In the city center, take the time to discover Colmar from this traditional Alsatian house on 3 floors from the 15th century of 90m² completely renovated. In addition to its ideal location, close to the pedestrian area, the Christmas markets and Little Venice (but still accessible by car), this house will allow you to spend a pleasant stay in Alsace with family or friends .
The accommodation is ideal for 6 but can accommodate up to 10 people. The entrance is accessible directly from the street at any time of the day or night thanks to the key box installed next to the door. This provision provides absolute flexibility to travelers who will not be constrained by any arrival time.
The house consists of:
- an entrance giving on staircases allowing the travelers to go up towards the rooms of life or to go down towards the buanderie,
- on the first floor, an equipped kitchen (ceramic hob, dishwasher, fridge, sink, microwave, toaster, nespresso and classic coffee maker, kettle ...) open to the dining room and living room (sofa, armchair, TV and internet via Wi-Fi or ethernet cable.) and separate toilet,
- on the second floor, a spacious bedroom with a 160 * 200cm bed and a storage cabinet. A second bedroom with a 160 * 200cm bed connected to an outbuilding comprising a single bed and a storage chest of drawers, ideal for parents accompanied by a young child. A small bathroom with toilet, sink and double shower.
- on the third floor, a large bedroom has been fitted out in the attic, including a 140 * 200cm double bed and a single bed, as well as plenty of storage space (note that the stairs which lead to it are quite steep).
A cot with mattress for children is available on request.
The house was part of the ancient ramparts of Colmar. It is a typical town house in Alsace. The ceilings are therefore lower than in a modern house and the stairs are rather narrow. It is therefore not necessarily suitable for people with reduced mobility or children who can barely walk. It was completely restored in 2018 and combines modern design and comfort with the charm of the old.
