Chalet Le Beaunord

Magnificient site with a view on the lake and on the mountains. In addition, there is a dock giving you access to the water.

The abundance of window gives an amazing view on the lake. everything was tought to give you the nicest stay possible. Best quality matresses and bedding. The mezzanine can be reached by ladder and will make your kids and teenagers very happy.The basement is a great after ski space. We installed a record player (with buetooth) as well as a vinyl collection and board games. You will also be able to use the babyfoot table to play.

During summer, the lake is going to be your play ground. Many pieces of equipment are included (1 pedal boat, 4 kayaks (2 adults and 2 for kids) and 2 paddle boards). Note that personal water equipment are prohibited.

Internet is excellent

St-Adolphe d'Howard is a paradise for otdoor activities! The town is 5 minutes away from the cottage and you will find a grocery store, a corner store with a SAQ and a drugstore, some friendly restaurants and bars. The mountain Avalanche is the closest outdoor sports center. Many ski centers and spas are located at less than 30 minutes from the cottage.

This is the best of both worlds. You get the chalet life next to a lake and all the activities in the area of Les Laurentides.

Great place and location

Excellent chalet that had everything we needed for a family of 5. Spotless accommodations and close to skiing and tubing. The host thought of everything we needed. Can't wait to come back!

Great spot!

Very clean, quaint and cozy spot, well-equipped with everything needed for a winter weekend away. Good location for accessing both Mont Saint Sauveur and Mont Blanc. Would recommend it!

Great time on the lake

This was our second time at Chalet Le Beaunord, and we totally loved it here. The house is super clean, has a large terrace overseeing the beautiful lake, brand new and fully equipped kitchen. The lake is perfect for swimming with deep clean water and no annoying vegetation. We had such a great time over there!

Wonderful stay with a wonderful host

So many great things to say about our stay. The chalet is beautiful, and so clean and well equipped, the view spectacular, the beds comfortable. I truly appreciated the little touches such as the scented sticks and little goodies that awaited us on our arrival. I also cannot say enough good things about Marie-France who was SO responsive and went out of her way to be accommodating and to ensure we had a wonderful stay. I hope we get to stay here again soon.

Wonderful Cottage

The cottage has a great deck with a view of the lake and the recent renovations were done to a high standard. The property manager was very easy to communicate with. Overall it was a perfect choice.

Fantastic place

We absolutely enjoyed our time at this cottage. It was spotless, well appointed and very modern and cool. We absolutely loved the view from the windows and balcony/deck. We could watch sunset over the lake and enjoy cocktails sitting around the gas firepit. The kayaks and paddle boards were great to do some water sports. We have great memories and definitely recommend this place.

Beautiful environment

I had each morning a wake up swim in the lake and a hot shower afterwards. We spend plenty of time on the lake. The street is not frequently traveled. The kitchen it well equipped. And the communication with Marie-France was very nice, fast and easy. Thank you!

We had a great stay at the chalet!

We really enjoyed our time here. The house was very tidy and well situated. Not too far off the main road, but felt very private. There was a private dock to the lake just in front of the house across the road. We had a great time paddle boarding, kayaking, and swimming. The lake was calm and large enough to enjoy. Check-in was a breeze and Marie-France was very responsive and flexible with our requests. The beds were comfy and the rooms were very nice. We had a lovely time with a fantastic view. We would certainly come back!! Thanks again!

La tranquilité assuré

Notre séjour au chalet Le Beaunord était impeccable du début à la fin. Les réponses de notre hôte pour la réservation ainsi que lors de notre séjour, étaient rapides et courtoises. Dès notre arrivée, nos enfants et notre famille se sont tout de suite sentis à la maison. Ce chalet spacieux était chaleureux, très propre et exactement tel que présenté dans les photos. Les touches personnelles (produits locaux, bûches pour le foyer, etc.) de notre hôte étaient inattendues mais grandement appréciées. La tranquillité des lieux et la superbe vue sur le lac étaient tout à fait ce que nous avions besoin pour "décrocher" pendant quelques jours. Le seul "hic" était l'inclinaison des escaliers pour nos enfants. Mais l'hôte fournit des barrières de sécurité en haut et au bas de l'escalier. Donc, absolument aucun problème pour un groupe d'adultes. Nous retournerions sans hésiter au chalet Le Beaunord. Une expérience agréable pour toute la famille.

Nous avons eu un excellent séjour dans un site incomparable. Les couleurs de l’automne, la beauté du lac sans compter le confort du chalet ont contribué à notre bonheur! La famille a particulièrement apprécié leur joute de babyfoot! Nous y retournerons pour mieux profiter de la terrasse et des équipements nautiques sur le lac!

Pour d’agréables vacances!

Nous avons eu beaucoup de plaisirs lors de notre séjour d’une semaine au début du mois d’août. L’endroit est plutôt calme malgré la route tout près. Le beau temps aidant, nous avons profité des kayaks et paddle board mis à notre disposition. Ce beau petit lac est calme et approprié pour la pratique de sport nautique en toute sécurité. Le chalet était propre, les lits confortables. L’accès à l’Internet et au cellulaire est très acceptable. La vue sur le lac est magnifique qui a été quelques soir décorée d’un superbe coucher de soleil! L’hôte Marie-France a toujours été disponible lorsque nous en avons eu besoin. On y retournerait sans hésitation.

Très beau chalet, très propre. Parfait emplacement pour se détendre. La propriétaire est vraiment attentionnée. Les documents fournis avec les recommandations pour les activités à faire, les commerces à visiter sont vraiment utiles. Nous y retournerons c'est certain!

Weekend getaway

Wonderful stay! The cottage was as descibed. It was clean, warm and inviting. Everything we needed was supplied and I especially appreciated the little touches added to make us feel welcome. Communication with the owner was smooth and she went out of her way to give us recommendations for restaurants, local attractions and ensure we had everything we needed for our stay. Nice and cozy small cottage !

Internet was not working. The owner was really concerned but unable to fix the problem with the provider, Internet service seems to be problematic in the area. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay, the cottage, the view and the lake!

Excellent time at Le Beaunord

We had a fabulous time at the chalet! When we arrived we were impressed at how clean and well organized everything was. The chalet has a nice terrace with a spectacular view of the lake, perfect for having a glass of wine or a cup of tea. The lake itself is super nice, clean water, and no motor boats! Very quite and private. We enjoyed every single moment there!

Why they chose this property

The Laurentides area is wonderful! St-Adolphe is not very known. Starting from St-Sauveur, you will go higher in altitude until you reach St-Adolphe. The difference in altitude is notable during winter, where we find ourselves in a snow paradise. You can wake up to a beautiful white landscape daily and it is stunning! During summer, you can enjoy the 275 lakes in St-Adolphe and the landscapes which are embellished by many mountains. The Vingt-Sous lake is 5 minutes away from the village, has very clean water and offers a panoramic view on the lake, the mountains and the sunset. Love at first sight is guaranteed!

What makes this property unique

We have been renting cottages for the past 20years and we found everything we have ever looked for in this cottage. The mezzanine is a perfect spot for the kids, the teenagers and adults can regroup in the basement or main floor. With a nice view on the lake from inside, you will wake up to something magic.
