Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Lage ist wunderschön, und die Umgebung lädt dazu ein, viel Zeit draußen zu verbringen. Besonders gefallen hat uns die Möglichkeit, Boot und Kanu zu nutzen – das war ein echtes Highlight. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, sodass man problemlos selbst kochen kann. Das Haus und die Ausstattung sind zwar etwas älter, aber alles war in Ordnung, einschließlich der Betten. Da wir ohnehin die meiste Zeit draußen waren, hat uns das überhaupt nicht gestört

Haus direkt am See

Na ja !!! , wir fahren bereits seit 20 Jahren nach Schweden um dort Urlaub/Angelurlaub zu verbringen aber so ein Haus hatten wir noch nicht gehabt. Das Haus ist in einem Sanierungs bedürftigen Zustand, in den Innenwänden sind Risse, an den Türzargen, Türen, Fenstern blättert die Farbe ab. Das Mobiliar ist heruntergekommen, auf den Stuhl und Bettbezügen sind Flecken ( ??? ). Das Bett welches wir benutzt haben war so durchgelegen das wir Morgens mit Rückenschmerzen aufgestanden sind. Es gibt ein sehr schönes Alu Boot, aber keinen Bootssteg. Um es zu Wasser zu bringen und benutzen ohne es zu beschädigen muss man sehr aufpassen, weil der ganze Strandbereich mit Steinen / Felsen überseht ist. Zudem sind in dem Haus sehr viele persönliche / private Sachen der Eigentümer/rin. Selbst im Gefrierschrank waren Lebensmittel der Eigentümerin, was eigentlich in einem Haus das an Gäste vermietet wird, ein NO GO ist. Wir würden es so NICHT weiterempfehlen können. ABER es ist nur UNSER persönlicher Eindruck.

Ein kleines Paradies für Menschen, die Natur und Ruhe lieben

Das Haus hat uns wiederum begeistert - es hat Flair! Historisches neben Modernem; man fühlt sich einfach wohl. Die Ausstattung ließ absolut nichts zu wünschen übrig. Dass keine deutschen Fernsehprogramme zu empfangen sind, hat uns nicht gestört. Statt dessen haben wir die Natur und den wundervollen Blick auf den See genossen (die Sonnenuntergänge sind spektakulär), haben geangelt (Zander und Barsch), Pilze gesammelt (soooo viele Pfifferlinge!!!), sind gewandert oder Rad gefahren. Sicher werden wir noch ein weiteres Mal Cecilias Ferienhaus buchen ;-)

Bewertung Haus und Lage

Der Aufenthalt war gut, dank dem Guten Wetter. In dem Haus stehen viele unnötige Dinge rum, das ermöglicht bei der Reinigung etwas Oberflächigkeiten. Die Lage ist sehr gut, Fahrräder sind trotz ihres Alters gut, und sofort einsatzbereit. Eine zweites WC wäre eine gute Verbesserung. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Am Wasser ist es etwas mühsam abzulegen, ein kleiner Steg wäre von Vorteil, der allerdings schon mal vorhanden war. Es befinden sich links neben dem Boot dicke Steine im Wasser, die könnte man entfernen, das man beim ablegen je nach Wind an den Steinen aufläuft.

Beschreibung nicht genau!!!

