Located on the 2nd floor of a 1900 building, the apartment has been completely renovated in an old and modern style: high ceilings with period cornices, 'old' furniture, lighting games in the room for romantic atmospheres, relaxing and exotic.

The kitchen is fully equipped, but you might as well enjoy a stroll and eat in one of the many restaurants on the Promenade du Soleil or in the center of Menton ...

The living room sofa easily folds out into a double bed (140cm large bedding) to accommodate 2 people and so enjoy this family apartment.

While the sofa will become a classic French 140cm large bed, the bedroom's bed is queen size (160cm large).

Linens, shower towels, beach towels and dish towels are provided. It is therefore important that you book for the appropriate number of guest involved. Cleaning fees (linens & apt) willl be charges upon arrival (2026 fares = €170 cash only).

The apartment does not have air conditioning but in the summer the shade cools the apartment in the late afternoon.

Wifi is at your disposal for those who need to stay connected during the holidays ...

You will be a few minutes walk from the Cocteau museum, the pedestrian street and the Old Market of Menton where you will find everything you need: bread & baguettes, meats & fish, cheeses, spices and olives of all kinds etc ...

The car is really not necessary but for those who take it, it is possible to have a paid parking (fees apply to be paid upon arrival; on reservation and subject to availability).

Delightful, in a wonderful neighborhood across from the beach, walkable to the market and lots of lovely shops. The VRBO photo is right on target. Philippe and Catherine were top of the line hosts providing us with lots of helpful information.

Magical Menton

A great place to stay for everything you want to see and do in Menton. Handy for the market and all the great restaurants. Catherine and Philippe were great hosts. Menton is a beautiful town and we will be back.

The location in Menton and the sea front view was amazIng.The check in and out was great, with lots of tips of where to visit from Catherine was very useful.Having fans in the apartment was fabulous, even in September, essential for us.The character building was beautiful but the apartment a little tired, but adequate for our weeks stay. The view and location made up for that.Definitely very easy to get to from Nice airport, and with train network a car was not necessary.The market and fabulous restaurants make Menton a wonderfrul base to explore the Cote d'Azur.

Amazing location!

The apartment was a gem. It is located close to the heart of the old town, steps away from the sea, grocery shops, restaurants and other shops. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful, providing lots of ideas on what to do and see.We stayed 3 weeks to really get a feel for the town and region and are absolutely looking at returning. Highly recommend.

South of France Getaway

Absolutely wonderful place to stay and Catherine was amazing with her service and recommendations she has listed out and maps showing everything. Wonderful to sleep with windows open and hear the sea, so calming. Right by the daily market for any of your needs from the local community. Would highly recommend this place and Catherine.

All that I expected!

The apartment is roomy with lots of light and a beautiful view of the beach. The kitchen is well equipped to make simple meals. It's close to the walk street, market, cafes and shops. Catherine and Philippe are the perfect hosts. I hope to come back!

Really nice appartment with very good location and super vue of the Beach. So close to everything - only complaint May be that due to unusual High winds authorities had to “remake” the beaches at 0600 each morning maki g quite a lot of noise. Highly recomended!

Location Location Location

If I was going to take a map of Menton and put a pin in the spot I wanted to have an apartment, this would be that spot.Immediately close to the beach and the covered market and the port. There an abundance of good restaurants on the beach walk and more slightly back from the beach.The view from balcony is perfect.Catherine arranged (at a fee) parking for us. We didn't take the car out a single time in our 6 day stay. When we wanted to go to Monte Carlo, we used the free bus to get to the train station to catch one of the trains that runs about every 15 minutes.

Two wonderful weeks in Menton

We were in Menton in the middle of May at the end of a seven week trip to Europe. The apartment was perfectly located on the main beach promenade looking down on one of the many public beaches and a block from the amazing market. The windows blocked out any traffic noise. The apartment was very bright and spacious and had everything we needed.

Perfect Beach Location

Menton is the perfect place for anyone who wants the flair of the French Riviera without the large crowds of Nice, etc. From Menton, you have easy access to Nice, Èze, Grasse, Monaco, etc. You also have a picturesque town with great restaurants and beaches. The property is just as described, very well equipped and centrally located to the beach, markets, restaurants, and all of the cultural events that take place in Menton. Communication with Catherine and Philippe was easy and they were extremely helpful and friendly. We had a lovely stay!

Perfect Mediterranean Holiday

Ideally located within walking distance of every part of town. Although I had rented a car, I took the train when visiting Monte Carlo. It was faster and I did not have to worry about parking! The apartment is well furnished with all the amenities required for a comfortable and relaxing holiday. Eating and enjoying cocktails on the balcony overlooking the sea is a lasting pleasure!

Great apartment in Menton

The apartment and the additional contact from Catherine were outstanding. The apartment itself was on a great location and was ideal for getting to the beach in short time. The service from Catherine was also great - we were provided additional equipment for our infant and she also gave us many interesting infos for the town and the surrounding possibilities.

HOLIDAYS IN MENTON

Can’t wait to come back

The apartment was tastefully decorated and had everything you could need. I really loved the old building and style of the apartment. Catherine was so helpful and accommodating and we appreciated the wine and biscuits she gave us upon our arrival! The location was perfect! We were able to have meals on the balcony, swim at the beach right across the street below ,enjoy the music festival one night right next to the building, shop and dine all with in walking distance. We did not need a car but did have one and parked close by. There is no air conditioner but it did not really bother us because we were on vacation and enjoyed that it made us slow down. The location was amazing!!

Fantastic property!

We stayed at this location for 5 days - and every morning were amazed by the view from all windows/doors. Absolutely spectacular! The apartment had everything we needed and was close enough to walk for anything else. Was a lovely older building with modern upgrades and high ceilings, which added to the sense of space. Catherine and Philippe were awesome to communicate with and were very welcoming and professional for check-in and check-out. If there was any drawback, it would be the traffic noise when the windows/doors are open, but that is to be expected when on the beachfront! And the noise is greatly reduced when they are closed. Overall we had a fantastic stay here and would definitely recommend it to anyone. Thanks again!

Wunderschöne Wohnung on Menton

Es war alles perfekt. Hervorragende Lage im Stadtzentrum, aus der Wohnung wunderschöner Blick auf das Meer. Die Verwalter sind sehr freundlich und nehmen sich viel Zeit, um alles zu erklären. Die Wohnung ist soweit gut ausgestattet, uns hat nichts gefehlt. Das Auto kann man in einer nahegelegenen Parkgarage abstellen.
