Welcome to The Tuscan — a unique and relaxing retreat located just a 3-minute drive from the World Equestrian Center, offering peaceful surroundings and beautiful countryside views in a quiet, safe setting.

Situated on our private property where we have proudly lived for over 20 years, The Tuscan provides the perfect balance of privacy and comfort. Although located adjacent to our home, guests enjoy their own private entrance, living quarters, and private deck, allowing you to fully relax while overlooking the beautifully landscaped grounds and tranquil pond views.

Start your morning with coffee on the private deck or unwind in the evening while enjoying the serene scenery visible from nearly every window. It’s a peaceful place to recharge after a busy day — and many guests find themselves wanting to return again and again.

Inside, the space features a comfortable one-bedroom layout with a queen bed. Ceiling fans and Samsung Smart TVs in both the bedroom and living room provide added comfort and entertainment throughout your stay.

The fully stocked kitchen includes everything needed for cooking and extended stays, while a full bathroom with tub/shower combination and an in-unit full-size washer and dryer add everyday convenience.

Traveling with additional guests? Be sure to check out our neighboring suite, The Loft which sleeps 3, located just across the hall, as well as our home next door, Tranquil Country Elegance, which comfortably sleeps six — perfect for larger groups wishing to stay close together while enjoying separate accommodations.

Perfect location for WEC

My daughter and I stayed at The Tuscan for 2 weeks of horse shows at WEC Ohio. It was the perfect place to come home to every evening, and close enough that I could go back during the day if needed. Highly recommend!

Perfect stay for equestrians

We loved everything about this place. Heath was so responsive to all of our communications, everything was perfect and the place was well stocked for our week-long stay. We were competing at the World Equestrian Center and this place is so close. We will definitely be back!

WEC Handy

This property was perfect location for our attendance at the horse show. The property was first class in its appearance and amenities, kitchen, bath, etc. Heath was there to meet us and thoroughly review the property of which he is rightfully proud. We will likely use one of Heath’s properties when we are at WEC in the future. Great place and great host!

Beautiful views

It was very clean the owner was very nice at check in. The only complaint i would have was the lack of thermostat in the unit it was very hot and i barely slept during our stay. However i prefer to sleep like a polar bear lol so not everyone's cup of tea. I was sad we didnt get to fish due to the rain but we had a very nice weekend.

Everything was perfect from booking the location, to checking in, and checking out. The owner was very nice, and gave us a walk through when we got there. The place very spacious, clean, and tidy. To top it off, what a beautiful property and view! Would definitely stay there again.

Everything here as promised - roomy, quiet, nicely furnished and well-equipped unit located a couple of miles from downtown Wilmington and very close to the World Equestrian Center. Heath was helpful and very nice to deal with. No complaints!

Heath is kind, his properties are clean and his location to the World Equestrian Center is perfect. Especially after a long day, you want a place that’s a close car ride where you can relax and feel a sense of home while you’re there. Heath has Ana amazing property. Very well maintained, amazing views in the morning and night on the back deck. Heath is cool too. Awesome garage and even better personality. Always great at The Tuscan

We have stayed at this property multiple times. The entire property is stunning and the Tuscan unit is always spotless upon our arrival. It could not be more convenient to world equestrian center and makes our horse show weekends flow very easily. The hosts are extremely hospitable and communication is never a problem. Look forward to staying again!