Die durchgängige *****-Bewertung aller unserer Vorgänger können wir so nicht teilen, bedenkt man, dass dies ein „besser geht nicht“ bedeuten würde. Das Grundstück allein verdient durchaus eine tolle Bewertung. Hier hatten wir alles, was wir an Schweden so lieben. Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit inmitten der Natur mit Blick auf Wasser. Dazu die eigene Bucht mit Badestelle und vorhandene Boote. Das Sahnehäubchen ist die (Halb-)Insel. Hier hatten die Kinder ihre helle Freude am Felskraxeln und Umherstrolchen. Dafür geben auch wir gerne fünf Sterne!! Anders sieht es leider aus, wenn wir den Rest beurteilen. Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist recht zusammengewürfelt und von einfachem Standard. Grundsätzlich kein Problem und bei genauem Hinsehen auf den Objektfotos auch zu erkennen. Allerdings fanden wir einige Dinge defekt vor, die offensichtlich schon länger einer Reparatur bedurft hätten, z.B. Glasbord im Bad. Die Spülmaschine in Größe einer Mikrowelle ist in einem Haus für acht Personen(!) wohl deutlich zu klein dimensioniert. Als unangenehm empfanden wir die Vielzahl privater Gegenstände bis hin zu Fotoalben. Für unseren Geschmack zu viel fremde Privatsphäre. Außerdem hat man bei all den vollgestopften Schränken Schwierigkeiten, Platz für die eigenen Sachen zu finden. Das Haus mit seiner Einrichtung und Ausstattung bewerten wir deshalb mit ***. Hinzu kommt eine fehlerhafte und irreführende Objektbeschreibung. Kurz vor unserer Anreise stellte sich heraus, dass nicht BettWÄSCHE bereitgestellt wird, sondern lediglich das Bettzeug, d.h. Kissen und Bettdecken. Hier hat FeWo die schwedischen Vermieterangaben wohl falsch übersetzt. Zwar durften wir uns nach Protest an den privaten Wäschebeständen im Haus bedienen, der „Übersetzungsfehler“ von FeWo wurde bis heute jedoch nicht berichtigt. Insofern dürften auch weitere Gäste wissentlich in diese Falle tappen. Auch wäre eine Endreinigung organisiert durch den Vermieter (und selbstverständlich auf Kosten der Mieter) wünschenswert. So ließe sich unnötiger Stress vermeiden, wenn bei Abreise auch noch der Hausputz ansteht oder gar Ärger, wenn Gäste bei Anreise ein nicht ordentlich gereinigtes Haus vorfinden - wie unseren Vorgängern passiert. Mit dem Wissen von heute würden wir das Objekt nicht noch einmal buchen!

Traumhafte Natur

Die Lage des Hauses ist traumhaft. Man hat das Gefühl alleine am See zu sein. Unsere Kinder liebten es die „eigene Halbinsel“ zu erkunden. Baden ist für kleinere Kinder etwas schwierig, da viele Steine im Wasser sind. Man darf die Boote benutzen, wir hatten uns allerdings ein Motorboot gemietet und haben es nicht in Anspruch genommen. Das Haus hat alles was man braucht. Alles etwas älter, aber charmant. Die Vermieterin Cecilia war immer ansprechbar und hat schnell auf Fragen geantwortet. Wir hatten leider das Problem, dass unsere Vormieter das Haus ungereinigt hinterlassen haben. So fing unser Urlaub erstmal mit putzen an und wir waren etwas genervt. Als wir das Cecilia mitteilten, war sie so lieb und bot uns an das Haus reinigen zu lassen, wenn wir fahren, damit wir nicht 2x putzen müssen. Vielen Dank dafür! Wie schon vorher in einem Kommentar zu lesen: dies ist keine sterile Ferienwohnung, sondern eher ein Besuch bei Freunden, die einem das Haus die Ferien überlassen.

Great holiday in Älmhult

We stayed 2 wonderful weeks in this homely house. Enough rooms for our 2 kids to choose. We all enjoyed the lake nearly every day swimming (even in the rain) and canoeing. Its very comfortable to have it all right in front of the doorstep. The place is perfect to enjoy the peaceful nature and leave the stress behind. Cecilia is very nice and helpfull, thanks a lot. If we would have a chance we would definetely come back again.

Ein ganz besonderes Haus

Dies ist ein sehr besonderes Haus: keine funktional eingerichtete Ferienwohnung, sondern das sehr persönliche Haus einer (vermutlich großen) Familie. Man spürt, wie hier mehrere Generationen zusammen Ferien verbracht haben und verbringen. Alles ist voller "Sachen", die man alle nutzen darf: Vasen, Tischdecken, Fahrräder, Boote, Schwimmwesten, Bücher, Kerzen, DVD-Player, Weber-Grill, Waschmaschine etc., und eine mehr als gut ausgestattete Küche, die uns mehrfach zum Backen schwedischer Kekse inspiriert hat. Die Betten sind sehr gut, mit hohen Auflagen und guten Decken. Das Bad ist klein und nicht sehr schick, aber vollkommen in Ordnung. Das große Familienzimmer mit seiner Sitzecke mit Seeblick ein Traum. Es liegt etwas abseits am/im Wald und direkt am See mit eigener Halbinsel, was wirklich herrlich ist. Für das Baden würden wir nächstes Mal Badeschuhe mitnehmen (wg. kleinen Steinen), aber es geht auch gut ohne. Mit dem Auto fährt man nach Älmhult ein paar Minuten, mit dem Rad 15 Minuten. Die guten Räder haben wir mehrfach genutzt für kleine Ausflüge. Größere Ausflüge gingen nach Växjö und Kosta (Glasmanufaktur und Elchpark). Wir haben diesen Schwedenurlaub sehr genossen.

