Lakefront Cottage on Spring Lake in Grand Haven

Enjoy your vacation in our renovated 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath home on Smith’s Bayou of Spring Lake. With access to Grand Haven and Lake Michigan, you have everything you need for a fun filled vacation! Boat, bike or drive 2 miles and you’re in the heart of Grand Haven, Michigan’s Coast Guard City USA. Our house has all the amenities you could need: King master bed with attached full bath, double bunks in second room adjacent to half bath, dock space for your boat (under 26’), fully furnished. Please inquire and we will do our best to accommodate your schedule! Long term renters are welcome starting September until May. Please note the dock is not available beginning in September. Pets (non-shedding) considered, please inquire.

Great house on the lake

Loved the property! Great view on the lake that was a five minute drive to downtown Grand Haven. The house was exceptionally clean, nicely decorated, and had all the amenities needed.

Relaxing on the waterway

Roomy, clean and comfortable home with dock on waterway in quiet neighborhood. Great for boating, swimming, or just relaxing. Short drive to shopping, restaurants, parks and beaches.

Super weekend rental

Extra clean and beautiful home. Super comfortable beds. Lots of places to relax , both inside and out. Excellent host. We enjoyed fishing off the dock and playing card games and watching the ducks.

The owner was amazing and extremely easy to work with. She answered all and any questions within an hour. The house was cute, clean and a great place for a girls weekend.

writing retreat

I chose this location to come and write for several days (I am a novelist). My sister also joined me bringing work of her own. We were immensely happy with our stay! The cozy house was immaculate and tastefully decorated. So calming and organized and the perfect place for my "writing retreat". Every detail was thought through and Nikki was perfectly responsive to any question. This is the first time I have gone away to write and said, "I will definitely be coming here again!" Spring Break Covid Snaffoo

This is a great property. This is what my husband and I envision for retirement. The host is super easy to contact. Super clean and they have just about anything you would want.

Top Notch Stay

Exceptional communication from the owners and truly a sense of friendship even though we never actually met. We wanted a home on the water with a dock for our boat. We thoroughly enjoyed being able to park our boat and go for another ride at a moments notice. The home has been nicely updated and was comfortable for my parents who slept in the master and my wife and I and two children who slept in the second bedroom. The bunk beds were comfortable and we had no issues or complaints. The home was clean upon arrival and we transitioned easily to vacation mode. The outdoor shower was a great way to clean up after a day in the water or beach. The location is perfect for access to Spring Lake, Grand River, and Lake Michigan. It is also a quick drive to convenience stores, groceries, restaurants etc.
