minutes to Bristol, Newport, Providence, Boston and the Cape. Also within driving distance to The Xfinty Center and Gillette Stadium. MBTA's South Coast Rail service out of Fall River is only 7 miles away and has commuter rail service directly into Boston's South Station for $12.25 one way. Enjoy the outdoor pavilion area by the fire as you overlook the Taunton River. High end mattresses, pillows, and linens ensure a comfortable stay. Breathtaking sunrises to enjoy.

An older house has older stairs. Please carefully view the pictures of the stairs leading up to the unit. They may not be for everyone. We do offer a first floor unit, The Clipper if these stairs may be an issue.

Our oversized patio and covered pavilion are perfect to take in a breezy sunny day. The pavilion and outdoor fireplace provide a comfortable outdoor setting. This space is shared with our first floor apartment The Clipper. If you book both apartments, this space is exclusively yours.

I was lucky enough to purchase this wonderful piece of property and fully rehabbed myself with the help of some pretty competent professionals. My family of 5 live in the townhouse style rear unit. I love being outside, and this neighborhood is fantastic for that. A walk down historic main street, or head the other way and walk through the Bluffs. Can't say enough about how comforting it is down here and how rich in history.

Why they chose this property

This property is rich in town, local, and worldwide history. This house has left its mark in many historical books. Nothing flashy, but significant just the same. Its a very unique property in a very unique town and I am happy to share it.

What makes this property unique

We went out and got real furniture for this apartment. We got the more expensive mattresses and pillows and so far people are constantly telling us how comfortable our beds are! Comfortable sectional couch with a flatscreen TV and cable. Our internet speeds are amazing. Off street parking and private access to the space along with the wonderful views.