Tolles Haus am See

Wir haben eine wundervolle Woche in diesem Haus verbracht. Die Lage ist großartig, direkt am See aber abgeschieden. Die nächsten Nachbarn sind ein gutes Stück weg. Das Haus ist ein typisches schwedisches Ferienhaus. Das Haus hat viele nett eingerichtete Schlafzimmer mit bequemen Betten. Die Küche ist bestens ausgestattet. Im großen gemütlichen Wohnzimmer kann man prima sitzen und mit Seeblick etwas Zeit verbringen. Dass haben wir nur selten getan, weil bei bestem Wetter die verschiedenen Sitzmöglichkeiten im Garten sehr verlockend waren. In der Gegend kann man viel unternehmen, wir waren auf Fahrradtouren, Kanuausflüge und Wanderungen. Aber am liebsten haben wir am Haus entspannt, gebadet und den Sonneuntergang genossen. Wir werden sicher bald wieder nach Möckern kommen.

Beautifully located house

The listing description and photos are very accurate but the beautiful, peaceful outlook can only really be appreciated once you are there. The house is right on the lake, with its own little bay, and the use of rowing boat and canoe meant we could explore the little islands on the huge lake. It is surrounded by the forest and we saw wild elk in the field behind. The area is great for walking - lots of nature trails and the right to roam, of course. Take walking boots. The property is clean and well maintained, with good equipment in the kitchen and a very spacious lounge/dining area, where you have lovely views over the lake. There are good supermarkets in Almhult, close by, by car, which are open every day. There are some restaurants in Almhult, but nothing special, but with views like this, we mostly self-catered. Attractions in the area include the Ikea Museum, which was fascinating, and the glass-making area. Cecilia was very helpful and responsive, as was her neighbour Elisabet. Just be aware that you need to clean the house yourself when you leave - there is no cleaning service.

We hade a nearly identical great stay here, as Edgar D. describes above in german Although not too far away from the little town nearby, the place feels very secluded, you are alone in your private little bay, with a small island reachable via rocks. The house is equipped with all you might need, and feels very comfortable. From the Table in the living room you can see to the lake, you get a lot of sun and great sunsets. The contact with Mrs Ehnborg was very pleasant and helpful. besides the rowing boat, there is also a canoe, that we used to explore the lake. During our stay it had quite some wind - that doesn't disturb at the protected bay the house is at, but can be rough out there withe the boats. it was our 3rd house rented in Sweden, we certainly would recommend it and come back again.

Fühl dich wie "zu Hause"

Wir haben das Haus mit zwei Familien (4 Erw.; 4 Kinder) gemietet und uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Die Lage ist traumhaft - am Ende einer kleinen Straße steht das Haus oberhalb einer kleinen Bucht mit herrlichem Blick auf den See und auf die "eigene" Insel. Die Einrichtung zeigt, dass hier in den nicht vermieteten Zeiten die Vermieterfamilie auch Urlaub macht und liebevoll für den guten baulichen Zustand des Hauses sorgen. Nix steril, nix IKEA-Vollausstattung - einfach ein geschmackvoller Mix aus mehreren Jahrzehnten. Die Küche ist vollständig ausgestattet. Alle erdenklichen Geräte sind sauber und funktionieren. Der Fernsehraum (nicht im großen Wohnzimmer) verfügt über eine Klappcouch, sodass man zusammen mit den beiden weiteren Doppelbetten sogar mit drei Familien Urlaub machen könnte (Vorausgesetzt die Kids vertragen sich :-). Älmhult mit Supermarkt und IKEA ist ca. 10 Min entfernt. Zum Angelurlaub ist das Haus nur bedingt geeignet. Ich hatte bei meinen 5 Versuchen keinen einzigen Biss. Mit dem Ruderboot (kostet extra) kommt man nicht weit genug raus bzw. macht es nicht, da der Wind recht schnell auf dem See aufzieht und man Angst bekommt nicht rechtzeitig wieder nach Hause zu kommen. Kleine Rudertouren am Ufer machen aber Spaß und man sieht viele seltene Vögel aus nächster Nähe. Zum Baden gibt es eine geeignete Einstiegstelle, die wir aber aufgrund Sauwetters nicht ausprobieren konnten. Ansonsten geht es überall sehr flach rein und es ist sehr steinig. Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und antwortet zügig auf Anfragen bzw. am Telefon. Wir würden jeder Zeit wieder dieses Haus mieten. 2 Familien aus Sachsen :-)
