This beautiful site is on the corner of 10th & Main Street. 1200 sq ft., right in the middle of everything Historic Downtown Durango has to offer! Restaurants and shops are just around the corner and the train can easily be heard and seen when you step out the door. While categorized as a one bedroom, the open floor plan with high ceilings can easily accommodate multiple guests. This historic brick building has been fully renovated with air conditioning. The kitchen has a large bar perfect for the whole family to eat amd enjoy evah othera company. Downtown Durango has so many delicious restaurants, or cook at the condo a grocery store is also in walking distance. The bathroom has a large, luxurious shower with a rain fall shower head and beautiful custom tile work. The main bedroom is off the side of the living room and has a comfy king bed and another large sitting area perfect for relaxing with a book. Also off the main bedroom are a set of steps that are covered from the weather creating a little outdoor space for anyone wanting some fresh air. Hidden in the living room is a Queen size Murphy bed, two loft beds and a comfy modular couch in the living room area where everyone can relax while watching TV. The open floor plan makes this space ideal for fun gatherings like family vacations and friends getaways! Property can easily accommodate more than 3, there is only one parking space available at this time. Great location, close to all the fun and activities Durango has to offer such as, River Rafting, Zip Lining, Fine Dining, Music and Local Events, The D&SNGRR (Train), Hiking, Mountain Biking, Shops with handcrafted jewelry, and is a short drive from Snowboarding and Skiing at Purgatory Resort! Awesome location to explore Durango

Close to train - shopping - rafting - shopping - dining - walking trail along river. We stayed 3 nights and didn't have to get in our car once! Clean and has everything you need.

Durango Short Vacation

This property has it all. It's in the middle of town and accessible to everything, but quiet and private at the same time. It's very clean and well taken care of as well. We'll definitely be back.

There was some noise from the surrounding businesses, but not enough to keep us up at night. The place was stocked with so many niceties, including a sound machine in the bedroom! We would have happily stayed longer if our travel plans allowed.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The location, I believe was the best part of this stay. We were close to everything. The host was absolutely wonderful. Easy to get a hold of and took care of all our needs. Definitely stay there again if available. Thank you very much for everything going smoothly. We were there for work in a town close by and this stay made it worth while.

Great place to stay in Durango!

My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend in July. The location is perfect - right in the middle of town. There is a parking space right in front, which is incredibly handy, and the place is large, and roomy with an urban feel. Hardwood floors, very tall ceilings, beautiful bathroom. A/C unit works amazing well. We’re definitely staying here again in future visits to Durango.

Downtown Gem

This listing truly is the best location you can find in Downtown Durango. You will never need your car once you arrive. Walking distance to restaurants, entertainment, shopping, and the train. Holly was excellent with her responses to any and all of our questions. This was our 2nd stay at her property and will not be our last.

This apartment was perfect for what we needed for our trip to Durango. It was right downtown and provided a parking spot which made staying downtown easier. The apartment is quite spacious, beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable and could accommodate more people than we had because of the Murphy bed and a loft bed. Holly was easy to communicate with and the check in and check out instructions were clear. It’s a great place to stay if you want to be downtown and close to restaurants, shopping and night life.

Great place but loud music at night interrupted sleep

Location is outstanding. Right in the middle of all the action in Durango. Apartment is on the first floor and easy to access. Large apartment with plenty of space. Clean with a lot of updates. Only issue we had was that on Friday/ Sat there's a bar/ nightclub right behind (or nearest) the bedroom wall. A band or DJ begin playing loud EDM music at 8 until 2:00am and the noise and vibrating wall/ floor caused interrupted sleep. Owner provided a white noise machine along with a large container of ear plugs which didn't really help much. Offer was made to move a bed to another part of apt but noise was prevalent all throughout apartment. Was hoping for a move to another apt to solve the issue but never happened. So, If you are in Durango and hitting the town late this is your place. If you want a bit of quiet in the evening you may want to look somewhere else.

Could be nice with a some effort, and exterminator...

