About this property

Renee's Get-Away New Paltz

I have a sitting room with couch, coffee maker, microwave and a bedroom, both private with a private entrance as well. In season, an outdoor shower is available along with the back yard.
I now have a TV in the sitting room which is Guest enabled. If you have your streaming channels password for basic channels, you can log in. All data is deleted upon your departure.
The door in the sitting room that leads to my personal quarters is locked, so that guests have complete privacy.

In addition to the bedroom with a queen size bed, I have a sleeper couch in the sitting room if needed for an extra guest.

Guest will have access to a bedroom, sitting room, full bathroom, and laundry if needed. The door accessing my upstairs will be locked.

The backyard has a table with umbrella that is available to guests for outdoor use.

Wonderful cozy spot in New Paltz. You do need a car, though. The bed was comfy and the place was clean and lovely. The hosts responded immediately and everything was great!

The Perfect Spot

A much needed holiday weekend of R&R with an intentional goal to fully decompress. I took a spontaneous trip up to New Paltz to get off the grid. Renee’s rental offered a serene, comfortable, clean, & private spot that was perfect for this getaway. And priced at a tremendous value.

Excellent week-long stay

Beautiful place, very serine. This was one of the most relaxed and beautiful places in the area, we really loved our stay! The backyard was beautiful as well, the flowers were nice. Even without a car, we found it very easy to get around using Uber, and the house was no more than 5 minutes away from downtown New Paltz. Would love to stay here again whenever we visit again!

A very restful and convenient place to stay

Renee's place was so comfortable! She provided everything we needed, and I cannot express how wonderful it was to sleep there! It's very quiet and the bed is very comfortable. It is conveniently located to all the roadways we needed to travel on. If we should go back to visit our relatives again, we would not hesitate to stay there again.

Glenn was a welcome guest - responded to texts and left the space neat and clean. Because I have an old thermostat that needs manual setting, some guest ned reminding to turn heat down when not needed, as Glenn did. A very common issue. Glenn would be welcomed back any time.

Very cosy. Big enough for 2. Very comfortable bed. We don't cook on vacation so no kitchen no problem. There was plenty of coffee for kurig.. thanyou very much. Host was avail but not in the way. Lives upstairs. Quite quiet and respectful in am. Slept in both days with thick curtains to keep the morning sun at bay.. Great trip. Many hikes nearby

This is my very first time using VRBO based on the above dates Wednesday 8/20 to Saturday 8/23 i have a better understanding of Renees confusion with my reservation. Renee messaged me via VRBO application regarding my reservation dates. I responded with clarification only to return to the room to find a note addressed to my friend , who was NOT on the reservation. Renee came into the area without notification and found my friends name on a piece of luggage and addressed a note to him. Renee later presented herself and appeared confused as to who she was speaking with. The room presented as clean, however there is a strong must smell and many cobwebs and dust. The bed was comfortable. There were two bottles of water in the fridge that the seal had been broken. The coffee maker complete with k-cups was a life saver. Overall experience was positive. I would not return to Renee place though due to the reservation confusion and Renee handling of same.

I can only say my confusion was not a fortunate occurrence. It has never happened before and can assume it will not happen again I am not aware of issues with water bottles, cobwebs, etc. Overall, I am glad all is well at the end and will attend to complaints.

Perfect Spot!

I was looking for a quiet space to do some reading and writing, along with an opportunity to explore the area. This place fit the bill perfectly. The property is easily accessible, clean, and well maintained. Renee is a very available host without being in your face.

Quiet country setting good gif exploring the mid-Hudson River

It is bigger than depicted online. Very comfortable bed. Easy access in and out with no steps. Unless you need a full kitchen, it is perfect for a couple. Renee was very helpful in answer our questions promptly.
