The amenities are in need of updating. The beds were ok. Every thing else needs to be updated. It was a smart thermostat so we did not have control of the temperature. We borrowed blankets from Family that lived in the area. The entire condo is in desperate need of a deep deep clean. It was a two bedroom one bath and the one bath happened to be off of the master bedroom. Not conducive for a lot of privacy. The second day we were there in the kitchen faucet broke. I will share that they got in the very next day and put a new one in.

This place was nice, but not amazing. It's a little inconvenient that the only bathroom is an en suite in the master bedroom. That said, this unit was very reasonably priced for the location, so if cost is a major factor, you could definitely do worse. The host communicated well and responded promptly to my messages. She was also very accommodating when I asked to add a day to my reservation. The only major negative and the reason for the 4 stars is an absurd amount of warning signs posted at the door and throughout the apartment. Signs above the sink, signs on the remotes, sign above the toilet, all threatening fines for things like a toilet clog that are part of regular maintenance. We all sign an agreement when booking that states your responsibility for any damage caused during your stay. The warning signs all over the apartment are unnecessary and seriously detract from your vacation experience. The cameras on the door reminding you that you are under surveillance are also very off-putting. I would probably not rent this unit again, but if you're on a budget and willing to put up with the negatives, it's good enough.

Only having the one bathroom off the master was alittle awkward. But new this going into it. Apartment was pretty clean, building itself was older. But was very pleasant place to stay. Everything was in walking distance for us. The Tiki bar was really nice, as well as tge beach being right there. Over all, i would come back. Thx!

Ocean Manor

Had a great time. My wife and myself usually stay at Ocean Sky the hotel next door. We rented this place for the rest of the family. The resort is nice, the tiki restaurant is great. The pool is nice, but the Ocean Sky's pool and hot tub are nicer. Having access to both (extra charge) was really nice. Condo is correctly represented by the pictures. Not top end but exactly what we needed. Couple inconveniences, not enough towels nor extra blankets. Easy fix pool towels are free to bring to the room and just return. Multiple small signs about "fines" for plugging sinks, toilets or loosing contents kind of a turn off. But that really wasnt a problem. Just kinda a turn off. Couple other small problems which were repaired while there. I probably will try to rent again next year.

Property was good but we werent aware it was an adjoining room- door wouldn’t lock. We were charged for “ extra cleaning” which was unnecessary. Friends that stayed in another until had the same message? Communication prior to stay & following was rude & unpleasant- would nor recommend property managers

Late checkout fee

It was a great trip until I was charged $250 for checking out 26 minutes late! My son was not feeling well and couldn’t find his glasses which cause a slight delay in checking out. There was no delay in anyone coming in the clean for next rental. Host has ignored my last two messages to waive $250 fee. Very disappointed they charged this exorbitant fee for 26 minute delay in checking out. It’s stealing! Will not be returning to this property.

Condo Review

Great location,beach,property amenities,beds. No hot tub as advertised. The one set of bath linens for each was smelly and musky. When I requested more, owner said they were washed properly but they were not. We had to purchase linens. Kitchen had only one dish towel and no pot holders. Dish washing powder was in a clump like a rock . Only one love seat fit to sit on. The other 3 red sofas were hard and not able to use. Only provided 3 rolls toilet tissue, not adequate Water view was across parking lot and minuscule at best. Would return to property but not this condo owner said she was a world traveler and condo reflected this. We too are world travels and even in Europe never encounter anything so disappointing .

Disappointed with lack of accomodation

This was my worst experience at this otherwise fabulous hotel resort. Many units faced the ocean. This one faced the parking lot. It’s actually a one bedroom that was divided into two. there’s only one bathroom. It is situated in the master bedroom. I had to wake up my traveling buddy numerous times when I had to hit the bathroom in the nighttime. The host provided only one towel for the entire entire stay Denied my request for an additional towel. Numerous texts and postings from the host about petty rules and the monetary penalties if you violate them. I felt like a criminal or 20-year-old spring breaker rather than a mature adult Asked for a tiny bit of extra time for check out and was denied unless I paid another $150. The guest does not control the thermostat. Must call the host to change the temperature. Two little tissue pails, but no garbage pail in kitchen. Host asked the guest to sweep up before you leave. Very little attempt to accommodate. Made mistake by not reading reviews. Most of the other reviews say the same as what’s written here in.

Cold uninviting Condo at great location

I have to say, I was very disappointed in the condo at Ocean Manor. The proximity to the beach, the Tiki Hut, the bar, restaurant, and staff were awesome. But our condo was not very welcoming, especially when we had guests visiting us. The worst part was that, although it was a two-bedroom condo, you could only get to the one bathroom through the master bedroom. If you are a young co-ed on spring break, it would work. You can sleep 6 to 8 people as there are two futons, but this is not the place for a mature adult.Some of the issues we had, were that there were no rugs on the floor. There was no way to wipe your feet from the sand, so the floors were very slippery and we constantly had to sweep the floor. The sofas were not very comfortable and cold. Luckily, we brought a couple blankets with us to cover the sofas. Speaking of cold, you don’t have control of the thermostat. You had to text the owner whenever you needed to adjust the temperature. There very few kitchen necessities, like foil, spices and only one dish towel.Then there were the rules. Signs everywhere stating the cost for a broken or lost item. A 180 charge if you clog the sink or toilet. Then there was big brother, texting you when you were too loud. This happened to me after the 4 of us were just laughing at a joke.So, if you are a college spring breaker, this could be the condo to rent in Ft Lauderdale. But if you are a mature adult that likes a few amenities in your condo, find another place.
