Really enjoyed our stay had everything we needed and very clean. The location is really convenient to stores and restaurants. Great for fishing trip had a place to park truck and boat. Would definitely stay again.
Great place nice and clean. Great location. The only thing that I did not like, was the bed and the mattress pad, or whatever was under the sheets, made it uncomfortable
Absolutely stunning. Was very pleased with this property. It was in a great location. House was perfect for the two of us. Felt very welcoming. Will definitely book again with Tim and Tammy next time we vacation up there.
Clean house with everything you need and exactly as described. Excellent communication with owners. Location is quiet and peaceful while being close to everything. Couldn't ask for anything else.

Nice little cottage on the property of the owners home. The lake access is down the hill a short walk with a sock to enjoy swimming, fishing, or to utilize their paddle boat. Very clean nice property and the owners were very communicative. Very nice and fairly priced. We enjoyed going to all the nearby state parks to explore the beaches, trails, and castle ruins.
My husband stayed at this property for a fishing tournament. Him and his fishing partner pulled their boats to this location for the tournament. The pictures are a little deceiving on the parking. They had a hard time backing the boats in to get parked. Other than that they enjoyed the house. The size was perfect for just two people.

There is a wide, mostly level 90 foot long driveway from the street. The 50 by 50 foot parking area is level and square with no obstructions. The driveway and parking area surface is crushed gravel. In addition, there are two 20 amp electrical outlets and one 30 amp RV/boat style outlet that can be utilized to plug in boats overnight.

Cabin get away
Was no lake view. Fishing dock was mile away, covered in poison ivy. Cabin was nice but in wooded area. BBQ grill rusted out.
Cozy, comfortable getaway near a State Park plus many other opportunities.
It is a very nice cottage...not the location we quite expected. It is next to the home of the owners Mom, who is lovely, on top of a hill (many hills in this area) and near other properties. The lake is at the bottom of this hill (on a peninsula) but not really accessible to the cottage and mainly boat slips. We were very happy to realize the Lake of the Ozarks State Park was only about 2 miles away and we went there each of the 4 days we stayed. The temps were crazy hot (100+) each day. but the A/C was wonderful! If we were to return to this area we would certainly consider staying here again! Thank you.
I rarely provide 5 star reviews; however, this place deserved it.
This venue is a nice cozy cottage which is not in a touristy area, so you will surely enjoy the peace and quiet for a much needed relaxation experience.
The boat ramp is not far (about 2-3 miles away) and once your boat is in the water, you can park it at the dock which is within walking distance from the cottage. This cottage no doubt has sufficient space to allow parking for both your towing vehicle and boat trailer.
There is a review stating that this cottage does not have a "lake view". I believe this person expected a "wide open" view of the lake. If you're expecting this, then you will be disappointed. I could see the lake via peering through the trees, so technically, this cottage does have a "lake view". I'm sure the cottage will have a much better view of the lake during the winter season when the leaves are off the trees.
All in all, I have no complaints about staying here and would definitely recommend others to stay here. I hope to stay here on our next visit in the future.

Not a lakeside cottage
We arrived a bit early because we were traveling across country by motorcycle. The cottage was ready as the code for the key box was already set to my code. However, the owner’s mom was in the main house and came out as we pulled up. She didn’t welcome us at all and instead was visibly unhappy that we were a couple of hours early. Not a great way to welcome your guests.
From there we tried to make our way to the lake to the deck that is available for guests with a paddle boat. Well, the ad makes it sound as though it’s a short way to the lake which it certainly is not. It is over a half mile back up the street and then down another street and then over to the deck. Long story short, not convenient at all. Oh, as as for a lake view, if you’re standing in the front room, looking out the front window, and you look just right through the tree branches, you can see some water. Not at all as advertised.

Guests showed up more than 6 hours early - unannounced. We have often had guests request an early check-in and in every other instance they have had the courtesy to ask permission and we accommodated. Nowhere in our check-in instructions do we state that if the lockbox code is set the unit is ready. The unit would be ready by the regular 4PM check-in time unless otherwise agreed upon.
We believe the lake access description and lake view description are accurately described in our listing. Very few properties at this price point even have such access and by Lake standards the access is relatively easy.
Bed and furniture are comfy, cottage is cozy, and the small kitchen is well stocked with cooking necessities. Is a nice quiet little place to hang out. There is room to park a truck and boat comfortably, but you better be on point with your backing up skills.
Very clean and has everything needed for a quiet, enjoyable stay. Only challenge can be maneuvering around parked cars with a truck/boat trailer, but to be fair, we did not ask them to be moved, which I’m sure they would have been if we’d asked. Great place to stay and highly recommended!