This property has potential but has some serious issues...First, there were some small bugs crawling on the floor, didn't fly thankfully but definitely crawling in both living room and bedroom. The King mattress was old, hard, and sloped to the middle. Internet was horrible and had trouble connecting consistently. Keurig coffee machine in kitchen was old and rickety. Totally inadequate silverware, no small spoons, very few plates and bowls, don't bring more than 2 people to condo. Harsh white lightingin condo not subtle and lights next to master bad inadequate. Bathrrom mirror too small. Lastly, only bathroom is on far side of condo from bedroom so plan on a hike if you wake up to pee. On good side place was very clean (except for bugs). Place has great potential but needs serious updating and stocking-kitchen, (and exterminator).

Downtown Durango - AWESOME

This loft style apartment is in the center of it all in downtown Durango and it's on the first floor so you don't have to haul your stuff upstairs!! It faces the RR tracks and is actually connected to the businesses that front Main St., and it has private off street parking. Yes - the train goes by and blows it's whistle, Yes it shares an interior wall with a bar so you get some bleed through music until the bar closes, but Holly the host told us this and they have provided white noise machines to help mitigate the issue.It was not a problem for us. Jenn says my snoring is louder than anything that was coming through the wall!! If you are a very sensitive and light sleeper this might not be your thing, but that aside this place is amazing!! It has 3 beds and a huge couch that we used for napping. A big open kitchen, well stocked, a beautiful funky shower that is like a grotto and a full size W&D. Did I mention it's literally in the middle of everything? .5 a block and you are at all the restaurants, bars, shops and galleries of Durango. Park your car and you won't touch it until you leave. Easy walk to grocery - City Market, Albertson's and Natural Grocers, Liquor World. Holly the host was quite responsive and was actually there when we arrived. Access is through keypad so no losing keys. This will be the place I stay anytime I'm in Durango.

Bugs, loud music, weed smoke, bar patrons outside until after 2am

WORST VRBO EVER!!! -4 nights stay to ski with my family, two kids under 12 -night 2, BUGS crawling out of light fixtures, windows and on BED upon returning from dinner. BUGS!!! -homeowner said she will refund the night, however, after returning home, Holly will not respond -night 3, HOME IS ATTACHED TO BAR, loud music until after 2AM. Front door does not seal, weed smoke in parking lot flowed into apartment where kids ask their dad what is going on outside. Again, bugs, coming out of the vents each night! -night 4, after a day on the mountain, the family is asleep by 10. After 2AM, an altercation breaks out outside our window. The argument goes on for over an hour waking up the the entire family. Holly, the host, says she will refund me Thursday night due to the bugs in the main bedroom making two of us sleep on the couch. Since we left Durango, no response to text or response to calls. Review from my kids: Terrible. Absolutely horrendous. I am an 11 year old girl and this is not AT ALL a safe environment. I felt very unsafe and wanted to go to a hotel. There was a man SMOKING 10 FEET FROM OUR DOOR. This was a terrible place to stay. Do not recommend for families with children. It was TERRIBLE there were bugs in the bed and everybody had to sleep in the living room and the door did not seal so a bunch of cold air came in and there was a guy smoking outside in the parking lot and the smell came inside! Also there was a wig in couch! Overall it was horrible!

The rental seems larger in person. It was very clean, and well appointed. Only negative is the smokers hanging out at the corner of the property. Fortunately the HVAC drowns out the talking, and other building noises.

Amazing Stay in Downtown Durango

This place was perfect- we had an amazing time in this comfortable condo - and could walk to tons of fun bars/ restaurants, or walk down and enjoy the river walk. Would be perfect for a large group, but fit just my husband and I perfectly as well. Well stocked with everything you need, and a great host. I would highly recommend it for anyone who wants a 10/10 location with a comfortable, spacious living space!

We had the best time staying at this location in Durango for our fly fishing trip. This property was very clean and comfortable! The location is great for walking to eating places, and the reserved parking spot made it even more convenient. The booking as well and check in and check out were seamless! Funky and fun property In Downtown Durango! We really enjoyed this property. It was within walking distance of everything downtown and the dedicated parking space made coming and going so easy! Definitely would stay here again.
